Propety was great.. but BEDBUGS!

Our stay was fine and we enjoyed the proximity to the beach.. Unfortunately, the room had bedbugs and we had no idea until it was too late. On our last night of the 3-night stay, we woke up covered in bites! It made traveling back home a nightmare. We've been trying to prevent contaminating our home, but we may have to call pest control to come help. Be cautious of the beds at this place.

The Beach at Long boat Key #104

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room 104 at the Beach is tired and in need of remodel. Couch and bed mattress ole and worn out. Water pressure at kitchen sink poor. Placement of TV made it difficult to use kitchen sink. TV picture not good, not sharp and original TV remote missing. Location and staff ae great, but owner needs to invest some money into justifying why we paid over $400 per night. I would not return. Oh by the way, landscape beds need some work.

Perfect in every way!

This is the perfect beach condo for a peaceful getaway. My daughter and I loved being steps away from the private beach. The Murphy bed was surprisingly very comfortable. Sue at the office was so sweet and helpful. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Anniversary getaway

Last minute stay, booked the night before. Very nice, clean and good location. Close to st armands square. Nice view very nice beach quiet and enjoyable. Everything was as expected. The lounge chairs on patio couldn't sit on was broken through. Very clean and perfect very 2.

Third time staying here!

We definitely enjoyed our time at the beach. We have stayed in three other condos at this facility. We really love Saint Armands Circle. The condo is very nice and very clean. Just a few things that we noticed that we could benefit from. There was no hot pads to bring your food out of the oven. The outdoor furniture on our patio is falling apart. The pillows were absolutely terrible. The insides of the pool could use a scrubbing. The TV placement in this particular condo was very difficult to maneuver. With all that being said, I would stay again.

The Beach #104 with RVA

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great! You can’t beat it! The Beach Complex is unique and right on the beach for private access. Exterior Painting, Pool Maintenance, Landscaping, etc was all happening during my stay. Maintenance was in our condo two days in a row with little notice from the beach office. Condo #104 is good. Only a few minor details that would make me hesitant to book again. Beach chairs were taken early everyday. Not enough for guests especially if large parties. I called RVA for assistance on one thing and didn’t get a return phone call. Booking with RVA was great- very helpful as I changed my dates by 1 day. Overall- nice stay. Thank you

Do not stay in #104 at The Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great property but avoid this unit. When we arrived the temperature in the unit was 80 degrees. We went to turn on the AC and found a note instructing us to keep the temperature at a minimum of 74 degrees. If not, the unit would freeze up and cease operating. This made for an uncomfortably hot week in the unit, especially when trying to sleep at night. There was not a screen door on the patio so it was impossible to even get a breeze in the unit at night. The unit is in very poor condition and was not cleaned well prior to our arrival. The bathroom fan was broken and sounded like a screaming child, some of the small appliances were broken. We found clothes hanging in the closet from a past renter. The patio furniture was mostly broken and couldn’t be used. We heard the owner of the unit is aware of the many issues but is not willing to make repairs. On a good note, the on-site management staff were wonderful and helped as much as they could when we asked. The location was great and it sits on a beautiful stretch of quiet beach. We would stay in the property again but would rent a different unit.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is just awful except fpr the bed. It was perfect and that was important to me. Everyhing else was bad. The patio furniture is old, tired, and broken. The silverware was pathetic. the TV was impossible to figure out and no instruction provided. I am offended that you aren't following the law and providing recycling. The bathtub mat was covered in mold and the manager thew it in the trash. I am sure there's more, but you get the idea.
