Perfect Location

A lovely, compact studio right in the middle of the carrefour Odéon. Everything you need is here for a comfortable stay - great shower, well equipped kitchenette and not noisy considering the location. Just a couple of notes of caution: there’s no lift, and it’s on the 2nd floor; and the steps to the bed on the mezzanine are very narrow and steep.

Fabulous Apartment Apart from the Noise

This is an extremely clean, very well equipped apartment which has been renovated to a high standard. Its main plus is that it is in a fabulous part of Paris; probably the best located apartment we have ever stayed in. For us, however the wonderful location (during our recent 7 day stay) was somewhat off-set by the unrelenting noise generated by the next door bar/nightclub that went on until about 2am every night (and until after 5am on Fri night/Sat morning). As the apartment is very narrow we found the need to close the window to try and minimise the impact of the noise made the apartment feel slightly claustrophobic. I recognise most other reviews have not found this issue a worry, however I raise it just for the sake of 'balance'.

PERFECT LOCATION

From the start, we knew that we would be happy here. Much of that had to do with Michelle's help. She responded to our inquiry very rapidly - always a good sign! We really enjoyed this little studio. We found that the photographs and description provided were very accurate. Every square inch of space is well-appointed. All of the amenities we needed were there. The Nespresso coffee machine and the welcome basket and bottle of wine were much appreciated. That there was no elevator was not a problem for us. Anyone with mobility difficulties would need to consider this. The bedroom's location is also in the mezzanine. The couch does have a pull-out bed. The apartment was very clean. Bedding and towels were new. An excellent quality hair dryer was available. The combination washer and dryer was useful for shirts and underwear. With such a great location comes city noise. And it is true that there is a bar on the first floor (more of a get-together place, no loud music). We got around this by closing the window and using the two fans provided to create a background noise. We slept very soundly, and I am a light sleeper. We walked everywhere! The metro and RER stations are very close. There are countless restaurants in every price range, coffee shops, bakeries, and grocery stores. The St. Germain market is a short walk away. We would definitely recommend this listing to couples. It was perfect for two.

Brilliant Location!

This is a great location for walking to the Louvre, Notre Dame - really worth seeing and the romantic Left Bank. Within a two minute walk there are close to 10 restaurants, and a fine chocolate shop. There are two caveats: you will be carrying your suitcase up two flights of stairs and the loft for sleeping has steep narrow steps - not for anyone with mobility issues.

Great location!

The apartment is right in the heart of St. Germain, close to shopping and the metro. Walkable to Notre Dame and the Louvre. There are four cafes just steps from the door so it did get noisy sometimes at night. But the beds are very comfortable and, after so much walking, it didn’t really bother us.

Cute little apartment

Very quaint place to stay. The stairs are narrow and steep, but the unit is on the 2nd floor, so it is manageable. There was no a lot of space for luggage. We were backpacking, so our luggage was small. Large suitcases would've been hard to fit. I found the noise from outside hard to sleep through. I turned on the fan for background noise and that helped. Great location. Very easy to get to everything on foot.

Great place for location

Enjoyed the location (we could handle the stairs). Space is small but we had packed light and could manage. Communication was excellent and questions answered. My only issue was the Washer Dryer listed…there is access to these down the street but not at the apartment.

Excellent location

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Everything you need is just blocks away. So many great restaurants right next door and the metro is less than a block away. The studio had everything we needed for our stay and check and out was a breeze. We definitely will be staying here again on our next trip to Paris

Perfect location

Just as described. Clean and all I thought it would be. Only thing missing is a lift. Grocery close by as is the metro. Great dining locations close by as well. Perfect flat.

Location of tiny apartmentm

Apartment is 7 ft wide, enough for comfortable sleeper sofa. Up to lift bed by very narrow stairs. 3 ft headroom. Can’t stand up. In Europe first floor is ground floor and our second is their first. This apartment on US third floor narrow winding staircase ( quaint to the max)

Great Location to See the Best of Paris

The apartment was cozy and comfortable in the perfect area of town for experiencing life in Paris. Right next to a number of cafes and shopping, and the metro is a block away so you can get anywhere in easily. The host was responsive and helpful. Great spot to stay in Paris!

Great location

Excellent location, close to metro station and lots of restaurants/shops within walking distance. Place was small, so no more than two people can fit comfortably. Did have some trouble getting in contact with individual to assist with check in (was not immediately responsive), however property owner was very prompt in helping us get checked in (and allowing us to store our luggage prior to check in). Don’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues. Flat is located on second floor, no elevators, and stairs can be different cult (not to mention the steps to access the bed). Very lovely flat and enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location for exploring Paris

We had a wonderful stay. We knew it was a small place before arriving but also knew we wouldn’t be spending a lot of time at the property. Odeon metro station is very close and there are some wonderful restaurants in the area.

Location, Location, Location!!

This is in a fantastic neighborhood! It gets noisy late at night on the weekends from the restaurants, but the location is worth it. 2 flights of stairs, but my 81 year old mom had no problems. There is an Epic grocery store a 5 minute walk away that had everything we needed.
