The property is quiet and clean and there is some charm to it. There were no big errors in the listing, but it did not identify the shortcomings of the place. First, the bedroom is on a lower level--you have to go upstairs to use the bathroom. Second, the bathroom is teeny, maybe 5x5 with a shower that's about 27" square. Third, the furnishings are so 1980s and the 21st century has not arrived. It is fine there is no TV, but also no WiFi. The bed is old fashioned mattress & box spring. A usable kitchen, but no trash can and no place to put groceries. So it worked for 2 nights, but less than ideal.
This place was exactly as advertised and exactly what I needed for my weekend away. I really enjoyed the bucolic setting on the farm, and it was perfectly situated for all of the little trips I wanted to take. The building is charming, it’s nice to see the cows and the chickens and the cat outside. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this spot
The description and photos of this property were exactly what we found. We were delighted and surprised with the seasoning, spices, and assorted cooking supplies that were in the cabinet!
My boyfriend came in from Massachusetts and we booked this to stay for the weekend. What a great place! It was quaint and quiet, very relaxing and offered a place to unwind from the world. We enjoyed being television free and spent our nights playing games and cards. Would definitely book again!
This little cabin is amazing. Very peaceful, super cute, and very close to all the fun Petoskey and Up North can bring.
Cannot recommend it highly enough.

We loved the tiny farmhouse! (I want one!). The owners are very gracious, and the stay was perfect for us to visit local family and enjoy a central location in northern Michigan! A quiet country location close to area sights and activities. I grew up in northern Michigan, and highly recommend if you are traveling between Petoskey, Harbor Springs and Mackinaw City!!
The cottage was clean and every amenity was thought of. The wi-fi was out due to a lightning strike, but we spent so much time away on the lakes that it was a non-issue. We enjoyed meeting the hosts and would absolutely recommend this place!
Loved the cottage and its charm. Hosts were very respectful of privacy. A bit close to the main house but again, the hosts made that a non-issue. Thank you and the cottage small will remain on our list for future visits!

Well stocked cottage with everything you need for a getaway weekend for 2. Quiet and picturesque property. Could have used a blind instead of just a sheer on the door since the bedroom is at the bottom of the stairs.
The home was just as advertised in the notes and pictures (super cute!). The location was close to Mackinaw City as well as Petosky, and the town itself was cute. Perfect getaway for a single person or a couple. Enough amenities to get you through each day and a nice place to come back to for relaxation and sleep.
The hosts were extremely friendly and met me on my first night there. They also saw me when I left, and were very kind throughout my entire trip.
I will definitely return!
Cabin was very cute. Problem we had was we are over 65 and have mobility issues. Did not realize bedroom was down a fairly steep set of stairs. Had to make sure didnt make many trips downstairs. Area was beautiful and quiet. Just what we were looking for.
