Casa Miriam Gran Canaria

Our privately run apartment is lovingly, comfortably and fully furnished and offers all the necessary conveniences to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
We offer relaxation in a quiet environment, far away from mass tourism.

Tourists who want to make their time individually and independently find the right offer with us. The apartment is independent and located in a small private settlement nestled in a rural idyll.
The house is brightly decorated. Agaete is a small, beautifully situated place in the northwest of the island. Tourism is still written down here.

You will experience the original Gran Canaria. Supermarkets, banks, the post office are all located directly in the village.

In nearby Puerto de las Nieves (4 km) visit a very popular harbor with its small beach. On the promenade nice restaurants invite you to linger and offer at reasonable prices delicious fish specialties. The really unique geographical location of the valley and our apartment allows you to be in 5 minutes by car on the beach of Agaete. Agaete offers a wide range of leisure activities including a natural swimming pool, hiking trails and its leisure and sports center with indoor pool.

Away from the crowds

Very comfortable and well equipped property. Lovely views. Not so good if you want to be near bars and restaurants, but with a car it's not too far to go. Great base for exploring and coming back for a peaceful evening away from the main tourist areas. We particularly enjoyed going into the mountains and swimming at Sardina. Late afternoons/early evenings in Puerto de las Nieves were good as well. Rolf was an excellent host.

Perfect stay

We spent a week in Casa Miriam and enjoyed it very much. The house is very well equipped with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. The view from the terrace is outstanding and we spent many a late afternoon sitting and watching the swifts and the play of light on the hills.

Ruhe und Idylle abseits des Massentourismus

Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen und bietet von der Terrasse aus einen tollen Blick auf eine imposante Bergkulisse. Alles war sehr sauber und die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr angenehm und alle Fragen konnten prompt geklärt werden. Für Ausflüge und Einkäufe empfiehlt sich ein Mietwagen

Wundervolles Agaetetal

Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt. Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick in die sonnenbeschienenen Berge war der perfekte Start in den Tag. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von unserem Vermieter empfangen und erhielten gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt im Agaetetal. Die Gegend ist sehr gut als Ausgangslage für Wanderungen und Strandaufenthalte.

Aufenthalt im Tal von Agaete

Die Lage der Wohnungen im Tal von Agaete und nahe des hübschen Orts kann man nur empfehlen. Vor hier aus ist auch die Insel sehr gut zu erkunden. Besonders gefallen hat uns der aufmerksame und nette Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Wir haben uns in dieser Wohnung und besonders auf der hübschen Terrasse sehr wohl gefühlt.

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit einer tollen Aussicht

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche im Casa Miriam und wären sehr gerne länger geblieben. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist super (es hat an nichts gefehlt). Herr Janssen, der gleich nebenan wohnt, steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, wenn etwas gebraucht wird. Schöne Umgebung!! Für Ruhe Suchende zu empfehlen.

Vacation in beautiful Val de AGAETE

Have just had a very good holiday in this comfortable well equipped apartment The owner Rolf who lives next door is welcoming and helpful but left us with quiet privacy to enjoy the beautiful South facing view We hired a car which enabled us to visit the near by beach and the wonderful interior of this beautiful island

Sehr schöne Wohnung in herrlicher Umgebung

Wir waren im August 2022 für 18 Tage in dieser Wohnung. Die Übergabe war problemlos wie die Buchung, da Herr Janssen digital jederzeit erreichbar ist. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und es ist an alles gedacht, was man benötigt. Hervorzuheben ist die sehr schöne Terrasse mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die Berge. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden und man kann jederzeit selbst ein Menü kochen. Man sollte allerdings zumindest einmal das urige Restaurant "Casa Lolo" besuchen, das uns sehr gefallen hat. Es ist allerdings nicht jedermanns Sache dort zu Essen, bitte aber einmal ausprobieren. Zum Wandern ist das Agaete-Tal ebenfalls hervorragend geeignet. Schöne Tourentipps erfährt man auch von Herrn Janssen. Zum Schwimmen fährt man mit dem Auto in 5 bis 10 Minuten nach Porto Nieves. Für den reinen Badeurlaub ist diese Gegend und die Wohnung nicht geeignet., es ist eher eine sehr schöne Gegend für Individualisten, Wanderliebhaber und die Touristen, die mit dem Auto die Schönheiten von Gran Canaria erkunden wollen. Die Insel hat mehr zu bieten als die Ferienzentren im Süden. Wir sind selber positiv überrascht gewesen. Die Wohnung von Herrn Janssen können wir nur weiter empfehlen, das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier!!!

Tolle Woche!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche auf Grand Canaria im März. Die Ferienwohnung war ruhig, gelegen im grünen Norden. Von der Terrasse hatte man eine schönen Blick direkt auf die Berge. Unweit von Puerto de las Nieves, wo wir jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang genossen haben. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und der Vermieter gleich nebenan sehr hilfsbereit und unkompliziert.

Peaceful and relaxing

Comfortable well equipped apartment with great views from south facing terrace of mountains We walked daily into Agaete 4km along road as wasn’t path through valley. Public transport 4 times daily. Best local restaurant just 5 mins walk no need to go elsewhere! Also great little bakery in Agaete which is not at all touristy.

Beautiful part of Gran Canaria, especially for walkers and people wanting to escape commercialism.

This property is about 2 km ( 20 mins walk ) from the delightful centre of Agaete, where there are a number of little bars and restaurants. A little further away there are supermarkets , more bars, eating places and swimming areas in the harbour and coast region. The accommodation is excellent , totally private , quiet, and completely equipped with everything any one would need on vacation. The mountain view from the private patio is stunning, it catches the sun almost all day and there are chairs, table , loungers, parasol and drying facilities should you need to use the washing machine. We took many walks from the accommodation and walked to the village and coast several times , but we would recommend hiring a car as we did in order to explore this remarkable part of the Canaries ( also bring a torch if you intend to walk back from the village in the dark) There is ample parking by the property. Everything in the property was good quality, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. Rolf the owner lives next door, and would be certain to help quickly if any problems were to arise. We loved our time at this property, and in this area we would not hesitate to recommend this place to any one.

Apartement in grünem Barranco mit großer Terrasse

Die Lage ist sehr schön. Für Bergwanderungen auf Gran Canaria ist allerdings ein Mietauto sehr zu empfehlen. Alle Wanderziele im Norden sind in maximal einer Stunde erreichbar. Das Apartement ist groß und bietet alles, was notwendig ist. Insbesondere die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Bettmatratzen sind etwas hart und das Sofa nicht sehr bequem. Das beeinträchtigte aber unseren angenehmen Aufenthalt kaum. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Unterkunft, die auch günstiger war als unsere Unterkunft zuvor im Süden der Insel.
