Sweet stay to take in the Dogwoods!

We traveled from Nashville area to get in some beauty of nature and the dog woods. Easy commute to Cades Cove. Very inviting space!

Great stay

This home was the perfect location for us to use as a base for a weekend of hiking in the smokies. It’s recently renovated and had a good amount of space for my friend and I. It also would work well for a family of four. Thanks for a great stay!

Great treasure

Easy to get to. Plenty of room for a family of 3. Amenities were perfect for our stay. Most importantly, one appliance failed and the host handled things perfectly. It's not about the failures, it's about how you recovery. Great place and would highly recommend.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was beautiful and nicely furnished, We didn’t utilize the screened in back porch because didn’t stay long enough but I’m sure it’s wonderful to spend some time on.The only negative is not about the cabin itself but if you have old knees it’s somewhat hard going up to your vehicle from the cabin. Something to consider when booking. The road going up is somewhat narrow but nice. Overall great stay 😊

Great cabin & location!

Our stay at the cabin in the mountains was nothing short of incredible. Traveling with my spouse and four teenagers, we were all in need of a getaway that offered both adventure and relaxation. This cabin delivered on all fronts. The location is stunning, nestled in the heart of nature with breathtaking views all around. The drive up to the cabin was part of the adventure, and to our amazement, we even saw a bear on the road just before reaching the cabin. It was an exciting and memorable start to our stay! The cabin itself was cozy yet spacious, comfortably accommodating our large family. The amenities were top-notch, from the well-equipped kitchen and grill to the comfortable beds. My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch and the teenagers especially loved the outdoor space, where they could explore and take in the beauty of the mountains. We spent our days hiking, exploring nearby attractions like tubing The Little River (using Smoky Mt River Rat Tubing) and Cade’s Cove, and simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The tranquility of the location allowed us to unwind and reconnect as a family. This cabin provided us with a perfect blend of adventure and comfort. We absolutely loved our stay and are already planning our return trip. The host was so welcoming and patiently answered any questions we had quickly. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to escape into nature!

Great cozy stay

Cabin is very clean, fresh, and cozy. Was surprised that it came stocked with spices, shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. Host was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Would recommend to anyone.

Cute Cozy Cabin!

The cabin is located on the quiet side. The road to the cabin is just wide enough for 2 cars, which is always helpful. Cabin is very small but decorated beautifully. The 2nd bedroom is kind of tight with the trundle pulled out, but it worked great for our kids. The cabin has a great farmhouse theme and the screened in back porch was a nice way to end the evening, rocking and reading. Austin was very quick to respond to questions and very pleasant.

Christy cabin

Cabin was well stocked and clean. Screen porch was grand. Downhill walk from car would benefit from sturdy shoes. It is a rural, fairly quiet location. Did see a bear fairly close to the cabin. Roads are curvy and steep. We enjoyed our stay.

Cozy cabin

At first we were concerned about the parking as the parking area is kind of a graveled pad overlooking the steep drop but we figured out how to park the truck safely and it was fine. The cabin was very neat and clean...loved the screened porch. Check in and out was simple. The room with the trundle is a bit cramped when the trundle is pulled out...but our friends who used it made it work. Loved having 2 full baths...could use some hooks in small bath to hang towels or clothes. All in all it was a great place to stay and would definitely stay again.

Cozy cabin

The cabin has parking for 1 vehicle. The cabin sits below the grade so has a small hill going down to the front door. Nice screened in porch out back. We did however have major plumbing issues with water backing up in shower, tub and toilets. We weren’t able to use the water on the last day because of this. Hopefully, owners will fix this before renting again!

Perfect cabin

Cabin was as described. The location couldn’t be more perfect. 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge or the park. Close enough to be convenient but far enough to not have to deal with traffic and crowds. Cabin itself was very clean, and accurate. Only thing that would have been better would be an outdoor heat source on the porch and check out instructions. Everything else was great.

Super clean and cozy!

We had a really sweet time as a family in this cabin. It appears to be newly renovated, and it all felt very clean and new, but homey instead of sterile. We didn’t do any extensive cooking or anything that required much counter space, but we brought food from home or the grocery store and found everything we needed- we certainly could have cooked here. The sink was wonderfully large! The house has a nice view of the forest and the screened in porch was really nice with twinkle lights. The couches were new and clean, and my daughter had no complaints about the pull-out. There was even a lit Christmas tree with other decorations! We didn’t have to use the washer/dryer, but I was thankful they had one. I was surprised by how much I liked Townsend- I just booked it because it was near Cade’s Cove and Gatlinburg. The restaurants we tried were great, and Tuckaleechee Caverns was a hidden gem. They were so laid back, and the cave was really neat- our kids loved it. They let us touch everything. Austin was great, and I think the check-in/check out were the simplest I’ve done with rentals. Bottom line for me is that I’m easily grossed out in places, especially when my little kids are able to touch EVERYTHING, but this home really put me at ease because it was comfortable and most importantly to me, clean.

This cabin has been in our family for a while and we enjoy using it as a get-away in the peaceful area of Townsend. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Couples and families from Maine to Michigan - from Memphis to Miami - plan their vacations, honeymoons, or romantic getaways year-round in Townsend. Our cabin provides serenity and privacy with amenities not normally provided by the area's hotels and motels. Our temperate climate offers relief from Florida's oppressive summer heat and the Midwest's snow and ice. Autumn is spectacular; the golds, reds and light browns offered by the various species of trees make the mountains appear to be on fire! So, come on down and leave your snow shovel at home.

The town of Townsend is very charming! It has a small town feel with quaint boutiques and restaurants surrounded by the Great Smoky Mountains makes you feel right at home with its Southern Charm. The Smokies, Cades Cove, Little River, Elkmont and Metcalf Bottoms all are within minutes of the quaint shops, restaurants, antiques, and tubing businesses that abound along Highway 321 in Townsend. The fly-fishing schools are well-attended, and the trout are calling your name. The spring & summer months bring festivals and numerous outdoor activities, and the fall foliage is magnificent. Hiking. Biking. Exploring. There is so much to do or it's just a perfect place to relax ~ our cabin and town do not disappoint.
