Under 30 minutes drive from Gaway and 5 minutes from Spiddal in Connemara Galway.
This comfortable entire Chalet is for rent with new completely refurbished bathroom.

Situated a convenient distance from Galway City but the area remains unspoilt, and beautiful with beautiful beaches 5 minutes walking distance.

This private comfortable residence is situated just a few minutes walk from glorious unspoilt beaches of Connemara on the Wild Atlantic Way and a short drive from Galway City.

The Chalet is in a safe location (Google Maps : Loughaunbeg) just off the main road with its own entrance and parking area.
It comprises of two bedrooms -one double and one with two single beds. One bathroom with a Mira electric shower, living room with TV, games etc. Kitchen/dining room is fully equipped including microwave oven, Miele Washer/dryer and fridge/freezer.
Lovely garden area with outdoor tables and chairs provided in different areas to make the most of the south facing garden.

The Chalet is in an ideal location on the Wild Atlantic Way- just 5 minutes by car from Spiddal village and 2 minutes from Inverin village, less than 5 minutes walk to nearest pub and only 28 minutes drive to Galway City. Connemara airport and ferry to Aran Islands is just minutes away. Enjoy exploring the wild west with sea fishing, hiking, swimming etc.

Holiday in Galway

The chalet was in a good position for touring Galway and Connemara. The chalet was a little dated but comfy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The beach was gorgeous. We were a little surprised by the road noise.

A lovely, comfortable stay.

This was a very comfortable, clean and well equipped property. We were made to feel very welcome and very much enjoyed our chats with the host. Altogether a very enjoyable stay.

Home away from Home but by the sea!

Charming and cosy home with character in the heart of Connemara. Majella and Michael were so accomodating excellent hosts v thoughtful, just there if you need them. Newly refurbushed with amazing selection of books to read. My husband worked remotely while i watched tv or walked to the nearby beach to check out the seal colony. Busy road with trips to Spiddal to the Ros na Ruin (Irish soap) pub and Padricins for fab seafood and smiles. Would need a car but daily trips to Galway possible by bus too. A lovely memorable and cosy stay. A lot of character and thought put into the home.

A beautiful stay in a gorgeous cottage. Perfect for me and three teenagers! So peaceful in the eves!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were greeted by Michael a lovely friendly man who welcomed us warmly! The cottage was lovely and clean, comfy beds and although we didn’t use the kitchen it has everything there. Lovely tv room also. In the evening the garden was so beautiful and peaceful to sit and relax. Beach is only a 5 min walked and we were blessed with amazing weather! Will most definitely recommend this stay and hopefully we will return again. Thanks Michael and Majella

Wonderful family stay.

We spent a few days in the property it was everything we needed as a family of four. The location was great and the beach close to the chalet was a fantastic bonus. We near enough had it to ourselves just saw a few people in the distance. The chalet had everything we needed plus a few extras that were greatly appreciated. Michael and Marja were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They kindly let our children run off steam in the garden and were available if we needed anything. We would love to return again and wish we had booked a few more days!

Lovely place to stay

Really enjoyed our stay and found it very close to all the things we wanted to do. Up to Clifden one day driving the Wild Atlantic way then down to Cliffs of Moher the next. So nice to be able to walk down to the beach from our place to look over the water as well. Fantastic hosts and we would love to stay again for a future trip.

We stayed for a weekend as a base as attending a concert in Galway. Lovely accommodation.. the photos don’t do it justice ! So comfortable.. fantastic hosts Michael and Marjella, really lovely people who took care of us during our stay, thank you so much. Beautiful area and will definitely return for a holiday, only half hour out of Galway so get the best of both worlds. Had a great taxi driver called Martin recommended by marjella, definitely recommend staying here, couples or family, absolutely fell in love with Ireland and couldn’t have found a better gem !!! Thank you 😊

lovely cottage

Really enjoyed our stay at Cosy Cottage. Accommodation was perfect sized for us, and the location was fantastic.. A short drive to the nearest towns and about a 20 minute drive to Galway City, which was ideal. Both Micheal and Majella were very kind and friendly to us both. always stopping for a chat and happy to recommend places for us to visit. Majella recommended we take a stroll to the water just down from the cottage and we were so glad we did. really beautiful views and a highlight of our holiday. We could not recommend highly enough. we had a great honeymoon. Thank you so much Micheal and Majella

A Charming Stay at the Irish Chalet

They went above and beyond by leaving a thoughtful hostess basket filled with delicious baked goods and coffee, which was a perfect way to start our mornings.The accommodations were exceptionally well-appointed, combining comfort with a touch of Irish charm. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay cozy and enjoyable.Each morning, we took a leisurely walk to the nearby bay, soaking in the stunning scenery and crisp fresh air. One of the highlights of our walks was meeting Fred, the friendly neighborhood donkey. He was an absolute joy to say hello to!In the evening, we ventured to a nearby pub for a pint with the locals. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, allowing us to soak in the local culture and enjoy some great conversations.Overall, our stay at the Irish chalet was a memorable getaway filled with warmth, beauty, and delightful experiences. Beautiful Stay

We only stayed one night, but it was wonderful. It was nice and cozy. We made dinner at the chalet and it turned out great. The beach down the road was stunning and a must see if you stay here.
