Lovely unique, cosy cabin on the edge of woodland with a cafe/gift shop on the doorstep. We had a walk up the hill behind the cabin and were rewarded with beautiful views at the top and also saw several deer, which was a bonus. Would love to return one day.
Lovely property, which was very well equipped. Kitchen was excellent. Good use of space. Garden was cleverly designed on a steep slope with seating area at the top with great view.
We were comfortable and made personally welcome by Keith and Kay. They were kind and generous, leaving an overflowing gift basket in the kitchen. If you don’t mind stuffed birds and stag skulls around the room and you love rustic peace and quiet you’ll love it here.
Couldn't believe the beautiful Cabin we entered, when Keith welcomed us so kindly. It had such a warm feeling, was very spacious, the kitchen was great and we loved the little goodies in the basket and fridge. We had a lunch at Keith and Kay's next door Shop which was excellent, explored the Glen Nevis and the An Steal waterfall (highly recommended!), and coming back to the Cabin was perfect. In a long time I relaxed with a cup of tea and a book. Just great!
The owners knew we were traveling by train to Inverness then a bus to the property. We decided to take a taxi instead of bus and it's a good thing because we would have been stranded and the closest town was 4 miles away. They advertise a tea room and food store on site but both were closed. Then the owner was beyond rude. I would like a refund. I would never use Vrbo again if its out of the country. I had a feeling about this one and should have acted on it and cancelled!
Kay en Keith zijn zeer gastvrij. Jammer, dat de watervoorziening in de cabin gebrekkig is. Verder een meer dan uitstekend onderkomen. De omgeving biedt voldoende attracties voor een week.
Amazing in every sense from kay and Keith's hospitality to the freedom to roam around and local beauty spots you don't get much better than this couldn't get a better spot for our anniversary
THANKS SO MUCH SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!!
The cabin was amazing. It has everything we needed. It felt very cozy with lots of little details and tasteful decoration. We also appreciated all the little touches from the host, like the welcoming note, basket with treats, little bottle of gin, doggy treats, milk in the fridge. The private garden is also great. Sitting outside in the rain watching birds on birds feeders. Thank you very much to the hosts for a great experience!
Could not recommend this place enough,
a true hidden gem! Keith and Kay were super helpful and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The welcome pack was a great touch. Hope to visit again soon
Me and my partner had the best time. The hosts couldn't do enough and were such lovely people and not to forget barnie the dog. The area and views just take u away. The cabin was spotless and the furnishings made it so cosy. Will be going back
Had a great holiday here. Hosts were fantastic. Left lots of nice little touches in the cabin. Great food at their cafe too and you get a discount. Beautiful area with lots of great walks. Highly recommend it.
