Cozy Beach Cottage. Great lake views. Lake access! Sleeps 6 efficiently.
Beautiful, private little beach cottage across the street from the lake. Awesome lake views from the living room and bedroom. Watch the pelicans swim this area all day and night! Full public access and park directly across the street. Toss a fishing line in the water and see if you can catch a big walleye. Enjoy a day at King's Pointe Waterpark or on the bike path riding along the shores of Storm Lake. Space in the yard for a tent or two if you want even more space. Queen bed in the bedroom, queen pullout in the entry and another in the living room, sleep 6. One additional couch could sleep another. There is an eat-in kitchen that seats 3 and a good sized living room. This is suitable for 6 if you plan to spend time outdoors or doing activities, not all staying in the house during the day.

We enjoyed our stay in Storm Lake even though the weather was temperamental. Cold & stormy for most of our stay but the house we stayed in was cozy & inviting. We lost power due to a storm coming through but it was restored fairly quickly. I appreciated Angie’s quick responses & helpfulness. The homemade banana bread was such a nice touch when we arrived. I would definitely stay there if we ever come through Storm Lake again
Check in was easy. I did have to ask the host about the code once but it was a me problem not holding the knob right. She was quick to respond and troubleshoot. Location is lovely and the space worked well for our stay. The kitchen was well supplied, the internet worked great, and the bed was comfy.
We didn't spend too much time at the property, since we were there visiting family. The furnace was constantly kicking on and off and it was quite loud. The bathroom could of been cleaner. Whiskers around the sink and in the tub. And some other cleanlines things I won't get in to.
So glad to have a place close to campus that could accommodate our needs. It was nice to be within walking distance of campus so we did not have to find parking for the game and to visit my kids. The price was right and the view of the lake was lovely. Having a washer/dryer ended up being necessary. The banana bread was lovely touch and much appreciated. Thank you for being our the accommodations!
We stayed at this property during a 1 day family gathering in Storm Lake. The property was extremely clean and has a wonderful view out the living room windows. During our stay the temperature was over 90 and our only issue of note is that the older air handler cooled the home but made a tremendously loud sound while cooling and sleeping well was difficult. Loved the Storm Lake area!!
We stayed at the cottage while visiting family. It was conveniently located. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable with a great view of the lake.
What a fun little lake cottage! Right across from Storm Lake and close to town. We were only there overnight but thoroughly enjoyed it! The kitchen was well stocked, spacious bathroom and comfortable bed! We were graced with yummy homemade cookies! Wish we could have spent more time there! Very gracious and responsive host!
We wanted to get away for a few days and choose this place. My husband likes to fish and he was happy with his fishing from shore. Angie the owner was very accomodating. Even left cookies off for us!
Clean comfortable. Easy access. Quiet neighborhood. We stayed five nights. Enjoyed the view of the lake. Visiting friends and relatives around the area. Hunted through our favorite antique stores. Our host was wonderful greeting us with home baked goodies. Would definitely like to stay again.
The house was very clean and the location was very good. We enjoyed the stay even though it rained. Would stay again.

We are Storm Lake natives and enjoy our community. We love welcoming newcomers and visitors to our town and showing them the best we have to offer. We love to travel and appreciate gracious hosts who accommodate our needs. This little house is such a gem, being the only one on the whole block it feels like you have your own private lake!
Why they chose this property
We love the quietness of this area, we enjoy the pelicans and occasionally swans swimming and eating outside the windows. It's so fun to watch the walkers, cyclist and dog-walkers stroll past along the lake.
What makes this property unique
Small house but efficient use of space with 3 different sleeping areas. Love the location and the views and access to the water!
