Amazing Villa for group of friends who don't have to share double beds

We were a group of 8 friends , this villa was really suitable as none of us had to share a double bed. One of us had the fantastic master bedroom to themselves with ensuite so another used the upstairs sitting room (there isn't a door, but it is still private as the sofa/bed is round a corner- I didn't mention we would be using it and there was no extra bedding anywhere in the house, but we were given some the next day. The cleaner comes every other day, we didn't expect or need that really, but a bonus for many. The pool, lounging and the many seating areas are amazing. Sea views everywhere. The pool temperature was fine in May, no need to pay for heating. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and there was a barbeque and dining area on the higher level . The bedroom on the ground floor had an ensuite with bath tub with a place that you could sit down and shower. One twin bedroom on the main floor beside the pool but no direct access as it had a balcony rail. There is a downstairs toilet across the way. Upstairs in asition to the master bedroom and small sitting room there is another twin room and a large shared bathroom with a spa bath and a very good seperate shower. The level walk into Kassioppi is 10-15 minutes, the track up to the villa is steep but short.

Beautiful property in incredible location

We spent a fantastic week at Don’s villa in October. Our group consisted of me, my husband, our two children, my sister and my mum and dad, who are in their 70s. The villa was so spacious and gave us all our own space. The views from the villa are spectacular. My parents found the hill up to the villa a bit of a challenge, but they took their time and managed it every day. The villa is a 10-15 minute walk into town. Having travelled all over but never anywhere in Greece, Kassiopi has quickly become one of our favourite places and we are already looking to go back. Don’s restaurant, which is down by the harbour, is hard to beat and despite trying other restaurants (which were great) we ate at Don’s three times during our week stay. Don was so attentive and helpful with any questions we had. We absolutely would not hesitate to recommend this villa. The only down side to our week was when my mum dropped her eternity ring and it bounced off the balcony into the undergrowth of the property next door…..if you ever come across it, please let us know. I would love to reunite my mum with her ring that she has had for over 40 years!

Fantastic location

A lovely villa just 10 mins walk into Kassiopi. Don, the owner, was very helpful, arranging airport transfers for us and giving us a free drink at his restaurant. The villa was clean with all the facilities you need,. The most comfortable sunbeds too. Downside was that the pool area was in shade a lot of the time and there were wasps around the pool but that can’t be helped. Kassiopi is a wonderful place with amazing restaurants, loved it. Thanks Don for your great hospitality!

Fantastic stay

Communication with Don was great. We arrived at 1am and we found the property easily. The villa is more spectacular than the photos portray. The views are amazing and the pool area feels luxury. The only complaint we would have is it’s suitability for a toddler/ young child - we would not consider it suitable to leave a toddler running around without constant supervision, due to the number of stairways, balconys and drops as the villa is built on the side of a hill so if we were to come again it would be with older children/ adults only. We had a great stay and would recommend it.

Villa Spiros is 5 stars PLUS!!!

This villa is beautiful - really spacious, all bedrooms a great size, and the cleanliness was beyond anywhere else we've ever stayed. The location is perfect - quiet, but within a minute or two walk from the sea, and also only 10 minutes to all the tavernas, cafes and shops of Kassiopi. Views from it over to Albania are superb.

Picture perfect villa

The photos on Vrbo do not do justice to this beautiful villa. It is spacious and exceptionally comfortable. The pool area boasts stunning views over the sea and harbour. Don was a perfect host, easily contactable and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed a lovely meal in his restaurant Porto Nouveau overlooking the Kassiopi harbour. We will definitely return for future holidays!

Great Villa!

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Dons villa in Kassiopi. Obviously with the current Covid situation we were in two minds as to whether cancel our holiday but are so glad we decided to go ahead. Don could not have been more helpful, allowing us to delay our payments for the villa right until a couple of days before to ensure that we would not lose any money if we could not travel which really gave us a great peace of mind. We had a transfer from the airport - a company Don had recommended which was efficient and on time for both journeys. The villa is just fantastic - our party was two families of four with teenage children. It is arranged so that everybody had their own space and bathroom with the two boys even having a small self contained apartment to themselves. The villa had everything we could possibly need for our holiday with air conditioning in all rooms - much needed with the 33 degree heat. The outside areas are lovely great pool - the pool man comes every morning to maintain. We should of had a cleaner also but due to current restrictions in Greece this could not happen - not a problem at all and Don kept in touch to check if we ever needed anything. Location of the villa is great, 5 mins to the nearest beach and taverna and a further 10 mins on to the village square and harbour where Don has to lovely restaurants to visit. Maybe something to consider is the rather steep (but short) hill up to the villa which was not a problem for us and not an issue if you have a car but might be for other guests - however the reward for this was the views which were amazing!! We would not hesitate to book Don's villa again and return to the beautiful village of Kassiopi.

Wonderful family holiday

After losing both parents in a few months my husband and his brother needed a relaxing holiday. We were 4 adults and 4 teenagers so needed lots of bathrooms! The communication with Don the owner was faultless and he even met us at midnight when we arrived to show us the villa! We had a welcome pack and can honestly say the villa was spotless and so much space it was ideal. My husband and I stayed in a basement room which was very spacious. Pool was maintained every morning and Elsa the maid came 3 times a week with clean towels & bedding. Really cannot state what a wonderful time we all had. Lots of lovely restaurants especially Don’s Lavandier restaurant! Villa is a 10 minute walk from Kassiopi and is on a hilly incline which wasn’t a problem. The boys went snorkelling a lot at the pebbly beaches. We did boat tours and embraced the local culture. Will definitely be returning!!!

Nice villa

Had another wonderful holiday in kassiopi, have stayed a few times. The villa was nice, however there were a few issues. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was extremely loud, so has to turn it off. However, the unit outside on the balcony was equally as noisy, so that was a problem for me. There was water dripping down from the balcony into the stairs which caused there to be a lot of wasps gathering on the stairs, which we had to walk through every day. Although we don’t use the TV much to be honest, was disappointed that there were virtually no English channels. Also could not get the radio to work. A couple of the doors could not be locked, so we locked the shutters on the outside. The villa is in a lovely location, with wonderful views and we did overall have a nice week. I do recommend the fish restaurant at the bottom of the hill, absolutely fab!

Fabulous villa with fabulous views!

Seven of us stayed at Villa Spiros and what a fabulous time we had! The villa was spotlessly clean. The pool was cleaned each morning and the maid came in Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The views from the villa are wonderful, just fabulous to sit outside and look out to sea and across to Albania. It’s also very private. There are 3 other villas below but Villa Spiros is positioned above these and there’s no other villa above Villa Spiros. Do expect a steepish climb back to the villa for the last 50 metres, but it’s worth it for the views! Don recommended Pandora supermarket for our food/drink supplies, which is about a 15 minute stroll from the villa, and they delivered everything to us free of charge! We ate in Don’s two restaurants, Taverna Levanda and Porto Restaurant, and found them both excellent. Imerolia Fish Taverna, just at the bottom of the road from the villa is also really lovely. Imerolia beach, about 150-200 metres away, is very rocky so you need decent beach shoes to walk along there. Kassiopi is beautiful, we took a stroll along the headland before arriving back at the harbour and that was very pleasant. The harbour and restaurants are really lovely with a great atmosphere. We booked a boat trip and did the East Coast Cruise which was very reasonably priced and had a great day. When we come again next year we intend doing two or three boats trips as we’d enjoyed it so much. So thumbs up from all seven of us, can’t wait until next year!

Fantastic villa with stunning views

Group of 6 of us had a fabulous week at Villa Spiros. The villa is even nicer than the photo's, lots of space for everyone to sit and relax, plenty of room around the pool. The view is stunning and it's a lovely quiet spot. As mentioned in other reviews the driveway is pretty steep but helps keep those calf muscles toned and burns off a couple of beers when you come to climb it! Otherwise you are minutes from the local beach and a short walk into Kassiopi. We had pretty much everything we needed and Dom was always on call if we had any questions about anything. Would also recommend both his restaurants in the village (you get a cheeky 10% discount if you are staying in the villa), ate out at both and the food was fantastic. Only thing we'd feed back is that the kitchen could do with some more glasses and mugs. There's a dishwasher to hand but even with only 6 of us staying we found we could have done with some more. Other than that everything was really well equipped and stocked and the cleaner who came every other day was great. Would definitely consider staying again, it was perfect for our holiday and we loved the location as well.

Heavenly villa in a Greek idyll

The villa was just perfect, spacious, spotless and well equipped, with amazing views towards the mountains of Albania. We loved the pool and the Barbecue especially.Don was very helpful and his restaurant Porto Nuovo in the harbour is fabulous! it is worth hiring a car from the airport, we used Cosmos Cars, as it is an hour along windy roads to the villa and lots to see and do in the area of Kassiopi. We can highly recommend Fillipo's boats to hire for a day to sail around the coast, and Arena stables for horseriding. All very safe and high quality. We had our grandchildren aged 13 and and 4 and it was all fabulous for them. The restaurants by the harbour are wonderful, lots of choice. we spent 2 days walking in the hills, once up Pantokratos from the old village at Acharavi and another day to the deserted village of Perethia. in spring the meadows are just incredible full of flowers and lots of trees in blossom. the village of Perethia is worth a visit, as it is really interesting with a number of lovely tavernas, with views over the sea. just heavenly. It was the Greek Orthodox Easter while we were there, so lots of celebrations including red eggs! The most beautiful place I have been to, and the Corfiot people are just so friendly.

Beautiful villa in a stunning location.

Cannot rate this villa high enough. The location is perfect. Breathtakingly beautiful view of the sea. 2 minute walk to a stunning pebble beach. 10 mins walk from kassiopi centre. Which has many excellent restaurants. Shops, plenty of supermarkets, cafes and a beautiful harbour close by. Cannot recommend the location any more. The villa itself is perfect, has everything you could possibly need. Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Pool is fantastic, great size, comfortable lounges and the views to die for. Don the owner is an added bonus! Lovely man who was on hand to help with anything, from delivering water to organising airport transfers, he was a fantastic help. Can't wait to return to this villas and the beautiful and relaxing Kassiopi.

Fabulous villa for our family of 8

We had an amazing time at Villa Spiros. Don was so welcoming and helpful. The villa had so many different spaces which worked with 6 adults and our two children. The pool space was fabulous too! The villa was clean and had most things we needed. We did have to buy dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, soap and washing machine detergent. We headed out to Don's restaurant - Taverna Lavernda. Amazing food and hospitality - we were really looked after. 10 minute walk to the centre of Kassiopi which was hot in the middle of the day but an easy walk really. I highly recommend Villa Spiros!

Gorgeous villa

We had a lovely week in Villa Spiros and didnt want to leave!! Can't recommend it enough. The views are beautiful with balconies on every room and plenty enough space for our family of eight. Don the owner is a lovely guy, he arranged our airport transfer and when we arrived had supplied bread, milk, coffee and other essentials. We also visited his restaurant in town...the food was stunning, he takes time to check in on you and make sure everything is okay, on our day of departure he came to say goodbye. If you choose to stay in Villa Spiros you won't be disappointed...from the villa a short 10 minute walk along the main road which runs adjacent to the sea and offers great views takes you straight into Kassiopi for restaurants, bars, shops and the beautiful harbour. At the end of the driveway from the villa there's a bus stop where you can catch the bus straight into Corfu town for shopping and sightseeing..the trip takes about 1 hour 15 mins and you have great views of Corfu on the journey. Imerolia beach is across the road from the villa..you'll need beach shoes as it's a shingle beach but the water is lovely. There's also a fish taverna there. All in all the villa is perfectly situated for a fantastic stay in corfu, perfect for families with a great size pool (Don was having a pool heater fitted when we left so great in off peak season too) the villas is large, clean and tastefully decorated with air con/heating. You won't be disappointed!

Great villa in a fantastic location

What can I say, this is just such a perfect place. If, like us, you love the rustic charm of the Greek Isles but like your digs with a bit more luxury then this is for you. The location of the villa couldn't be better, just ten minutes walk to Kassiopi and set back from the road far enough and elevated enough for a wonderfully peaceful setting with an amazing outlook across the sea to the mainland. Don is really helpful, always on hand if you need him. The maid service is excellent and the place is kept really clean. We never repeat a holiday, always preferring to try new places, but we will almost certainly book again next year. Can't recommend highly enough.

Beautiful views and great location

We had a fantastic 2 weeks in this lovely property. The views were stunning, both from the pool and from most rooms in the villa. Lots of space to spread out. The virtually deserted beach, with natural shade, is a short walk at the bottom the road and there is a great Fish Taverna on the beach run by a really friendly family. Perfect for an early morning swim followed by a frappé. We had several meals in there including a large birthday lunch, when the owners provided a delicious cake! Kassiopi is a 10-minute walk straight along the road where there are numerous bars and lots of good tavernas. You can take various different boat trips from here as well - an evening trip to Corfu Town is well worth it. Don was incredibly helpful and friendly and always on hand if needed - bringing big bottles of water to put in the water cooler. I would thoroughly recommend, particularly if you have older teenagers as it is such an easy walk both to the beach and village.

Lovely villa

We booked fairly late in the day for 2 families of 4 (kids aged 10-12) to have a half term break. It's always a chance you take on an internet booking that the accommodation will match what's presented. Villa Spiros met or exceeded the expectations we had in just about everything. Accommodation is on 3 floors with decks and the pool mainly on the upper levels. There's always a place to sit out in the sun or the shade. The views out across the sea towards the mountains of Albania are stunning. The pool was a bit chilly for swimming in late October but the nearest beach is a couple of minutes away and there are great little beaches in secluded coves about 10 minutes walk away. We swam in the sea every day. Don was really helpful and a really nice guy to deal with, he answered all our questions before we arrived, arranged our airport transfer and very thoughtfully got enough food and drink in for our arrival. The villa was cleaned 3 times while we were there and was clean & well presented throughout.

Beautiful villa great location and best views

I stayed here with my children who are all in their early twenties. It was ideal - the villa is spotless, beautiful, peaceful and so well equipped to a high spec with the best views ever, a great pool and most comfy sun beds. Great location as the villa is situated outside the hussle and bustle of Kassiopi but within walking distance of the town, harbour and beaches. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the lane so its easy to visit other resorts ( do not go to Sidari!). Don is so helpful and easy to deal with. Do visit the taverna directly in front of the villa on the seafront - lovely fish . I would highly reccommend this villa - enjoy !!! I dont care about wi fi but the kids do and it worked all the time !!
