Stay a stone's throw away from it all at 505A King Charles Avenue in South Rehoboth Beach! Sitting at the cross of Hickman Street and King Charles Avenue, this vacation rental is just over one block from the beach and boardwalk, and Rehoboth Avenue is only a few blocks to the north. 505A King Charles has two-stories, but guests have the option of single-level living with two bedrooms and a full bath on the first floor. Guests can also find the living room and kitchen on the first floor. Off the kitchen is an enclosed porch, providing an outdoor space to enjoy after a day on the beach. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and a half bath. This unit is non-smoking, and pets are not permitted. Rental has off-street parking for three cars.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $223.00.

Great location, not the cleanest

Great location, and easy access to the beach and main streets. However the kitchen was full of fruit flies, and the outside trash cans/recycle bins were full when we arrived. The whole house is in need of a thorough cleaning and was generally dirty. There were dust bunnies under the beds, and the floors turned our feet dark because they weren't clean. The bed comforters are too small and don't even fit the beds. Probably won't stay here again.

Great beach trip

Rented for a long weekend beach trip with my partner and some friends. Everything was clean and in good shape, there was plenty of space for all of us, the area was nice and quiet and a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. Would definitely stay here again.

Vacation

The cottage was in a great location for young kids and walking distance to everything. We enjoyed our stay but it did have ants in the kitchen and around our food on the counters and inside cabinets. The front door lock also does not work that great and was very hard to get the key to unlock it. The deadbolt was easy to lock and unlock though.

Exceeded Expectations!

This property exceeded my groups expectations. The location is prime and allowed easy access to the surrounding area. The house was clean and all of the appliances worked well. Contact with the realtor was easy and timely, which made the stay much easier and more enjoyable. There was more than enough room for all of my friends to enjoy a great vacation. Thanks!

Fabulous Fourth +

We found this house a perfect antidote to “real life” and a great escape for our extended group. Could not be in a better location. The walk is easy in either direction, even carrying chairs and beach supplies for 6 adults each day. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the outside shower was a huge hit!! We lucked out timing wise and could see the Dewey fireworks on the 4th and Rehoboth's’ on the 6th from the house/porch and the closest beach. The house is exactly as described, room for everyone. The porches were wonderful to relax on and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. A quick question was answered so quickly by email, we were impressed. We will be back again! Thank you!

Vrbo rental fell below basic standards

Here are the issues we encountered: 1. Security Concerns: The key did not work with backdoor, only the front, compromising our safety and peace of mind throughout our stay. This was particularly concerning given the importance of security in any accommodation. 2. Poor Maintenance: The house itself smelled bad, it was visibly old and poorly maintained. It was evident that upkeep and cleanliness were not a priority. 3. Hot Water Issues: One of the most frustrating problems was the inability to regulate the water temperature in the shower. We could only access scalding hot water, making it impossible to shower comfortably or safely. There was no cold water. These issues significantly impacted our experience and comfort during our stay. We expected a basic level of functionality and cleanliness, which unfortunately were not met. We hope this feedback helps improve the quality of accommodations listed on Vrbo, ensuring future guests have a better experience.
