Luxury 6 bedroom modern villa with private pool and stunning sea views

Villa Laranja is an exceptional, modern villa with stunning sea views in the beautiful family resort of Praia da Luz. It has the luxury of being approximately a 15 minute walk (or 5 minute drive) from the beach and the town's many bars and restaurants. However, the villa still retains a high degree of privacy by being situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac. Situated on the ground floor is the fully fitted kitchen (brand new installed 2025). This leads through to the stunning circular dining room which flows into the spacious, open and well appointed lounge. Two sets of large French doors open up onto the terrace and private pool area offering wonderful views of the town and coastline. The lounge has three large leather sofas, 55” Smart TV, Apple TV, Freeview internet TV and PS3. A large DVD and Blu-Ray library is also on hand. There is also a real log burning stove should the evenings get chilly! The villa and private pool have fabulous sea views and there is a permanent brick-built BBQ. The pool has steps suitable for kids. Pool dimensions are 4.1m x 9.5m.

About Villa Laranja: This is an ideal luxury base for any group of golfers and non- golfers alike as it can accommodate up to 15 adults, has outstanding sea views and is within close proximity to both Praia da Luz & the lovely fishing village of Burgau for great restaurants, bars, etc. The beautiful old town of Lagos is also very close.

For special occasions we can organise champagne, birthday cakes, spa days at the villa - you name it and we can try to help.

Excellent stay

Excellent stay in gorgeous villa in Luz. Incredibly well equipped kitchen and plenty of space for a large group of adults. Each room with ensuite bathroom which was excellent. Cannot fault Richard and Karen as hosts; communication was faultless from booking to departure. Photos don’t do the villa justice, prime hillside location with incredible sea views from the terrace.

Superb villa FAB family holiday

Villa has a great layout, spacious and comfortable for a large party. There were 14 of us! Kitchen was well equipped advise more unbreakable glasses & crockery for use outside. Plenty of sunloungers, shade and large dining area made outdoor living comfortable. Perfect area to explore our favourite areas on the western algarve.

Villa for large family

The villa was very spacious inside and extremely well equipped. The pool was a good size and there were plenty of sun loungers around the pool.

Good for large parties

Overall a good villa for large parties. The villa could do with some tlc. We had no welcome pack not even any toilet paper, which is very poor, for the amount we paid. The sky subscription ran out during stay, reported but not sorted. Also the floor of swimming pool very rough, all the children have cuts on their feet. In the house book of rules, you are asked to keep house clean and tidy, we didn’t even have any kitchen spray and the Dyson in charge in the kitchen was missing the main part, so unable to hoover.

Fantastic

Beautiful villa with absolutely stunning sea views. We were a group of 10, ranging in age from 28-60, and we all loved the villa and Luz itself. We also had 2 dogs with us and it worked perfectly for them too as the garden is secure. Yes it’s a hike up the hill from the town but the pay off is the view from the villa, and the walk would not be a problem to anyone with reasonable mobility. A taxi if required is only €4-5. There is a great selection of restaurants and bars in the town and a couple of supermarkets between the villa and the beach. The town has more of a family/ couples vibe than a party town, and that suited us perfectly. Staff in the shops, bars and restaurants were all super friendly. The pool area is beautiful with lots of loungers/ seating and is immaculate All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the villa, Praia da Luz and the Algarve

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home

Our family group of 9 had a wonderful 2 week stay. The villa is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed the outdoor areas and the pool, and the beautiful views over the sea. The location is peaceful and quiet, with a short 10 minutes walk downhill into Luz. It was great also to have regular visits by staff to check the pool, garden maintenance and a full house clean and fresh linens after week 1. We'd have liked to have had a garlic press, some table place mats and a blender or food processor available, as we self-catered quite a bit. Overall a fantastic place for a large group to stay. Would highly recommend.

Perfect villa for 3-generation family holiday

The property was absolutely perfect for our family of 14, ranging from a 1 year old to a 77 year old. The rooms are spacious and well stocked with everything you might need for your holiday. Every room is en-suite which is a real bonus. The pool is a decent size for a villa pool and the children in our party spent hours each day in it. The view is fantastic and the balcony configuration is genius. There was great communication with the owners in the lead up to our stay and we had absolutely no problems whilst we were there. The walk to the beach/resort centre was a little too long for the oldest and youngest in our group especially the incline on the return journey, but fine for most. It is worth noting that there isn’t much in the way of shops/restaurants closer to the property than the resort centre. Overall we had a fantastic stay.

Fantastic place to stay for a week to catch up with pals. Great space indoor and outdoor with well stocked kitchen and bbq. It is quite a walk up from the beach / shop so you need a car or we used a lot of Ubers!!

Fabulous birthday celebrations

Had a stay to celebrate two big family birthdays. Fabulous property with excellent facilities. View was brilliant and lots of lovely places to walk with our dog. Lovely pool to swim in and lots of outdoor spaces to sit out in. Highly recommend this villa for large groups as there is plenty of space to have your own space and lots of parking area for several cars

Fabulous family find.

We had an amazing two weeks at the villa. Richard and Karen were very accommodating hosts. The villa has ample space for large families, it was immaculate and very well equipped. The sea views from the upstairs balconies were amazing. The pool being heated was a bonus.

An amazing holiday in a fantastic villa

After a delay of 2 years, we finally got to visit this amazing villa and it lived up to everything we hoped it would. The 3 generations of family that we had with us, all had a fantastic time. The rooms were great, the pool excellent, the views and surrounding area lovely. We had a couple of technical issues and the staff were on hand very quickly to sort this out. Would holiday here again And would recommend it to anyone who is looking for the perfect villa holiday in this beautiful area. Thank you

Lovely spacious house for quiet family holiday

Richard and Karen were very responsive and helpful to any queries and similarly the management company were quick to act when we thought we’d locked ourselves out of the house! The house was a great size for our extended family holiday (4 adults and 5 kids), very clean and all bedrooms very spacious with en suits Lots of outdoor space and sun loungers and great view. we had the pool heated which was perfect (even in August our party wouldn’t have coped with cold water!), good size although a bit of a squeeze when everyone was in it and the sides/floor are very rough in parts, resulting in most of us having scraped feet at some point The villa is at the top of a very steep hill from the town/beach, it was a great walk for the adults getting their steps in but be warned small children will likely moan…a lot Great supermarkets in town and some lovely little restaurants the owners recommended. Great watersports (inflatable sofas and kayaks were fab) and boat trips (RIB to see dolphins amazing) from the beach, again information provided in the welcome guide from the owners. Would happily return again, only real downside is the hike up the hill but not an issue if you’re aware

Great Villa

The place is huge and the pool a decent size. The kitchen has almost everything you could want and the shops are not far away at all. The beach is 15-20 minutes walk away (with bars and restaurants a bit closer). The villa is well maintained and the pool was regularly checked throughout the week. The owners were easy to communicate with a check in was straightforward. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful villa, great for families

We had a wonderful stay with the family. There are great facilities including a barbecue, a lovely pool and amazing views. It’s a short walk down the hill into town where there are nice restaurants and beach bars. The villa is close to the main route through the Algarve, so really well placed for exploring the area. We really enjoyed the holiday and would definitely recommend the villa.

Fabulous , spacious villa

Villa Laranja was the perfect base for our 3 generation family get together. It is very spacious, well equipped and spotless! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and all en suite. The pool was a hit for us all, especially the children, with the added bonus of inflatables! Netflix was an added bonus too! One suggestion we all agreed upon was a supply of throw overs for the leather sofas. We actually bought one as it is so difficult with young children and even adults as all wear sun cream. The walk into town is very pleasant,however the walk back uphill was another story,but taxis are very reasonable thankfully! Communication with the owners Karen and Richard was great and Paula from the management company was excellent! Online shopping from Baptista supermarket was simple and delivered with a smile! We had some lovely meals out and would recommend Aquario, Barrocca, A Fabrica and Paraiso on the beach. Back now to a wet and windy Ireland! Thank you all for a wonderful stay. We have recommended Villa Laranja already!

Fantastic villa,beautiful views on a quite location. The best equipped villa we have stayed in.

Very straight forward renal process and owners sorted out a slight problem in original booking dates very quickly. All communication with owners were answered promptly.
