This is a water's edge, spacious, stylishly furnished apartment commanding magnificent views of the historical Malta Grand Harbour. Accommodation consists of a spacious living room (equipped with TV, DVD, stereo and wireless internet connection) and adjoining dining area. Large doors from the living room and dining area open onto the balcony, offering splendid 180 degree views of the Malta Grand Harbour. The open-plan luxury kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances. Sleeping accommodation consists of a master bedroom (double bed) with bathroom en suite, a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a third bedroom with one single bed. The apartment is child-friendly, with various necessities for a baby such as cot, baby changer and baby chair. A car parking space is included in the rental.

Vittoriosa (also known as 'Birgu') forms part of the 'three cities' offering quality restaurants, wine bars, museums and an authentic Maltese environment, all within walking distance of the apartment.

Transportation: If you intend to rent a car, a parking space is available in the garage underlying the apartment.

Alternatively, buses leave regularly from Vittoriosa to Valletta from where buses leave to all over the island. A very pleasant way of reaching Valletta is by water taxi or by Ferry bus, both within walking distance of the apartment.

Don't worry about driving

This is a fantastic apartment in a really nice area of Malta. Check in was great with Francis meeting our taxi near a restaurant and then taking us to the parking spot for the apartment and then the apartment. This was great because it would have been very difficult to find otherwise but once you know where everything is then it is easy. I won't repeat all the good things said about the apartment as they are all accurate - it really is a lovely place with superb views. The restaurats nearby are excellent and theTuna I had at Cargo was fantastic ( I had it twice). Getting to Valetta is easy on the Dgħajsas which were 3 euro per person and great fun or the ferry (which was easier for by 82 year old mother in law) for 2 euro each. The only mistake we made was not staying longer as we wanted to see the rest of Malta and were worried about parking and driving. Because of this we hired a car and stayed on Gozo for the second part of our trip. While this was very nice Gozo is a bit small. We would have been better staying here and using it as a base to explore Malta. The driving to and from the apartment was easy and the general standard of driving in Malta was fine (we had heard that it was a bit crazy) - we never felt unsafe. There is a dedicated parking spot that was easy to park in and not tight. Overall a fantastic stay.

Great location

I would recommend this property to family and friends. Perfect location with amazing views. The underground car park meant we had no paryworries with our rental car and the entire building was fully secure. Everything you needed was available. Great support and communication from the hosts.

Great apartment! You will not be disappointed!

Apartment was excellent! Great view over the harbour, with a swimming area just a few yards from the front door. All the important things were there - aircon in all bedrooms and living room, wifi was great & shower excellent. Check-in with Francis was comprehensive, even though we arrived very late. And we were extremely pleased to received the Welcome Pack with water, milk, bread, ham cheese etc. This was a great location , much less hectic than Valetta. Highly recommended!

Great Stay in a great apartment

The apartment was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need and exceptionally clean. The hosts were great, very helpful and friendly. The apartment was great - the photos don’t really do it to its credit. Really handy for Valletta (€2 boat across the harbour) and it felt like we had our own pool with the harbour outside the front door (cordoned off for swimmers). There was a parking space and air conditioning throughout - we will definitely have a revisit!

Outstanding apartment

3 bed apartment great for a twin, single and double with 2 bathrooms. Superb position with Valetta view, balcony over the water where you can safely swim. Basement parking and security. We had such an amazing time and would love to go back!

Wonderful view , gracious hosts but refurbishment required

We loved the view and locality of the property and the attentiveness of our hosts but were disappointed by the bed linen and soft furnishings - this could be improved by replacement of sheets and towels and some of the beds especially the room with two singles -the apartment in need of a freshen up and update

Just perfect

Our short stay in the apartment was just perfect - it's very homely, comfortable and well equipped, and the view was just stunning. Connie was very helpful getting in touch and answering questions, and it was good to meet Francis and have him show us everything (the best attention to detail we have ever had!). Using the underground car park was easy and getting around the area very straightforward. Dipping into the harbour in front of the apartment was so refreshing after a day wandering around Valletta & Birgu - the water lovely even in October. Definitely will be recommending this apartment to others!

Thoroughly recommended

Excellent location with fabulous views. Five minute walk to the 2 euro ferry (5 mins) to Valetta. Many reasonable shops within 10-20 minutes. Spacious with very good air conditioning and very well equipped. I'd be very happy to stay here again, thank you!

Perfect week

Connie’s flat is bright, spacious, private and quiet, all features quite hard to find in the capital. It was well and generously equipped with everything we needed, including a welcome pack, and spotlessly clean. Check-in and departure were very easy - warm thanks to Francis. Car parking is a great bonus, with Eugene the excellent porter, and regular security checks. And most of all the spectacular views from the balcony. We were fortunate to coincide with Independence Day, and had a grandstand view of the fireworks in the harbour. A terrific visit. No question we’d like to come back!

Excellent waterfront apartment

We enjoyed all aspects of our stay at this lovely apartment, from our welcome meeting with the owners father to our taxi departure arranged by the on site security officer. The views from the lounge are wonderful and the apartment is excellent in every aspect. The online apartment details and photographs accurately describe and reflect the accommodation. Email contact with the owner Connie was invaluable in giving information and advise prior to arrival. The location of the apartment in Birgu is very good with the local square 10 minutes walk away housing a few convenience stores, eateries and a bus stop for an easy 30 minute drive into Valetta. There are also a few excellent restaurants adjacent to the marina within easy walking distance. We have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending this lovely apartment to anyone looking for quality accommodation in a quiet and beautiful location.

October Stay

Great apartment with fantastic panoramic views over the harbour. Nice and peaceful with a very well equipped kitchen. Excellent communication from Connie and her dad who met us at the airport to show the way in the hire car. Short level walk to the ferry for Valetta which runs every half an hour until quite late in the evening. Note that the price of the ferry ticket includes the cost of the barrakka lift up to the city centre. Lovely city with so much history you don't want to miss it. No large supermarket in walking distance but not a problem with a hire car. Parking space allocated under apartment block and lift up to apartment. Nearest Lidl about 20 mins by car due to traffic. There is a local corner shop. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance expect to pay 10-15 euro for a main course. Meal for 4 with drinks allow at least 70+ euro. Steps outside the apartment for swimming in the harbour. Water looked clean enough but I don't like to swim in yacht harbours personally. Washing machine but no tumble dryer. There is an airer and pegs. We really liked Malta and had a great holiday despite quite a bit of rain which generally cleared in the afternoon. Hoping to return.

Wow, wow, wow!

AMAZING, that's the only word that sums up Connie's flat! We loved our week there...meeting Francis(delightful man) at the airport & following him to the apartment, the apt itself was spacious & so comfortable but its all about those views, they are magical & cannot be described in words! Delicious restaurants on your doorstep & the area of Birgu was fascinating, a great choice. Agree with other reviews that the shower in the main bathroom is probably more of a hand held & not high enough but the pressure was brilliant & our friends let my husband & I use the wonderful shower in the ensuite when we needed to! Thank you so much Connie, you were a joy to deal with from start to finish. We would all have no hesitation in recommending this apartment if you are visiting Malta; do it you wont regret booking I promise! We were sad to leave & if Malta wasn't so far from New Zealand, would be back in a heartbeat! :-)

AUSTRALIANS IN MALTA

We were very happy with our accommodation. The apartment was perfect to come back too after busy days exploring Malta's attractions. Birgu is a great area to wander around and soak up the 'local' atmosphere. We have no hesitation in recommending the apartment, particularly for two couples.

Everything went to plan. We were met by Francis & Margaret as arranged. They were lovely and welcoming, very informative about the apartment and surrounding area. Gave us lots of tips and advice on where to visit. The apartment is in a beautiful location, with wonderful views across the bay, and we hope to return soon.

Lovely Apartment & Location

We had a lovely family holiday in Connie's spacious apartment - it was clean, well equipped and met all our needs. Her father was also the excellent welcoming party, apartment explainer and tour advice guide!!! The view was brilliant and we just loved having breakfast looking out over the harbour and beyond. So simple and quick to catch the ferry across the harbour to Velveeta whenever we wanted. Only advice we would give about Malta is - watch out for the mosquitoes and don't waste ur money on the red Hop-on Hop-off bus - they only have 9 buses while the local company have 44 and are therefore much more reliable.

Lovely apartment. Brilliant location. Fabulous views. Great stay.

Apartment very comfortable and has all the amenities. A warm welcome from Connie's father and a much appreciated welcome pack. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the boating scene. The location situated in a quiet spot of an historic town is excellent.

The apartment catered for every need, and it's location and situation was ideal.
