Family fun in the vineyards of Valpolicella

There will be contactless check in , time between guests departure and arrival , and all linens will be regularly cleaned and disinfected by the company contracted with specific detergent as requested by WHO . Same with all surfaces disinfecting practices . This to make us and our guests feel more secure and relaxed .

Located at heart of the Valpolicella vineyards, Casa Rosa is a newly refurbished farmhouse and it is part of an ancient and vast wine estate. It is situated at the edge of a plain from which you can admire beautiful sunsets. Guided bicycle tours and wine tastings in the numerous wineries surrounding us are available on request. The closest town is the romantic and lovely city of Verona (15Km away) and it is only 20Km from spectacular Garda lake. Wonderful hiking in the Lessinia mountains (8Km) and Monte Baldo. Attractions within driving distance also include Venice (135Km) and Milan (160 Km). Amusement parks nearby include safari park Parco Natura Viva (14Km) and Gardaland (23Km). The city fair Veronafiere is only 15Km away making it very convenient for Vinitaly, Fieracavalli, Marmomac and Motor Bike Expo. Other attractions within driving distance include the Alps, the Dolomites, Mantua and Bologna. The airport is just 17Km away.

Lovely characterful house in the heart of Valpolicella

We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely spacious and characterful house. It’s in a great location, close to the local village San Pietro in Cariano where we found some great restaurants, and equidistant (about 25 minutes) from Verona and Lake Garda. So plenty to see and do. Giada was most helpful and very communicative with plenty of local recommendations, all in all I would highly recommend this property. It was perfect for 4 friends each wanting their own bedroom, but being able to enjoy the communal spaces together, both inside, and out on the sunny terrace for breakfast. Thanks again Giada for everything

Wonderful Holiday in a Beautiful Place

We had a great time in Italy. The house was lovely & being located in the middle of the Valpolicella wine region, its perfect for exploring Lake Garda, Verona, Venice & the Dolomites. The hosts were excellent in taking care of us & their communication was really good. We would definitely come again & can recommend staying here without hesitation. THANK YOU :-)

Our Stay

The property is large with 4 good sized bedrooms nice lounge,dining room with small kitchen. There is 3 bathrooms with showers plus a bath, a large barn attached for eating ,relaxing and children play area plus very cool area to be in. Outside is a large lawn area with a big children's playhouse ,a nice relaxing size pool at a nice chilled temperature which is great 1st thing in the morning ,taught my 5yr grandson to swim . Location is fantastic surrounded by grapevines and fantastic view's. That's the plus now the minus. We all got mosquitos bites so will need repellant. Would like to have those blue light units to attract insects. Had fans to keep cool would be nice to have air-conditioning units Now,would I stay there again, YES great location for a family, a very chilled area to relax. I like to say a big thank you to the owner who always replied to any queries we had straight away.

Great little house in beautiful Italian countryside.

we loved the house and it suited our needs. It is an old house but has great character. We did have a lot of water come in the house when it rained but nothing a mop and bucket could not solve. The house served its purpose for what we needed. Must add the communication with the people involved with the house was excellent.

A happy house

Anna is a great host, and we had a thoroughly relaxing time, visiting many of the wonderful places easily reached from the house and by train to Venice. There was plenty of room and amenities for us all, and we recommend it unreservedly.

Another wonderful stay at Casa Rosa. We have been two years running and still have not been to all the places we would like to. This year's surprise package was Mantova, a 40 min drive and a really beautiful place.

What a stunning house full of character surrounded by beautiful vineyards

We arrived quite late and Anna still took the time to great us and show us around the house, she also provided us with a little welcome basket which was really kind. Anna was always on the end of the phone if we needed help or advice. The house was spacious and never felt overcrowded even for the 7 of us. Thank you Anna for opening up your beautiful home to us all and given us the opportunity to view the delights and wonders of Lake Garda Becky and family

Good sized property in Veneto location

The property is well furnished in living accommodation but kitchen and bathrooms would benefit from improvements - especially if meals for 6-8 people were to be prepared. Kitchen lacks much workspace and the huge sink was not helpful. A microwave would have been a useful addition but there is no room at the moment for it. Two of the bathrooms adjoin and so privacy is not that great. Owner helpful but left very little information about the property or area, just leaflets. Main advantage is the accessibility for Verona, Padua, the lakes and the villages of the Veneto. Plenty of heat in the evenings and hot water. Some updating would improve this property. Some noise from trains.

Wonderful house!

We spent two idyllic weeks at Casa Rosa. The house is beautiful and Anna is the perfect host. The location is excellent, a quiet rural area with easy access to Verona and Lake Garda (both less that 30 mins drive). We loved the games room and pool. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

A luxurious, superbly appointed house making a relaxing base to tour the surrounding region

We had a superb stay at Casa Rosa - certainly one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. All mod cons whilst balancing this with some lovely antique furniture it really was as good as the pictures suggested. 4 very large double bedrooms made sure the whole family were catered for. Kitchen really well appointed and good stock of basic provisions to save you having to buy everything from scratch for cooking. Nice BBQ and small pool to cool down at the end of the day. Really nice garden and sitting area to enjoy an Aperol Spritzer or two of an evening. Extensive source of wild basil and other herbs too. Made a really good base to explore the area. We ran out of time as there was so much to explore. Property made a good base and gave chance to get away from the busy crowds in Garda. Verona is beautiful as were other surrounding towns such as Soave and Vicenza. Lots of Vineyards in the area - we had a good free tasting at the nearby Masi Estate. lake Garda only 25 mins away and lots to do and see! Giada was an excellent host and made sure we were okay throughout the holiday and was very helpful in kindly providing plenty of tourist information! She even kindly gave us a guided tour to show us where the local supermarket and bakery were. No quibble refund of our security deposit too. Thanks so much Giada. Thoroughly recommended - you won't be disappointed.

What a wonerful house.

We had a restful time in a well stocked, clean and well out of the way of the hub ub of the lake but sufficiently close to everywhere we wanted to visit. It is an ideal location for a family. Giada was most welcoming and very helpful both in the booking process and supportive once we arrived. I would certainly book it again.

Herzliches Wochenende im Valpolicella

Der CheckIn und der Einzug saubere Haus hat super funktioniert. Wir waren schon in verschiedenen Unterkünften in Italien. Die hat uns am besten gefallen. Der angrenzende Spielraum mit Tischfussball und Badmington hat allen super gefallen. In der Küche findet man alles zum Kochen. Sogar geeignete Weingläser sind vorhanden

Urlaub in den Weinbergen

Unser Familienurlaub in dem herrlichen Ferienhaus war ein voller Erfolg. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Den Kindern hat vor allem der tolle Pool gefallen. Wir älteren konnten in dem herrlichen Garten unsere Urlaubstage genießen. Der Gardasee und Verona sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, dies eignet sich hervorragend für reichlich Ausflüge. Wir können das Anwesen nur empfehlen 👍

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus, ausgestattet für 8 Erwachsene, inmitten von Weinreben. Für die Freizeitbeschäftigung ist alles vorhanden, inkl. Pool. Grundnahrungsmittel können fußläufig eingekauft werden. Für größere Einkäufe ist ein Auto notwendig.

Ein Ort zum Entspannen und genießen

Die Beschreibung entsprach genau dem was wir vorfanden. Gemütliches Bauernhaus mit viel Flair. Der Kontakt mit den Verantwortlichen vor Ort war ausgezeichnet. Bei Fragen , schnelle Antwort. Viele Tipps zur Umgebung und einen reibungslosen Ablauf. Das Haus liegt zentral, man ist schnell am Gardasee oder in Verona. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und fuhren erholt , mit vielen schönen Erlebnissen, nach Hause.

Perfect place

We ware one week in the house with oure 3 kids and partners. The house was perfect fore the hole familie. In the big room we place oure racebikes. From the house was it easy to go to Verona, the Laké and the valley. We had a perfect week there👌
