Lovely short break

We're just just back from a wonderful short break at the barn. The property is a really good size, plenty of space for the 4 of us. The barn is clean and well furnished, we really enjoyed settling down in the evening with the log burner on.

Amazing peaceful and stylish

This converted barn in Faldingham is situated in the most beautiful peaceful grounds. The accommodation is very welcoming and extremely stylish with everything you could want and more. The host Anne was most helpful and a very generous welcome pack was waiting for us. The rooms were spotless and we are already planning our return

New Year 2024

We were a group of 6 adults and 4 dogs with an age range of 60 -82. The house is perfect if you have mobility issues. The location is perfect if you have dogs and the house had everything we required for cooking. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you

Amazing place!

My husband and I wanted a relaxing weekend away and this property was the perfect place! It was so quiet and peaceful. Located on the beautiful grounds of the owners property, you can also go for a lovely walk should you wish. The barn was lovely and clean, you can see that great care has been taken to make this place as inviting as it is. The log burner was an added bonus and made the large open living area lovely and cosy! There was even some little treats (as well as essentials) on our arrival. Thank you Anne and Mike for our wonderful stay, we will definitely be back.

We have just spent 2 nights at the barn. The rooms are extremely spacious and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us which included 4 adults and two children. One bedroom had an en-suite bathroom with fabulous shower and the other two bedrooms shared a bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need and if you want to use the bbq it’s right outside the door. We went to the Italian restaurant in town which I can recommend. There are a couple of bakers, a butchers plus a large co-op and Tesco Express in Fordingbridge and also a couple of pubs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Winter break for a late Christmas

We stayed in this lovely barn to have a very belated Christmas with friends who live nearby. The barn is very comfortable, warm and cozy. However the kitchen does not do the rest of the property justice. It is dated with a worn cooker and a tiny built-in fridge that is in poor condition. One tea bag and no sugar, not promised but after a long drive it was lucky we had our own. Biscuits and croissants were left though and were lovely. The grounds are run down and we saw no play equipment - however that could be seasonal?A main gripe is that stating that dogs are welcome, on arrival we found that dogs should not be in the bedrooms. Our 16 yr old has always slept in ours and as he doesn’t see or hear well he wasn’t about to be abandoned in a strange place! He slept on his bedding in my room. This needs to be changed in the main description. We cleaned even though there is a cleaning charge and a charge for dogs.As lovely as the property and surrounds are I doubt we’ll be back.
