Typical old Mallorcan style country house, recently restored, Villa Sa Corterada offers you the possibility to enjoy family or group vacations in a peaceful atmosphere in the northern part of Mallorca. Near Inca, it is well communicated with all the major places in Mallorca, especially with Alcudia and Pollença Bays. The proximity to a cycling route makes it perfect for bike lovers. A cosy Villa with a large and sunny living room, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, lounge with a gorgeous Mallorcan stair, four large double rooms and three bathrooms. On the second floor there are 3 spacious double rooms and a large bathroom. All the bedrooms have beautiful views and a lot of light. One of them has its own terrace. On the ground floor there's a double room with a large and sunny living room, kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Beautiful traditional villa.

The villa was typical of the area. Very spacious. Wi-Fi very speedy. We had a great stay. Pool was great and serviced several times. Weather was hot and humid no air con or fans on ceilings. We had standing fans, difficult to sleep with the noise. We had to keep the shutters closed at night as the mosquitoes were troublesome. It was a 10-15 min walk into selva which was lovely. Local bakery great.

Lovely spot

Very quiet peaceful spot with great views of mountains and only a short walk into Selva for bread or meals. Very narrow streets in Selva for driving so you might want to suss out your route on foot first or head in and out via Caimari.

Lovely place

We stayed for 4 weeks and enjoyed every day. We could stay at the villa and round the pool or access any area of the Island within an hour. The villa is really well located and within and easy(ish) 15 min walk of the local town. Toni the owner is great and friendly and helped make our stay brilliant.

Finca set in stunning countryside

All immensely enjoyed our stay at Sa Corterada. The views from the villa, terrace and pool are stunning - even better than the photos. Toni was super and was easily contactable if we needed anything but all was fine and immediately sorted a light bulb for us when he was round doing pool maintenance. He came and cleaned the pool every few days and as we were there a fortnight, gave us fresh bedding and towels halfway through our stay. We also really appreciated the welcome starter pack of food essentials. Toni really cared about making sure we would enjoy our holiday. We had a hire car and enjoyed exploring the beautiful island more. We hired a boat at Porto Cristo and also took the windy road to Port Soller - spectacular and then drove on to Deia and Valdemossa. We can also recommend going to a local market - the Saturday market in Alaro is well worth going to. A beautiful wee town and the market had a local feel rather than some of the bigger towns. Can recommend visiting Luq at the cheese stall - amazing Manchego. He was also at the Selva market. We took the train from Inca to Palma - better idea than trying to park there. Away from the crowd -Traditional Finca Sa Corterada in a stunning location

Nestled in the mountain range of Tramuntana which makes a stunning back drop for this gorgeous Finca away from the maddening crowds but close enough to civilisation if you want. The traditional village of Selva with its narrow streets cafe & a couple of restaurants set in the village square over looked by the beautiful Church. However the town of Inca is only 5km away. Sa Corterada was a traditional family farm which Toni has extended to make it a good size accommodation all double bedrooms and ample living space. An immaculate pool which is maintained regularly by Toni with space for sun beds. There is another elevated terrace which we sat to watch the sun go down - which we named the sun downer terrace to have a drink at the end of the day and watch the changes of colour on the mountain range was just beautiful! As the Finca is set in farming land you had all the sounds of cockerels, ducks,sheep with their bells tinkling in the back ground just made the whole experience just magical. With no street lights at night you had no light pollution so star gazing was special! Toni is a very attentive host and nothing is a problem he is always on hand if you need him, however we had all we needed. Toni has thought through the comfort of his guests the electricity is solar powered and if that fails he has a back up generator and the water is on local water however sometimes supply is limited again Toni has a second back up as he has a water storage system in place. How many other Owners would go to the additional,cost to ensure Guests have all the utilities they need. Toni we can't thank you enough for a wonderful stay at your gorgeous Finca Sa Corterada and you are a lovely person ! Carys Mike & Family

Fantastic villa in a peaceful location

The villa is located 15 minutes walk from Selva, so in a very peaceful location. The property is spacious and was large enough for our group of 10. The pool is fantastic and was cleaned regularly by Toni during our stay. The villa has everything you need and Toni is a wonderful host. (A car would probably be helpful for shopping and day trips, instead of relying on taxis and buses). We would love to return to Sa Corterada!

Beautiful private location

The house more than met our needs. We used it as a base for 6 cyclists, for which it is perfectly located. There is loads of space both inside and outside and the house could easily accommodate more guests. The facilities at the house were perfectly adequate for our needs and everything was clean and tidy on our arrival. We met the owner on our first day as our coach driver couldn't find the property (Google maps locates it perfectly). Toni was friendly and helpful and even stayed a while to clean the pool and make sure we had everything. The only negative about the house was the shower in the main bathroom (a fast dribble is more accurate) and we struggled to figure out the hot water. We never asked Toni for help so likely that we didn't understand the system as only random showers were cold. Located on the outskirts of Selva means a 5 minute walk to the town, some uphill. The town is a maze of narrow streets but small enough to figure it out quickly. Shops etc are limited bit then Inca is only a short drive away. Would be more than happy to come back and stay here again, hopefully next year.

A fabulous authentic property in peace and quiet

This is a stunning house in the middle of the countryside just outside of Selva, a charming Mallorcan town with a few bars and restaurants suitable for families and a couple of high end foodie places too. Sa Corterada is a beautiful finca style home, with tons of spacious rooms inside. The traditional decor is lovely and the bedrooms feel really quaint and Spanish in style. The kitchen was absolutely fine for our requirements and the house also has a handy utility. The outside is the real star though. The pool is great, perfect for kids or adult groups and having several different sitting places is perfect for those hot evenings. Toni was a gracious, warm and helpful host, leaving welcome food in the fridge and helping us wit recommendations for the beach. We ate at many of the local restaurants but would especially recommend Cas Pereos for pam amb oil, Sa Tafona for paella and the Cellers in Inca for dinner. A fab stay. Thank you!

Beautiful property on the outside but needs a little work inside

The property is stunning on the outside however, inside there is a desperate need for some TLC. The mattresses are very poor and everyone had very poor sleep, the bedding needed replacing and one room had damp spots. We also had 2 evening without power as the generator failed but we were unable to get hold of the host for 24 hours as his contact details were wrong. Overall a stunning building but needs a little love.

Breathtaking views! Lovely family villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay last week. The villa is spacious and the views are stunning! Our boys loved the added extras of pool inflatables and basket ball hoop to play with! Toni was so accommodating, even going as far as buying us breakfast items for our arrival as we landed at 1am. Really kind! The only downside we can think of is the kitchen utilities which are a bit dated (kettle/toaster etc) but easy thing to update. Overall we loved spending our days around the pool, looking out over the mountain and listening to the resident cockerel! Lovely time!

Amazing villa with stunning views

Could not fault this property! The location is perfect for a peaceful, tranquil stay, I felt like a local. The house is lovely with plenty of space and plenty of kitchen utilities. I also like the two different seating areas outside one under the Canopy for shade and one towards the back of the property which we used for a BBQ during sunset. Toni was a very attentive host, who made himself available whenever we needed him! Wifi was perfect. Will definitely be coming back to this villa in the future!

Stunning Property!

Stunning property, really big and amazing views! The walk to Selva is only 10 minutes away, it's so pretty and has a bakery, cute coffee shop/bar and nice restaurant that looks over the mountains. The Wifi in the property is good and we had no problems at all, we had everything we needed and more! Toni had exceptional customer service, always just a quick phone call away. Thank you Toni for a wonderful stay, your house is beautiful, clean and we all want to come back soon!

Great location and villa

Myself and 5 friends stayed here for just under a week and had a fantastic time. The Villa is really well equipped, with everything you need to cook in the kitchen, good wifi that is strongest around the living room and reaches out to the pool. This was brand new when we arrived and worked perfectly - no issues. All the bedrooms are a good size and really comfortable, a couple with stunning views over the mountains. There are 2 different areas to eat outside with views, and the main area in front of the house now has a large canopy over it providing shade all day. There is plenty of space to park and could easily fit 2 cars, BBQ, sun loungers, washing machine, dish washer etc. The pool is clean and well-maintained, Toni was cleaning it as we arrived and came again during our stay to clean it. Toni was extremely helpful and is always available on the phone in case of any problems, and will deal with them straight away - we managed to lock the gate and couldn't open it, he arrived within 1 hour to fix it for us! The location is great, as you can walk into Selva in 10 minutes which has a couple of cafe/bars, supermarket, pharmacy and a lovely restaurant called Es Parc with amazing views. However, you are far away enough from the town that you feel you are in the countryside surrounded by olive groves. There is a very small herd of sheep that are on the land next to the house, Toni was adamanent that if their noise annoyed us at all he can ask the farmer to move them - this was not needed and we really enjoyed having them there! We all had a fantastic holiday because this villa was so lovely and will definitely be returning!

Wonderful location but a bit tired

The house is in a wonderful location just 15 minutes walk to Selva in the middle of the countryside with fabulous views to the mountains. It is basically though adequately furnished - but the sofas in the lounge are extremely uncomfortable! There are, however, problems with damp largely in the entrance hall and the utility room. Also, the equipment in the kitchen is a bit strange......... There are lots of electrical appliances but just one saucepan, no wooden spoons, no spatulas and we had to buy a sponge/scourer before we could wash up! The worst thing was that contrary to the title of the property, there is no wifi. Toni was very apologetic and helped us to find a data SIM that we could use in our tablet so that we could connect to the outside world but, given that we rely on a connection for our business, this was a complication that we could have done without. Also, the DVD player was broken. This was replaced during our stay but surely somebody should have checked that it worked before we arrived?

Lovely Sa Coterada

We, me and my wife and 3 other couples, stayed at Sa Corterada for the week of April 12 to 19. This was a bicycle training week for us, we have stayed in Palma the previous years. But this was such a perfect stay for us compared to Palma. Here we had direct access to the mountains and we could go West, East and South with good bicycling roads, starting from the villa. Just perfect! And to walk to Selva in the evening for a dinner at one of the restaurants was no problem at at all. And Selva is a very beautiful small city, with Inca just by. But we used the kitchen most of the days. We all loved the spacious house, with good beds for all of us and a large table that could seat us all for breakfast and dinner. As this was mid April is was good that we brought slippers and sweaters with us, the mornings were a bit chilly. We found the owner,Toni, very helpful with the few and small things we had to ask (type internet access). So we all recommend Sa Corterada and we already feels that we will return next year. //Krister

Absolutely stunning getaway

We chose to stay at Sa Corterada for 9 days in September and I know I speak for my mom, dad and sister when I say we enjoyed the best holiday we've had for a long time here. Sa Corterada is in the perfect spot on the island to visit all corners of the Island. We visited lots of places including Palma, Pollenca and Port de Pollenca, Valldemossa, Sant Jordi and of course Selva and Inca. The villa was well equipped and the views are simply stunning.Toni was on hand for help throughout the holiday so no matter what you felt cared for. Selva is a beautiful village and an ensaimada and coffee in town became something of a tradition on our holiday. For a special occasion do try Miceli restaurant in Selva; offering a tasting menu, altered ever day dependant on the produce available to buy. We also had beautiful meals at Es Parc, which boasts stunning views, a fabulous grill, and a must try almond cake with almond ice cream. Thankyou to Toni for making our stay so enjoyable and we hope to return to one day again! Jordan Hazrati

Lovely villa.

We stayed for 2 weeks in the villa. The villa was a real treat for those wanting to get away from it all. Although you feel you are miles away from it all, you only have a 10 minute walk to the lovely town of Selva. You are only 15 minutes from the big town of Inca. We had a lovely holiday exploring Majorca by car. The accommodation was clean and had everything you would want. Toni was very helpful, even meeting us on the night we arrived to direct us to the Villa. There was 8 of us and we all had a great holiday. Thank you Toni for being so helpful.

Beautiful Villa on the outskirts of Selva

Sa Corterada country house is a beautiful villa on the outskirts of the charming village of Selva. The villa itself has 4 large spacious rooms, large living / dinner, kitchen, utility and all the amenities that any family would need for their holiday on the lovely Mallorca Island. The villa is fully equipped with dish washer, washing machine, oven, BBQ etc.. We absolutely loved this Villa, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The view from the house is outstanding and we sat many a morning talking about the nearby village of Calamari that you can see from the outside dining area. Which was visited during our stay at villa Sa Corterada. There were 6 adults and 1 toddler in our party, we hired a car from Palma airport and Toni gave us excellent directions to the Villa. Selva’s is a beautiful village with very narrow streets, which took us by surprise at first, but we grew quickly to love challenge of passing through the village. The village is approx. 10 min walk from the Villa, there are some beautiful restaurants in the village (We would recommend Es Parc restaurant up the steps at the side of the historical Church in the main square, our group had one of their best meals in Mallorca there, the views from outside the restaurant are breath taking.)

Wunderbare Villa

Es war ein Traumurlaub. Die Villa ist wundervoll, sauber und komfortabel. Der Besitzer kümmert sich rührend um alle Anliegen, ist stets erreichbar. Das Haus liegt in den Bergen. Es ist traumhaft still. Ein Urlaub zum wohlfühlen. Zum Einkaufen muss man ein Auto haben.

Beautiful Summer Vaccation

We spent fantastic 3 weeks at the beautifull Sa Corterada country house. Embedded in the olive and almond tree yards and with a nice view on the Tramuntana mountains it is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy quite and charming vaccations. There is enough space for 8 adults and 2, maybe even 3 children. The pool is nice of good size and was perfectly maintained by Toni during our stay. Toni cares about his guests and wanted us to enjoy ourselves. We did not encounter any problems but it was very clear that he would solve them for us if there were any. The house is very nice, very well maintained and fully equipped with dish washer, washing machine, oven etc.. To the charming old village of Selva it is about a 10 minutes walk (0,5 km) where you find an old church, 2 restaurants and a bar/cafe, a bakery and a shop. It is a nice old village build on a hill with very narrow streets and nice views into the countryside and even to the sea at Alcudia. We often spent full days at the house but on the other hand it is easy to get around to the beautifull beaches at Puerto Pollensa, Formentor and Alcudia, which takes about 30 minutes by car. At Inca (next bigger city) there is once a week a market and in general all shopping infrastructure one needs, even a hospital. We also went to the monastery Lluc in the Tramuntana mountains and to Palma and the eastern coast at Es Trenc which takes about 30-40 minutes drives. So if you are looking for a nice place to relax and let the children (and yourself) experience freedom in a peacefull environment, this is the right place.

Sa Corterada July 2010

This villa was just perfect for us, close to enough to Selva for an easy walk in but also far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet. Pool was very clean, villa well maintained and Toni was always available to answer our questions. We really enjoyed our week in Sa Corterada and would recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy the quieter side of Majorca.

Super schöne Finka

Der Aufenthalt in der Finka war wirklich schön. Es ist ein riesiges Haus mit tollem Pool. Eine schöne große Terrasse mit Sonnensegel mit tollem Blick in die Berge. Leider sind die Betten bzw die Matratzen schon sehr alt, so dass wir nicht besonders gut geschlafen haben. Und auch die Sofagarnitur müsste mal ersetzt werden. Ansonsten hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.
