About this property

Our new and modern Ocean Front two bedroom apartment which is also located directly in front of a national park and a estuary. The suite is well appointed with a comfortable open floor plan kitchen/living area offering a well equipped kitchen with casual seating at the granite countertop. The rooms are beautifully furnished and finished in coral stone. The sitting area leads out to the covered patio which offers outdoor dining and lounge chairs for relaxing while looking out to the beautiful ocean and the kite surf action on Silver Sands beach in the winter months. We are one minute from the De Action windsurf shop and a few minutes from Oistins and St Lawrence Gap which are known for their vibrant night life.

Beautiful Apartment!

This property is one you should not miss !Cheron thinks of everything to make your stay enjoyable…. It is a beautifully presented apartment with two large bedrooms, and the fittings are all first class !Only 2 minutes walk to the beach to watch the kite surfing and a 3/4 minute walk to take the bus into Oistins or Bridgetown….. Cheron will also make you delicious food to order which you can eat on the terrace overlooking the nature reserve and beach . Paradise!

Cheron and Walwen, the owners of Coconut walk apartments are two of the most amazing people you will ever have the chance to meet! From the first moment of booking the beautiful apartment, they made us feel like we are family and not clients! Up until this holiday my wife and I always played safe and went into a resort, we decided to try something different in beautiful Barbados and we found Coconut walk apartment. The apartment is wonderful and more than worthy of any 5 stars, the location is in a very beautiful and quiet part of Barbados with a beautiful beach just metres from your front door. Im not sure i can articulate many words to describe how wonderful Cheron and Walwen, your every need is catered for, if you have a problem, they go out of their way to help solve it. Their aim is to make sure you have an experience of a life time, and believe me, that is what you have. Thank you Cheron and thank you Walwen for making our stay with you the best experience we have had yet on an overseas holiday! We will be back and back again after that, this we promise as we have now found our paradise!

Wonderful host who couldn’t help enough. Clean and high quality apartment. Big kitchen. Location is a little far out from Bridgetown and a car is a must. There is a good surf bar in walking distance. No supermarket within walking distance.

Home from home

Well what can we say ! FANTASTIC, Cheron and Walwen are the perfect hosts, we stayed at Coconut Walk for 4 weeks the location and the apartment are ideal with the beach 1 minute walk away, Cheron is always on hand to help with any questions. We did hire a car and it was delivered to the apartment, we can’t thank Cheron enough for all she done for us and we hope to return in the future, if you are looking for a home from home this is it. Just what we needed and what a view

After a busy holiday, for our final three days we chose this area mainly for its proximity to the airport but the property offers perfect relaxation and a beautiful, quiet beach two minutes walk away. It is well equipped with extra touches that we would not necessarily have expected. Cheron was so welcoming and helpful, we would not hesitate to recommend Coconut Walk Apartment.

Coconut Walk Apartment

When we arrived we were welcomed by the lovely Cheron, the apartment was beautifully furnished with everything we needed for our short stay, the kitchen was a pleasure with excellent fixtures which we used every night as we had eaten out a lot on the west coast. We appreciated the chilled Rum Punch left in the fridge. The location was perfect, nice and quiet with a view of the sea and beach from the lounge and balcony. Cheron was always available to answer any questions we had and nothing was a problem. We would love to return for a longer stay next time.

Barbados Home from Home

We are very fortunate to have spent 6 weeks in beautiful Barbados in this great apartment and location that we felt was home away from home. Walwen and Cheron are the perfect hosts, from arrival to departure they made our stay extra special. We cannot believe our good fortune in not only finding such a beautiful home to live in but to share our time in Barbados with two amazing people. They were both there to meet our every needs. During our stay we ordered food from Cheron which didn't disappoint! it was truly amazing and we would thoroughly recommend ordering food from her during your stay. Silver Sands is a quiet location but it was perfect, it was very easy to travel to the rest of the island even on local transport which we loved. We did hire a car for a few weeks but enjoyed the days we travelled on the local transport. When we return to Barbados we will definately chose to stay here again. Both Walwen and Cheron work tirelessly and go above and beyond to ensure their guests have the best service and experience. Thank you both for making our trip extra special! We will return! Beautifully kept apartment

Cheron and Walwen are very welcoming and obviously take great pride in their lovely apartment. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There are some great views of the sea from the balcony and we enjoyed many beach walks at sunrise and sunset. The air conditioning is excellent and beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Overall a lovely stay. Many thanks to you both.

Just what the doctor ordered

A short 3 nights with the wonderful Cheron. A great host in a great apartment. Wonderful view of the sea, beach and park area. Really enjoyed the early mornings on the balcony drinking coffee waiting for the world to wake up, as I was up early due to time differences. Great beds, great shower, great for the family . Will return.

Beautiful Apartment and Wonderful Hosts

The apartment was immaculately presented on arrival and is even more attractive than the photographs. The balcony is a very pleasant spot to relax, enjoy the sea air and watch kite surfers. The bedrooms are roomy with plenty of storage and the beds very comfortable. All the facilities you could wish for are provided. The hosts, Cheron and Walwen, constantly went that 'extra mile' to look after us and we had a wonderful holiday. We shall now book for next year.

Perfect barbados escape

I had the best time staying at Coconut Walk. Let me start with the property itself, which is outstanding and the best apartment I have stayed in for a long time. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need to feel at home. The bed was extremely comfy and perfect after a long days surfing. The location is ideal, overlooking a beautiful beach and with easy access to oistins, st Lawrence and the east coast. Surfers bar just around the corner is a great hang out. Barbados itself needs no introduction - the weather is great, the water is crystal clear and the people are extremely warm. Coconut walk is one of the best places to explore the island from. You will not find a better location or property, especially for the price, on the whole island. Last but not least, thank you to Cheron who is the most wonderful host and made my stay even more memorable. Cheron always went out of her way to make me feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I will recommend this property to my family and friends and will be back to stay again soon!

Great stay and lovely hosts - thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Coconut Walk, the apartment was beautiful, just as shown in the photos, and was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Cheron had made a rum punch for us on our arrival which was a nice touch and was much appreciated! The furnishings in the apartment, the kitchen and the shower were modern and lovely quality and everything was very well-maintained. The beach was a minute's walk away, and is perfect for wind-surfing, kite-surfing etc as there is more wind on the South Coast and a constant cooling breeze. The apartment does have air-conditioning, which is needed as it does get very warm - it is provided free in the bedroom, and air-conditioning is available for the main living area for an additional daily fee. We chose just to open the windows, of which there are many, although at times it was still very warm as although the beach was really breezy, the apartment is set back a little from the beach and was a little more sheltered. A stand-up fan is available in the frontroom though, so that helped to keep us cool. We spent a few days at Silver Sands beach but as we are not surfers, we took the opportunity to explore some other beaches including Accra, Hastings on the South and then another day we went to Crane Beach on the East coast - all of which were beautiful. The transport links are fantastic and the number 11 was very frequent, often two or three arrived in unison and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for a bus. At $2BBD a journey it was fantastic value, and quite an experience - we loved the experience and listening to various styles of music. There is a handy shop a few minutes around the corner, and a local bar a minutes walk away. Cheron & Walwen were lovely hosts and always on hand if we needed anything, and we would have no hesitation to recommend them. Their apartment is near an award-winning beach for kite and wind-surfing, so would be especially ideal for those who love beach activities.

Absolutely Perfet

From start to finish our stay at Coconut Walk was everything we could have asked for. The apartment itself is gorgeous with everything you could need with the bonus of a great sea view. There are buses nearby and a well stocked local store. Cheron was always at hand if needed or even just for a chat. We had never stayed in the Silver Sands area of Barbados before and it has now become a firm favourite. This apartment and Cheron make you feel at home and we will definitely stay here again.

Our stay at this beachfront apartment in Barbados was absolutely amazing! The view was breathtaking, the space was clean and comfortable, and every detailed made us feel right at home. The host was incredible kind, attentive, and welcoming. The host thought of everything - from sunscreen and moisturizer to delicious cooking and refreshing rum punch upon arrival. The shower felt like a spa experience, and waking up to the sound of the was waves was pure bliss. This wasn't just a stay - it was heartfelt welcome to paradise. Barbados, we will come back and stay at this apartment again for sure.

The best vacation we had

Our host Cheron truly understands the essence of hospitality. Although we stayed for just one night, she ensured that we had everything we could possibly need, even going so far as to bring us groceries for breakfast. The apartment is tastefully decorated and is perfectly equipped for an extended stay, featuring all the modern conveniences one could desire. An experience to remember!

We stayed at Cheron and Walwens place for 9 days during our honeymoon. It was the best experience we have ever had at a VRBO. Communication and check in with Cheron was easy. The place was immaculate, comfortable and right across the street from the beach. Cheron welcomed us with delicious rum punch and fresh cut plants from her beautiful garden. Cheron kept in touch the entire time and would routinely update us on WhatsApp where to go during the day and also places to park if going into town. As others have mentioned it’s a bit outside the touristy areas but we actually enjoyed that aspect. We rented a car and had no problem getting to any of the activities we had planned and it was nice to come home to a quiet place outside the hustle and bustle. We are already missing drinking coffee on the balcony and watching the sunrise over the ocean. We can’t wait to come back!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in Strandnähe, ruhige Lage

Wir waren im November 2024 in der sehr schön eingerichteten Ferienwohnung. Vom Balkon hatten wir einen traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer. Die Bilder des Vermieters sind sehr aussagekräftig, sie vermittelten uns vorab einen sehr guten Eindruck von dem Objekt und sie haben sich bestätigt. Die Vermieterin, Cheron, wohnt im gleichen Haus. Sie ist sehr bemüht und kümmert sich um ihre Gäste. Das Angebot hält was es verspricht, wer die Beschreibung genau liest, wird keine Überraschungen erleben. 15th Anniversary celebrated in Paradise!

Beautiful clean and well-equipped, luxurious apartment on top level of the house in the wonderful location of Silver Sands, close to the town of Oistins. Large bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a very large wardrobe with plenty of hanging room as well as drawers. Bathroom has great shower. Amazing view of the ocean (only about 150 feet away ) from the bedroom and living room windows and from the spacious balcony with table and chairs. The hostess, Cheron was amazing! On top of being warm, friendly, and helpful, she had thought of everything and more. She went above and beyond, to ensure we had the most enjoyable and memorable 15th Wedding anniversary, by arranging lots of extra fun surprises when we went to restaurants and other events recommended by her! We have been to many VRBO’s during the last few years and this has been our best experience by far, due to all her personal touches! We will definitely be returning in the near future! We would highly recommend this vacation experience!
