About this property

Oasis of peace, fantastic sea views, large heated pool and whirlpool

Villa Helios is located on a sunny southwest slope in the middle of a 7000qm large olive grove. The house has a large heated pool (3.5 x 16m), a heated outdoor Jacuzzy with jets and relaxation areas and a garden. The Jacuzzy is available to our guests from July 2019 and is located in the olive grove. From there, a wonderful view opens up over the landscape and the sea.
Following the ancient olive tree terraces Villa Helios is nestled on three levels on the hillside. This gives you a wonderful sea view from all rooms, terraces, pool and garden.

On over 220sqm living space is plenty of space for families and small groups. The arrangement of the rooms and the design of the surroundings of Villa Helios offers plenty of undisturbed privacy for restful, relaxing holidays.

The spacious living and dining area is on the same level as the pool. Whether you want to take in the house or on the terrace by the pool your meals rather, you always have a free panoramic view of the sea.

Three bedrooms are located on two higher levels, which are reached by a few steps from the living room. Each bedroom has a separate bathroom with direct, exclusive access and a private terrace. The main bedroom on the first floor has the bed of a direct sea view and a Jacuzzi, from where you can enjoy the sunset over the sea.
The other two bedrooms have a king-size bed or twin beds. Both bedrooms have separately accessible bathrooms and terraces and also sea views.

The kitchen is fully equipped. Everything you need for cooking or baking is present. Dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, a large refrigerator with freezer compartment and toaster, coffee maker and egg cooker are included. A washing machine is also available in the house.

The dining area is at the level of the pool. Enjoy your breakfast or dinner on the poolside terrace. If you do not want to cook, then offer several alternatives. Visit one of the attainable in a few minutes restaurants. Alternatively, you can enjoy your dinner in your own private setting. A delivery service offers a wide selection of local dishes from the oven and the grill.

Internet is available via Free WIFI. The flatscreen TV offers numerous German and international programs. Blueray / DVD player and hi-fi system with USB, Bluetooth (for connection to brought music sources) and CD players are also available.

Idyllic and peaceful

Stunning villa in gorgeous location. Quiet and peaceful, plenty of lovely outdoor spaces to relax in sun or shade. Views of olive groves and sea everywhere and lots of beautiful beaches and bays within easy reach. Generally very well equipped and extremely comfortable. Host was very helpful and we were able to access local support from Keramoti villas who brought a pump for our low tyre. Overall experience was great and we would definitely return to this villa in the future. The temperature indoors was a little on the warm side even with air conditioning, but once p we’d acclimatised, it felt fine. A spatula/wooden spoon of some sort for cooking would be good, there was excellent kitchen equipment but oddly this was missing, and perhaps a few more basic essentials on arrival would be a nice touch.

Exceptional villa

We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Helios. The villa was extremely clean with wonderful sea views and in a very peaceful location. The owner, Karl, was very prompt replying to any queries and provided us with very detailed instructions of how to reach the villa along with lots of information on places to eat and visit.

Wonderful location

We stayed in the nearby Keramoti villas in 2013. The views, the peace and tranquillity brought us back again but this time to Helios. Helios is bigger and more luxurious. All bedrooms are large and well furnished. The master bedroom on the first floor is superb with its bath tub by the window and it’s only large balcony. The living room and kitchen area are very spacious and well equipped. Of course we spent most of our time outside enjoying the large terrace and pool and that view. Early morning and sunset were some of the most beautiful times. There is no light pollution so the stars as so clear and we saw a super moon. The nearby beaches are rocky but you can easily find your way in for a deep water swim. The small fisherman’s port 1.5km down to the north below Villa Magical View is excellent for a dip after a walk or run. We found the beach on from Elafonisos called Kedrodasos to be the best albeit a trek through a rocky path to get there. Well worth it. Beautiful and not commercialised. We didn’t go far afield to eat and the food can be a bit limited but there is good fish at the Sunset Fish at Sfinari and Taverna Lefteris in Kampos is very good. Make sure you load up at Lidl in Chania though as local supermarkets are limited.

Fantastic stay in stunning location

Beautiful villa with stunning views of the ocean and spectacular sunsets. Gorgeous, big pool - big enough for laps - and a jacuzzi with a view as well. Loved the setting in the rugged landscape of Western Crete, very quiet and felt detached from the normal hustle and bustle of tourists, hotels & busy beaches (though you can drive to one if you really want to!) Lovely restaurants within 15- 20mins drive - and a fully equipped kitchen & bbq if you want to stay in and have dinner watching the sun go down. Karl was very prompt in responding and full of helpful information, and Niovi was very kind, bringing a load of shopping supplies from Kissomos. Absolutely loved my time here - beautiful, peaceful, luxurious!

PARADISE again !!!

2nd time at Keramoti Villas - wonderful as 4 years ago but this time in Villa Helios perfect for 4-6 - large pool - we brought our own MTBikes and had a very sportive time with perfect weather - Nico is just perfect - also the food you can order at the reception- very tasty ! - We will come again !!! Perfekte Location für einen entspannten Urlaub!

Auf Kreta haben wir einen Ort gesucht, der weitab vom Touristenrummel Ruhe, Erholung, Entspannung und ein bisschen Luxus bietet. In der Keramoti Villa Helios haben wir genau das gefunden! Die Villa ist sehr groß und geräumig, sehr gut ausgestattet und super sauber. Und der wunderschöne Ausblick vom oberen Schlafzimmer und vom Pool bis aufs Meer ist wirklich einzigartig! Das Grundstück rund ums Haus ist sehr gepflegt und die Terrasse sehr einladend, um dort auf der Liege zu entspannen und den wunderschönen Blick über die Olivenbäume bis aufs Meer zu genießen. Der Pool ist riesig und das Wasser sehr angenehm! Der Pool eignet sich nicht nur zum Planschen, sondern man kann auch richtige Bahnen schwimmen. Die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit des Ortes bringt es mit sich, dass ein Mietwagen unbedingt erforderlich ist. Aber mit dem Auto ist alles gut zu erreichen: Es gibt kleinere Supermärkte in der Nähe, Restaurants und auch wunderschöne Sandstrände. Es lohnt sich aber auch, die kleinen Dörfer in den Bergen zu erkunden. Alle Menschen, die wir auf Kreta getroffen haben, waren sehr nett und herzlich und das Essen war immer lecker! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir, dass wir von Niko super betreut wurden - er war sehr zuverlässig, immer nett und gut gelaunt, vielen Dank! Ευχαριστώ!

Fantastic, immaculate villa

A fabulous villa with fantastic views of the sea. We spent a week in August and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of the property. The villa was impeccably clean, the pool was beautiful and we had everything we needed. There was a lovely pebble beach nearby, that you could enjoy all to yourselves and the beautiful sandy beach at Elafonisi was a twenty minute drive away. We enjoyed a lovely welcome dinner provided by the local taverna and food throughout the holiday was very good. Niko was always on hand to answer any questions and make our stay really enjoyable. Fantastic Holiday

We were a little worried about our holiday in Crete after all the media coverage about Greece................but we need not have worried at all. We had a wonderful holiday at Keramoti villas. Crete is a beautiful Island especially the East Coast. The people are so friendly and we had no problems whatsoever while we were there. We found everything we needed. The villa was amazing........we were so well looked after by NiKo and his team. The views and the sunsets were to die for. We enjoyed going to Elafonisi beach ...........beautiful.......get there early to get the front sun beds!!! We also went to Falassarna beach were we found waves......great fun! We found the sea so much nicer than Spain.......the colours.....so clear. The holiday was so much cheaper than we expected. If you want a quiet, chilled holiday with some connection to the real world when you want it, then look no further.

A SPLENDID RELAXING HOLIDAY

I spent 12 days in Villa Helios with other two couples of friends and we had a wonderful holiday. I can warmly recommend it if you like tranquillity and peacefulness because it is situated in a secluded area but near one of the most beautiful beaches of Crete (Elafonissi is 20 minutes'drive). To do shopping is a bit difficult, but Niko would be happy to help you, car is essential anyway. You will find the villa just like in the photos: really stunning, outside, with a splendid pool and inside with shabby chic furniture. The only thing I can notice is the lack of a small cupboard in my bedroom. We didn't have any problem either with money (we had cash enough) or with fuel: you can enjoy your holiday in Crete in absolute relax.

Perfect holidays......

The house is unbelievable. We have found excactly what we have been expected and even much much more. Also in the house you will not miss a thing. The are around is so nice and lovely.....we loved that Clone connection to the sea, to the sun, to the nature. The Greek people and esspecially Nico have been so friendly that we have felt so warmly welcome.......It was really one of our best holidays. The perfect villa with breathtaking views

First of all: Crete is a wounderfull island with very friendly people and perfect services everywhere. Either in Heraklion or in any other city on the island nor on the countryside you ever get the feeling of crises or depression. No, its just the opposite. Most people you see in the streets, in the tavernas or on the beaches often have a smile in their faces. You always have the impression you are wellcome. Almost everybody speaks english really good, so getting in contact and speaking to each other is absolutely easy. Driving a car the pretty easy, because the traffic is not so stressfull as in Germany for example, it´s slower and the drivers are carefull. Food on the island is delicious and fresh, no fast food. Wines are also very good (no Retsina anymore). And the prices for dining out and drinks, Museums and also food from the markets are cheaper than at home. Don´t be affraid to visit Crete. There is lot to see and the best island i know to relax - and Keramoti Villas have all the equipment to do so. For example we had a brilliant view from the beds onto the sea. It can´t be any better. The house was clean, the management competent, very friendly and helpfull, best sandy beaches only some minutes away by car and in Sfinari for example you find excellent fishrestaurants just besind the beach. Villa Helios is very comfortable with a large livingroom with high cieling, 3 bedrooms and a good equiped kitched. The pool is relieve when the sun shines hot. We would absolutely recommend the Villas and we also like to come back one day.

An amazing house with stunning views!

This is a beautiful house built in an old style yet very modern and located quite high up on a mountain side and with spectacular views of the sea .The sunsets were fantastic. The house is very cleverly built so that the three bedrooms each have their own private space outside consisting of two terraces for the bedrooms downstairs and a balcony for the master bedroom upstairs. The pool is quite long and makes for good swimming and some beautiful views as it is an infinity pool and there some nice lawns for kids to play on. The kitchen lies in an open setting towards the living room. It was well equipped and we made some nice dinners. The living room is very spacious and the high ceiling with fantastic logs gives it a very special feel. The furniture is very nice and the welcome drink displayed on the sofa table was a nice gesture. The house is built in sous terrain style so the the first bedrooms are half a stair up. Both have large and nice bathrooms. The master bedroom on the top floor is huge and the view from the bed waking up in the morning is breath taking. Since we stayed there during the low season I took the opportunity and used the bath tub which is located beside the windows and also have a spectacular view outside. The Manager Niko was incredibly service minded throughout the reservation process and the whole stay. He provided very good driving instructions which was great as it was our first time. In the reservation process he also put a lot of emphasize on describing what other services they could provide and really made every effort in trying to make us comfortable before arriving. We very much enjoyed the Welcome pack as well as the Welcome dinner from the nearby taverna. Since we arrived late it was great to already have breakfast for the day after already arranged. Other reviewers have noted where to buy supplies and this worked well for us. One day a fruit- and vegetable lorry passed and we bought directly from the farmer. Niko and his team are very courteous and nearby yet not intruding. The little service house where they are some hours per day is a great service. Here is a small playground for the children, bikes on loan and a small kitchen garden. And of course they are there to answer all your questions. The area is very secluded and we really liked the fact it was not so exploited and not many people around. We visited one of the mountain villages and had dinner with great food and wine.

Super nice house and swimming pool !

We have had a very nice holiday in villa Helios, it is a large villa, with a very nice see view. It has three bedrooms Also a nice see view from the bed in the large bedroom upstairs. The house was very clean. It is a new buildled house, very luxery with a nice kitchen. We enjoyed the large swimming pool. The local manager Niko is very helpfull , good customer service. Great and very quiet place

We have spent some wonderful and quiet days in Keramoti. The villa was really nice and well equiped with a lot of space inside but also outside with a great swimming pool. Wonderful place with nice view to the sea

Family (7 persons) We spent a wonderful week at villa Helios in July 2014. The house is spacious, very we'll equipped and offers a spectacular view to the sea. We felt very comfortable inside the house as well as outside on the nice terrace. We also enjoyed the long pool for a good swim. The surrounding of keramoti villas is very quiet and natural. You definitely need a car to get around. We also appreciated the traditional homemade welcome dinner from the taverna nearby as well as the welcome basket with fresh food. Thanks to Mr. Niko who offered his assistance in a very friendly way!

A perfect peaceful paradise - it's true!

Do not hesitate to book one of these villas! My friend and I have just returned from our incredibly relaxing stay and I am delighted to say it was everything it promised to be and more! For a tranquil break, these villas are hard to beat. They are brilliantly managed by Niko and the rest of the team, who could not be more helpful and welcoming. They are sensitive to a guest's needs, whilst not being at all intrusive - they fully understand the need for privacy, letting you know what time cleaners will arrive, etc. We spent one week in villa Aglaia and one week in villa Helios. The views from each villa were staggeringly beautiful and panoramic. The pools were clean and large (Helios is 16m long and allows for lap exercise and the pool in villa Aglaia is not much smaller). The sun loungers are cushioned, clean and perfect for sunbathing. Inside, the villas are very elegantly furnished and wonderfully clean and organised. There have all the necessary utensils to cook with. We rarely left the villas (but there are taverns a short car ride away). The local shops (mini-markets) are also a short car ride away, but I would advise you to make a stop at a Lidl or a Carrefour on your way down to the villas, as the mini-markets don't have a big selection. We went to the Lidl near Chania when we first arrived, then we topped up our food and drink by driving to the Carrefour in Kissamos - about 35 mins from the villas. Elafonisi beach is a paradise on earth and it is very close - a 20 minute ride away. We were keen to see it free of crowds as it gets very busy once the tour buses arrive around 11am. So we went early at around 8am and found it almost entirely deserted and like a tropical paradise. Go through the shallow waters to the island itself - it's like owning a private island! I haven't seen a beach like it outside the Caribbean! I recommend the mini-market as you emerge from Elafonisi beach - it has a better range than most of the other mini-markets. The weather was stunning, ranging from 28 to 37 degrees. The wind can get quite high, but do not worry - it is easy to move one of the loungers to the side that does not get the wind and the views are still incredible! Most days it was perfect, with just enough breeze to make for ideal sunbathing conditions. I took one of the bikes (free) and it was a joy to ride around car-free roads with spectacular views. We plan to return. We highly recommend these villas!

Perfect accomodation

This is really a beautiful place to stay. Our Villa Helios was in top condition, a lot of space, tastefully furnitured and very clean. The Pool is amazing, the view.. unbelivable. We enjoyed the welcome Dinner and the provided food and drinks. Niko and his team were very friendly and helpfull, thank you for everything. We had a great time.

Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit

Die Lage des Hauses an der Westküste ist von herrlichen Ausblicken auf das Meer mit tollen Sonnenuntergängen und weiteren Urlaubsvillen geprägt. Das Preisniveau der Tavernen hat sich hier dem der Villen angeglichen. Windig ist es hier öfter. Das Haus selbst ist etwas älter aber schön und sauber.
