We had a great getaway to Packwood the cabin was perfect for our little group. The cabin was quaint and the view was beautiful definitely at night when the stars were out.Would definitely stay again
Had a great time hanging out with a true wood burning fireplace, super clean yet cozy spot with hot tub as a bonus. Great spot in regards to proximity to skiing at White Pass. Well appointed kitchen including even a cocktail shaker for home-made margs ...
House was as described and pictured, host was easy to work with and responsive to all communications. Great location, quiet area, easy access to everything Packwood has to offer. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a place to stay while in the area.

This is an amazing find. Clean, cozy, and quiet. A perfect getaway for those who need a retreat.
The cabin beat our expectations. It was well stocked with everything you would need down too split wood for the indoor/outdoor fireplaces. We enjoyed the surrounding views in the the well placed hot tub. Thanks again for your extra efforts to make your place a great stay. Can’t wait to book our next stay for longer next time.
We had a long day coming from a rental in Seattle & were welcomed by the peaceful mtn views & beautifully set dinner table. (We were hungry!) great games, very clean, & lots of kitchen equipment if needed. Nice deck for morning coffee. Thank you
The house was absolutely perfect for a night stay before the Mt. Ranier Half Marathon. Perfect layout, comfortable beds and the hot tub was ready for us to jump in. Communication/directions for the house were sent in advance of our check-in which made finding the house a breeze! Will definitely come back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
We had a wonderful time here at the cabin. Its location feels more secluded than it is because it was so quiet, but it is located very near town and super convenient to everything you’d need during your stay. The cabin itself is well-stocked for a weekend stay and comfortable for everyone.
The host was spectacular. Communication was the outstanding. They family said they felt at home. The view was stunning. Our stay was peaceful in an extremely clean house. I was impressed!!
We had an amazing stay at Mike's cozy cabin! The views were amazing and everything we needed for our stay was at our fingertips. The hiking and amenities right at the doorstep made for a great experience.
Thanks Mike and Iryna!
We enjoyed the location and proximity to mt.. Rainier and local hikes. However, with few places to eat in town we decided to grill - the grill does not work well, this needs improvement.
With four adults enjoying outdoor activities, we all needed to shower - the shower does not drain well at all - this also needs improvement.
We appreciated the hot tub and tv as we were able to watch some of the Olympic coverage. Thank you for hosting!
Awesome place.
My only issue is with VRBO booking. It was a 2 night minimum but was not available for the Saturday but still allowed me to book for one night. Had to find accommodations for our second night last minute.

The place was awesome and the host was great in communication and follow through.
It's really a wonderful cabin. With minor exception, it was super-clean. The bedding and linens were top notch, and the host, Mihail, was great to work with. We loved our stay there.I only refrained from giving five stars in all categories for two reasons. First, water in the hot tub was somewhat greenish, and the surfaces were on the slimy side. My son got in, then jumped right back out again. Seeing this, my other son and I refrained from going in at all. I'm sure this was an unusual oversight, since comments in the guest book from many other guests indicate they enjoyed the hot tub immensely. Perhaps I am too fussy about such things, but I also noticed when showering that the plastic shower curtain seemed slimy. I think, likely, the people who clean there were simply not aware that this is something that must be taken care of. Hopefully, this comment will provide the needed information. Another very minor factor is I could find no sweetener for the otherwise excellent coffee that was provided. Again, I'm sure it was an unintentional oversight. In spite of these matters that I've mentioned, I highly recommend this location. It truly was very lovely, and I'm sure that the small matters that I mentioned will be fully and rapidly addressed. I feel confident of it, because you can in everything else see a great determination to make everything as perfect as is it can possibly be.
My family had the pleasure of staying at this house wonderful cabin! Nestled in the heart of the mountains, this cabin is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and the peaceful, secluded setting. The cabin itself was impeccably clean, well furnished, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rustic charm combined with modern amenities made it feel like the perfect home-away-from-home.
The location was ideal. Just far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel completely serene, yet close enough to local attractions and trails for easy access. Whether we were exploring the nearby trails or simply relaxing in the hot tub under the stars, the experience was nothing short of magical.
Our host, Mike, was exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. He was quick to respond to any questions and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area.
If you're looking for a peaceful, mountain getaway with all the comforts of home, this cabin is an absolute must. We can't wait to come back!
