This lovely and spacious villa comfortably sleeps up to 8 (+ up to 2 infants in cots) people in 4 air conditioned bedrooms comprising of :- Master bedroom with emperor sized handmade teak four poster bed, private balcony, en suite bathroom. Queen sized bedroom with private balcony and en suite bathroom. Further Queen sized bedroom and one bedroom with two single beds. House bathroom. The villa also features a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave,coffee maker and other small appliances. The living room has three comfortable sofas, cable tv and radio. There is also a selection of playing cards, board games and books.

The spacious dining area has a large table that comfortably accommodates eight people. There are ceiling fans in both the living and dining room areas. There is also a small downstairs powder room. Double patio doors lead out onto a spacious shady patio area. The kidney shaped swimming pool is accessed through a latched gate to ensure peace of mind to those guests staying with young children. The villa is also equipped with a washer and tumble dryer. Bathroom towels are also provided.

The villa is conveniently situated just five minutes away from a well stocked supermarket and is only five minutes drive to Mount Irvine the nearest beach and golf club. The villa is protected by an internal alarm system and eclectic gates.

A great time was had by all of us

The villa is in a good location and all the shared spaces are large and airy so we never felt on top of each other. The pool and terrace is also of a generous size. We found the local manager to be very helpful and flexible and a delight to meet. She checked to make sure we were ok from time to time during our stay and when we had an issue she responded quickly. Dealing with the owner was also very easy and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We would definitely come back.

Most beautiful property

We are just at the airport after 2 weeks at Ginger lilies villa. This place is just as stunning as it looks in the pictures. From the bedroom balcony you can see the sea from all directions. I would advise car hire although the taxis are fairly cheap and very reliable. A shop,bar and Chinese takeaway are all within. Walking distance. The housekeeper Gloria was very helpful and looked after us. You will not regret coming here . Marcia x

A perfect base

'Ginger Lillies' is a wonderfully spacious and comfortable house; it made a perfect base from which to attend a family wedding and also to explore this beautiful island. Our time was too short - but many thanks to Anea-Jayne, Gloria and Mr James for all their attentions to ensuring that we had a good time.

Lovely home, lovely people

Ginger Lilies is a roomy, comfortable home with every amenity you would need for a relaxing and pleasant vacation. You can pack lightly (with just a carry-on) because a washer and dryer are available on-site for your use. The caretakers, Gloria and James, were so helpful. We sent a grocery list to Gloria and everything was waiting for us when we arrived. Our party (4 people) chose not to rent a car, but it wasn't an impediment because James was usually available to pick us up and take us anywhere for a reasonable fee. There isn't a beach within easy walking distance, but at least 4 or 5 are just a short drive away. There is a grocery store a 5 minute walk away at the bottom of the hill, and a restaurant 2 minutes past there. The neighborhood is safe, but bring insect repellent - you might be accosted by mosquitoes. The Tobago people were so friendly and welcoming - probably nicer than anywhere else I can remember. It was an excellent trip for us and a superlative value.

Wonderful break in Tobago at Ginger Lillies Villa-HomeAway from home!

Our short stay at Ginger Lillies Villa was very relaxing and comfortable- a veritable home away from home. The villa is beautifully appointed in lovely surroundings in a very quiet and safe suburb. We were made very welcome by the caretaker Mr. James and his wife Gloria. I would not hesitate to return to this lovely home for another holiday in Tobago and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a lovely holiday in Tobago. Thank you Anea Jayne Kearl for enabling us to have a great holiday in your pretty home.

Wonderful!

This is a beautiful and spacious house in an excellent location, set back from the main road and thus away from busy areas, but with a very well stocked supermarket a short walk away and great access to wonderful and quiet beaches. The house catches the breeze and looks out to the Caribbean, with great views of Trinidad on a clear day. The house is very well maintained and beautifully appointed with very stylish and comfortable furniture. A real bonus is the large veranda with outside sofa and chairs that makes for wonderful shade and breeze. There is also a large teak table and chairs for outside dining in addition to the inside dining table and chairs. The lovely and very well maintained swimming pool catches the sun for most of the day. The patio drains well in any rain (and not into the pool as we have encountered elsewhere!) The gardens are well maintained and established. The couple who manage the house are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We felt really at home and have been fortunate to visit several times already.

Amazing and wonderful

My family and I recently returned from our stay at Ginger Lilies Villa, our stay was amazing. The Villa is exactly as the photos. The house was clean and equipped with everything for our stay and convenience. The house is located in a quiet area with adequate privacy and security. The pool and surrounding areas are clean and well kept. The kitchen is equipped with all the amenities of your home. Mr. James and his wife meet us on our arrival. They were very friendly and warm during our stay at the Villa making us feel at home. We had a wonderful stay at this Villa. We will be returning and I will recommend this accommodation to our friends and family. Anea responded to correspondence in a timely manner and the booking arrangements were handled professionally and easily. Thank you for making our Christmas 2016 a memorable one.

Attractive, comfortable home with delightful pool

I recently returned from a wonderful stay at Ginger Lilies. All our arrangements ran smoothly. The property manager, Mr James met us at the airport to take us the short journey to the house. Ginger Lilies is an attractive and most comfortable home. It is clear that a great deal of thought has gone into the decor and choice of furnishings. All the rooms are spacious and airy and it was great to have the benefit of air conditioning if we needed it. The large kitchen is well equipped for self catering. We appreciated the many home comforts such as internet access and cable TV. Outside, the lovely pool and terrace are surrounded by lush, well maintained gardens. When we were not floating around in the pool we really enjoyed relaxing on the shady veranda. Everything was very clean and well kept - the property managers, Mr James and his lovely wife Gloria clearly take a lot of pride in the house and offer a warm welcome to visitors. They could not have been more helpful. The house is in a quiet residential area and it was very handy to have a well stocked small supermarket a short walk away down the hill. This was my first visit to Tobago and I loved this beautiful island. We had a car and went out each day to a different beach, some very close, some further away but all idyllic. We had a wonderful time at Ginger Lilies and I can certainly recommend this house without hesitation. Thank you Anea Jayne for sharing your beautiful home.

Stunning villa with superb pool

My husband and I have just had the most wonderful 3 week holiday at Ginger Lilies. Booking the house with the owner, Anea, was a breeze and she was extremely helpful and patient with any queries we had before we went. We received a very friendly welcome at the airport from the manager, Mr. James, who then drove us on the short journey to the house where we met his lovely wife Gloria. They did everything they could during our stay to make our holiday perfect. The house was immaculate and the pool was fabulous. We hired a car from Mr. James and he took us on a tour of the island so we could get our bearings and discover the best beaches and the best place to eat Lobster! He also introduced us to the charming Captain Power who took us on a boat trip to Buccoo reef where we snorkelled and nylon pool where we drank rum punch in the crystal clear ocean. The temperature was always about 30 degrees, but there was a constant breeze at the house making it always pleasant to relax on the terrace. If you do need to cool off further there is air conditioning in the bedrooms. The birds may wake you in the morning, but this is a small price to pay for staying at such a beautiful holiday location. There is also a well stocked supermarket within walking distance where we were even able to change money at a better rate than we received in England. If you want luxurious accomodation in Tobago within easy reach of excellent beaches, then we would highly recommend booking Ginger Lilies.

Great place to stay

I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent at Ginger lilies recently. From the start Anea was very helpful with the booking process and was very gracious when two last minute additions were made to my guest list. The villa itself is simply beautiful, spacious, airy and immaculately maintained. James and Gloria the property managers were very friendly and helpful. I intend to visit again and would highly recommend.

Amazing place to enjoy Tobago

We stayed at Ginger Lilies for a few days in 2013. This was my family's first vacation together and we couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. Anea was very helpful and responsive to any questions I had prior to our arrival date. The house is beautiful and well kept. It isn't beachfront property but the views of the rainforest from the balconies is beautiful enough, though you will need to rent a car or hire a taxi to explore Tobago's beaches. The small grocery located down the road is a great added convenience. I will definitely stay here again and hope to revisit next year. I highly recommend Ginger Lilies as a wonderful Tobago retreat.

Fabulous house, garden, pool and views!

Ginger Lilies is an impressive and very well appointed villa and we felt very safe in this quiet residential area. The first of the many assets to praise are the house managers Mr James and Gloria. They are welcoming and extremely resourceful, full of local knowledge. They take care of the property with evident pride. The house is in an excellent location with some of the best beaches on the island within easy reach; close to all amenities but away from the hustle of Crown Point. Situated on top of a hill you can catch the tropical breeze beautifully both in the house with the windows and louvres, and outside on the spacious veranda that gives plentiful shade all day long. Having stayed many times in the Lowlands and Bon Accord this was a real wow in comparison as you enjoy the views towards the Caribbean and Trinidad which is clearly visible. The house is tastefully furnished in a sympathetic, comfortable Caribbean style, with art work by local artists. There is generous comfortable seating and dining in style. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped for self catering. The wraparound veranda has a great range of cushioned outside seating. We loved sitting in the corner in the evening to catch the breeze after watching spectacular sunsets; a great place for cocktails and liming. There are ample cushioned sun loungers. The pool is in the sun all day, accessible for all ages, very well maintained by Mr James and well designed for rain water to run off into the garden rather than back into the pool, as we have on occasion experienced elsewhere. The garden is very well designed and beautifully kept, giving an excellent balance between privacy and views; the flowers and shrubs attract hummingbirds and butterflies. If you are there on the day the gardeners visit and offer them refreshment you may be reciprocated with coconut water fresh from the tree. In our opinion the delights of Tobago are best enjoyed if you travel round and take in the scenery. This house is in an excellent location for touring and very close to Buccoo with its reef and Sunday School. Visitors should not be put off by the fact the house is not directly on the beach - you get much more house for your money, great views and breeze, with a well stocked supermarket 5 minutes' walk away. We have visited the island many times and this is the best place we have stayed. In conclusion, we are already booked for next year and very much looking forward to it.

Best tobago trip ever

I stayed at ginger lillies with my family to celebrate by birthday. The place was exactly like the photos, tropical and cute. All the utensils were very cute and matched the theme of the place. I loved the decor and ask the flowers around. Gloria was very helpful and accommodated us well. The beds were comfy. I will surely stay here again. It had eveything we needed such as kitchen utensils, a cooler to go to the beach, etc.The house was very spacious everywhere. It was a dream vacation!

Great family stay

We absolutely loved our three night stay at Ginger Lilies! Anea and Gloria were very nice and responsive, and did everything to make our trip as enjoyable as possible. We were also treated with welcome goodies for the kids (1.5 and 3.5 years old). The villa was very beautiful and spacious, and the pool was a hit with our young ones. In fact one of the main reasons we chose this rental was the presence of a latched gate on the large back porch to prevent the kids from running to the pool unsupervised. As others have mentioned, the villa is very close to a supermarket and food outlets. It is also not too far from the airport and the Pigeon Point /Store Bay beaches where we spent most of our days when not at the house. When we didn't feel like exploring, we simply stayed put and enjoyed the quiet, breezy, lush retreat that Ginger Lilies provided. We would definitely stay here again!

The perfect vacation home

This house is fully equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing vacation. It’s beautifully decorated, inside and outside. It’s within close proximity to restaurants and grocery stores and most importantly beaches making it the ideal place to stay. I felt safe and secure at all times and will definitely be staying here during my next trip to Tobago!

Just as good as last time - in other words, great!

This is our second time to stay at GInger Lilies Villa, and the fact that we chose to return when there are lots of places we could have stayed says it all. It's such a relaxing place - clean, well furnished, very quiet. It's just a short ride from the airport. There are grocery shops nearby, and the kitchen is well equipped. Buccoo and its quiet beach is only a few minutes drive away. If you just want to relax you can just lounge by the pool or on the shaded cool veranda. We were, as before, well taken care of by Gloria and Mr. James. In particular Mr. James went out of his way to make sure we got our money changed when the TT government issued new hundred dollar notes and then made it very difficult to chnage old notes for new - without his help we stood to lose quite a lot of money. Would we stay there again? Of course.

A lovely house and convenient location for all your Tobago adventures

We rented this property for a 3-day Tobago getaway. The children in the party loved the pool, where the adults could relax and watch over them from the veranda. The kitchen and bedrooms were spacious. The added bonus is working with Anea, the property owner, who went above and beyond in helping us through a technical issue with VRBO. The property managers were delightful too. Definitely the best hospitality I’ve experienced in a vacation rental.

wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Die Villa entspricht in allen Bereichen denen der Beschreibung bzw. der Fotos. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder und es hat allen sehr gut gefallen. Der Pool hat eine angenehme Größe und eignete sich vor allem für die Kinder für die schnelle Erfrischung zwischendurch. Der Kontakt zur Besitzerin war unkompliziert und auch der Kontakt zum Hausmeisterpärchen über Whats-App möglich, so dass einem hohe Telefonkosten (Auslandsgespräche) erspart blieben. Die Haushälterin hat für uns einen kleinen Einkauf vorab erledigt, so dass auch der Kühlschrank mit dem Notwendigsten für das erste Frühstück gefüllt war. Grundsätzlich empfiehlt es sich jedoch aufgrund der Lage etwas außerhalb einen Mietwagen zu nehmen. Der Linksverkehr ist zwar gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber die Taxikosten zum Strand / Pigeon Point / Flughafen sind Verhandlungssache und lagen bei uns (Großraumtaxi/Tageszeit) zwischen 120 - 160TT$ (7TT$=1€). Ein Supermarkt und auch ein Restaurant sind jedoch in Laufweite.

You can't go wrong with Ginger Lilies

My entire experience leading up to and including my stay and Ginger Lilies was great. Anea was very good about responding to my messages. She is very professional, courteous and understanding. I include understanding because my family and I had an issue with our flight being delayed by a few hours and at the last minute she was willing to extend our accommodation. Gloria and Mr. James, the property managers helped in making that happen as well because they had to be there for check out, so I was very grateful to them for working with us as well. They are very nice people, very friendly and great to work with. The house itself was very clean, beautiful and had everything we needed. Having that nice sized pool was definitely a plus. Accessibility wise, it's very close to the airport, beautiful beaches and grocery stores. I couldn't ask for a better location. I will definitely be staying here again. Anea and her team are great people!

Great vacation!

This was our second time staying at Gingerlilies villa and it and was just as great as the first time. Lovely house, very spacious, in door and out door areas. Very quiet and private. Lots of trees and plants well manicured surroundings. The place was clean, bedrooms well appointed. Nice pool, convenient for liming with porch seating near by. The house keepers James and Gloria were also very pleasant and helpful as usual. I would definitely be back again with my family.
