Great family house by the beach

We travelled as a family of four, with two kids aged 13 and 11. The house was perfect for us - with each child getting their own room and double bed. Location is ideal - less than 5mins walk to a lovely public beach, with all amenities right on your doorstep: bakery, deli, supermarket and a great wine shop. Great base for exploring the rest of the coast too - 10min walk to the station for the train to Monaco or Grasse. Or an easy 30min walk to Antibes. Check in was simple and communication with Camilla was excellent. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and has everything you need (nice wine glasses!) for a really easy and relaxed holiday. Lovely stuff.

Lovely place and thoughtful host

The house is very nice and the little yard outside is pleasant to sit in. It's a very easy walk to the beach and to shops nearby. There's a good house booklet with lots of info. Brian, the property manager was helpful. He came over and replaced a light bulb when we needed it. :-) The host was very gracious. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyable - but ......

Have to totally agree with other reviews. Very well equipped Chalet and great service. Had problems to begin regarding the cooking facilities but was fixed ok. Camilla welcomed our 2 hour delay late night arrival with generous enthusiasm that we all needed badly at that point. My only complaint about the location was the noise from the road at the bottom of the garden. We were expecting some road noise but it was greatly increased by the reverberation off the tall buildings at the back, this plus the train noise was quite unbelievable at times. We realise nothing can be done about this but none of the reviews I read had mentioned this so have decided to mention myself as it would have helped me in my decision to book the property. I will end on a more cheery note, the beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept well.

Fab location, great family house!

The location of this property was absolutely perfect for those with a young family needing to get to and from the beach easily and quickly (literally a 2 minute walk!). The property itself was also great - good rooms, air con that works very well, fully equipped kitchen, and brilliant garden providing lots of shade for kids playing. Communication with the owner has always been very easy, with a quick response time! Would definitely recommend this property for those with a young family wanting a beach break!

Lovely little french holiday house

Super efficient communication with owner and agent, helpful and accommodating. The house is perfectly situated for a beach holiday, just a few minutes walk to the sandy beaches. He house is nicely decorated and feels very french. A local supermarket & patisserie just around the corner for whatever you need. Plenty of restaurants in Juan Les Pins and just a short taxi ride to Antibes Old Town - definitely worth the effort.

A charming house with great family accommodation and lovely outside space. Square Dulys has all the necessities needed on the doorstep and the town is a nice 10-15 minute stroll along the front. Camilla was very helpful and we would love to return.

Fantastisk fint litet hus, nära till allt!

Som ett sagohus med egen gård, inbäddad i grönska och med praktiskt taget egen strand (så nära att det känns så) hade vi en härlig vecka i september! Så fint och mysigt inredd, med allt som kan behövas, och plats för att laga egen mat om man vill. Restauranger runt hörnet (Tiffanys Kitchen var bäst), eller längs strandpromenaden när man vill äta ute. Efter många utflykter och mycket att se var det härligt att sova ut i de sköna sängarna! Jag rekommenderar verkligen detta ställe med hög mysfaktor och nära till allt! Kristina & Michael med vänner

absolutely loved our stay at this lovely house

This lovely little house is a true hidden treasure, a small paradise hidden away to stress away from the beach. We stand there with our 3 kids and it was just perfect! Cozy, well-equipped, clean, great service, lovely owner, fab coffee&dining place around the corner and just a few minutes walk away from the beach - ideal really! We can strongly recommend a stay at this charming house ... you won't regret it!!

Ideal for families with small children

This summer was our second in row in this picturesque, cozy house which offers ease and high quality feel, in a child-friendly setting. For our family with small two children (baby and toddler) the house has perfect access and facilities (two feeding chairs, baby cot and most importantly, toys (both indoor and beach). My sons just loved playing outside in the garden, whilst we enjoyed breakfast/lunch/dinner in a beautiful garden patio. And everything was extremely well kept, maintained and cleaned. This place truly feels like a home away home. Thank you Camilla for everything! The location is not in a heart of city and action, but around the corner within 150 meters you have everything you need for a lazy holidays, e.g. bakery, multiple restaurants, beach, convenience store, bio store, winery, play ground. Tiffany`s kitchen, new bio restaurant and the pizza van, both at Dulys Square, stone throw away from the house were a blizz! I would definitely, whole-heartedly recommend this place to families who are looking for a high quality holiday in a beautiful setting.

Charmigt litet hus med fantasiskt läge!

Våra två veckor i Juan les Pins började med att hyresvärdinnan gav en noggrann genomgång av huset och dess faciliteter. Efter det kände vi oss trygga och vi var även välkomna att kontakta värdinnan när vi ville. Huset som ligger ca 200 m från stranden är en liten pärla med egen liten trädgård och trots närhet till större hus och trafik var det mycket lugnt. Allt i huset fungerade och var i gott skick och det var hög kvalitet på sängar och bäddutrustning. Det fanns till och med huggen ved för oss att hämta när vi tände brasan på kvällarna. Allt, och jag menar verkligen allt, fanns i nära anslutning till huset. Flera av lokalbussarna, buss 200 till Cannes alt Nice, buss 250 till flygplatsen, fantastiska badstränder längs Medelhavet, många restauranger i både Juan les Pins och Antibes liksom de härliga fisk och grönsaksmarknaderna i Cannes, Antibes och Nice. Vi vill gärna komma tillbaka och jag gratulerar er som får möjlighet att hyra le Chatelet någon eller några veckor.

Lovely house and garden

We are a family of two adults and two teenage girls who spent a lovely week in Chalet Jacques. We loved to sit in the garden to eat our meals . The house was clean and nicely furnished. It was just a very short walk to the beach, to the supermarket, to the bakery and some small restaurants. We would love to come back since we found it so great. The housekeeper has been very nice and easy to communicate with .

Adorable house

We spent a week in this absolutely adorable house together with our daughter, husband and baby boy. It worked out so well with one bedroom well separated from the other two. That gave us all privacy in a perfect way. Lovely to open up the house in the morning enjoying breakfast with fresh bread and croissants from the bakery just around the corner in the adorable garden. A very well equipped kitchen and a generous "use whatever there is". Our little grandson had lots of toys both in the house and for the beach to play with, and there was a bed and chair for him as well. The beach so close was an extra plus. Took us just a few minutes to reach, all of us ready in swimwears. And last but not least such a good communication with Camilla, the owner.

Cosy winter in Juan les Pins

Excellent choice!

We had a perfect stay in Camilla's very cosy house. We went their with our two sons and they adored the little boy's room and the garden. The kitchen is well equipped such as everything else. We had a great welcoming by Annelie and in contact with Camilla several times. They are both adorable. We will definitely go back to this house which made us feel as we were in our own sweet home. Perfect place for families and close to everything. Thank you again Camilla for making us have a great and comfortable vacation.

Great holiday house in Juan Les Pins

What a lovely house and garden - we had a lovely holiday there. Juan Les Pins is really a nice place with great beach few min walk - all your recommendations were really helpful and very good and the house is in such a good location. My daughter did enjoy running around the garden as it stayed cool with the trees and she slept well so we all had a better holiday. We reluctantly left to come home as it seemed to end too quick..

Charming Chalet Jacques, Excellent location

We stayed for the 3rd time in this lovely house which has a charming, cosy rustic interior and a very nice secluded private garden in the middle of Juan les Pins. The house with the garden is a little oasis. We could not have found a better place! We enjoyed our stay each time! The house comes with everything you would ever need, perfectly maintained and very well equipped. A car is not necessary here.The parking place on the property is really useful. For the combination of outdoor space, tranquility and central location I do not think you can beat this house - very highly recommended. The Chalet has an excellent position, just minutes from the lovely beach, easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, everything you need. It is a great location between Nice and Cannes. Thanks to the Landlady who is a lovely and caring person. Annelie who takes care of the house is always very helpful. We have already booked for next year and we are looking forward to come again! A perfect place

My friends & I had an amazing time in Juan Les Pins & the chalet Jacques made our holiday. Its a beautiful house set back just one street from the beach with access to a little town a mere 2 minutes away. Walking to the main centre of Juan les Pins was an enjoyable 15 minute stroll along the beach front. The house is very quaint & gave us a great feel for the French way of living. We all had own rooms & the house is large enough so everyone gets their space. It's perfect & the garden too is beautiful, beware to take lots of mosquito spray if outside! We would all love to go back and stay there again in the future & would absolutely recommended a visit to anyone considering it. Looking at the pictures on here whilst writing this makes me miss our lovely home in Juan les Pins. The lady who owns the house was so helpful from the minute we booked until our trip ended. Nothing was ever too much trouble & we were in constant contact whenever we had any queries. Thank you Camilla so much for making my 40th birthday in your home so special.

Welcoming spring in Juan Les Pins

We spent a week in March in Chalet Jacques. It was the perfect time to go, spring was just arriving on the Cote d'Azur and home in Switzerland it was still winter. The house is a rare pearl with it's lush garden and charming interior in the middle of Juan Les Pins! The house was really cute and cosy, we cound't have found a better place! We really enjoyed cooking in the kithchen and having breakfast under the mandarin tree in the garden. In the evenings we could enjoy watching movies, a hot bath or watching the fire in front of the fire place, a real luxury! We mostly got around on foot, since evrything was so close. Cap d'Antibes has a lot of beautiful walks and is also good for morning jogging. Old town of Antibes was lovely this time of year, cute houses and narrow streets. We spent a lot of time sipping espressos in the sun in one of all the cafés. We also made day trips to Cannes, Nice, Vallauris and Monaco. All by local train or bus which worked perfectly. Thanks to the landlady who is really lovable and helpful all the practical stuff was easily arranged. She really made sure we had a great stay at Chalet Jacques. Christmas in Juan Les Pins

A very beatiful house in Juan Les Pins. Nice kitchen which was important to us during christmas time. House was like one in the movie called Holiday. Location was also perfect. Near the beach and food market. There is also bus stops ner the house. It took only 15 min to Cannes.

A month to remember

We arrived to the house in early October to stay for a month i Juan les Pins (and another month in different places in France). Our expectations were fulfilled and exceeded from the first moment. The house is extremely charming and the surrounding is perfect for a late summer season holiday. You will find everything you need in the house. If you have kids they will appreciate all the toys in the house for recration on the beach or in the house. The rest of the family will appreciate a great list of must-do:s and what-not-to-do:s. It takes you two minutes to walk to fantastic beaches and in another three minutes your in the city centre. The bakery is just around the corner and the same goes for the supermarket and the butcher's. On top of this your hostess is a lovely and caring person. We recommend you to rent this house. We hope your stay will be as good as ours. We had a month to rememer for the rest of our lives.

Amazing location

We were four adults who stayed in the house one week in September 2010. We all thought that the house was very well maintained and has an amazing location. Beaches,shops, restaurants within a few minutes walk.It was very easy to access the buses and the train station. One day we all took the bus to Cannes which was a very pleasant trip and easy to get there with the local bus. Everything in the house was in really good condition and well equipped, bathroom was very nice and clean. We got a very positive relation with the rentor (Camilla) and we warmly recommend this place to others!

Chalet Jacques, Juan Les Pins

The house is a little oasis, three minutes walk to a lovely sandy beach and very convenient for shops and restaurants. A car is not necessary here. Very well equipped house and friendly local management. Some traffic and train noise to get used to. The house was clean and well-maintained, comfortable mattresses and a large bright bathroom. Juan Les Pins is very French and is close to Antibes.
