About this property

Exclusive Coach House on Private Country Estate

Escape city life, with a unique country stay in a beautifully converted coach house on a 30 acre private estate at Toddington Park.

Relax by our lake side fire pit and traditional wood fired hot tub, a short walk away, perfect for summer evenings and winter nights. Or for the more active, join one of the miles of footpaths or visit a local attraction.

And for rainy days, there's high speed internet, Netflix and board games.

**Please note, as this is a private home visitors are not allowed during your stay.**

Built in 1885 as a coach house and stable block to Toddington Park House, the Coach House was converted into accommodation for the Women's Land Army in WWII (you can still see some of their inscriptions in the beams).

Open plan living/dining room with original beams, two ground floor bedrooms (one with en-suite), ground floor shower room and snug/third bedroom in the old grooms loft (with sofa bed).

The bed linen is all white Egyptian cotton, with a good quality sofa bed in the third bedroom.

Whether a family holiday, romantic weekend or some time out to explore the countryside, there's lots to do and explore including local attractions such as Woburn Abbey and Safari Park, Paris House restaurant, Whipsnade Zoo and Milton Keynes SnoZone, theatre, bars, restaurants and shopping centre.

The Coach House is close to the main Grade II listed house.

No dogs allowed.

Lovely mini break

Clean, comfy and warm. We had an issue with one of the showers but it was sorted extremely quickly. A great place to explore the area - we would have loved more time to walk the local are - but we will just have to come back

Lovely! Lovely! Lovely!

We stayed with my mum & daughter in this beautifully recently renovated coach house. Conveniently located amidst the stunning grounds of Toddington Park House we felt we Never wanted to leave. The 3 bedroom/ 2 bathroom property with one bedroom being upstairs, gave us plenty of privacy even when travelling with an older Teen. Sarah & James were wonderful hosts. We will definitely return and are already very much looking forward to our next stay.

Cottage in fabulous location

We really enjoyed our stay in the coach house which was comfortable and clean in the grounds of an impressive country house. The grounds of the house included a large lake and views of the surrounding countryside which contributed to the relaxed atmosphere very much a break from everyday living.

Spring 2023 Stay

Beautiful and peaceful property tucked away in the hills on the edge of a town with hundreds of years of history. An hour from London or less. Clean and comfortable living and kitchen area, comfy beds, great showers. Friendly hosts who are available if needed. We very much enjoyed our stay there and the wildlife, and the great play area with swings for children.

We moved to a country house in 2021 and are slowly restoring it, along with the grounds and outbuildings. The Coach House was the first to get fully refitted and is now used as a guest house to help pay for the upkeep of the estate!
