Lovely detached villa with private pool on spacious plot

Lovely detached villa on a spacious, quiet, walled and secure plot of 1000 sqm. All on one level, there is a spacious lounge, with fully fitted kitchen (cooker, grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine). Master bedroom with full ensuite, a further double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms, full bathroom, and shower room. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and electric fans.
The villa has a private swimming pool, side terrace with table and chairs, as well as an eating area under the pagoda, and a BBQ. The porch gives a shady place to sit during the day, overlooking the pool, and there is also a TV with DVD player, and stereo in the lounge.
Wifi internet connection.
There is a security camera on the outside of the villa, for your security as well as ours, covering the access to the property.
Being dog lovers ourselves we are happy to accept well behaved dogs. However guests must bring their own dog bedding/blankets/towels, and dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds, or in the pool, and of course any mess must be cleaned up from the grounds. ( a small additional fee will be charged dog for extended clean required and garden inspection for any mess)

We all really enjoyed our stay, it was exactly what we were expecting if anything it was much better. A beautiful pool area where we spent most of our time. Property managers and owners were very helpful and approachable. The villa was spacious and clean with everything you need on your doprstep including groceries, dinner, bars and more. We all highly recommend!

Beautiful villa for a family holiday!

The villa is exactly how you see online in the photographs, it is absolutely beautiful! It is in a very quiet and secluded location perfect for a relaxing week away. We were returning to Torrevieja as a family after over 20 years and this was the perfect place to relive our childhood memories! In our opinion you would need transport to explore the local area as the amenities are a little further than walking distance but this was what we had planned for anyway. The outside space is beautiful the pool is excellent and the outside seating area has shade and sun which is perfect for spending time outside. Internally it has all the amenities you need, washing machine, dishwasher, cooking facilities etc. all in excellent condition it has everything you need as a home from home! Just down the road are some restaurants which we tried out, all of which were lovely with delicious food! We would definitely love to return in the future!

Beautiful Villa

The villa was amazing, exactly what it looked like on the pictures. The place was very clean and prepared for us coming. The communication with Paul (owner of the villa) was spot on also!

Stunning.!!!!!!

This place is amazing.!!!!! Arrived in Spain 4 hours before we could check into villa,called Wendy from airport and because the family before us had a early flight out,she said we could come straight away.The villa itself is huge,the pool is big,and the neighbourhood very well kept.Paul the owner messaged me a few times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.We all had a amazing holiday there,Hopefully we will be back 5 stars ⭐️

Lovely villa

Villa was stunning, the check in process with the villa manager Wendy was quick and easy. Everything was explained clearly and we were left to our holiday. The villa was like a tardis with room for 8 seating areas all around and the pool was lovely if a bit chilly but hey it is March and the weather was shocking all week but in no way taken away from a lovely private gated villa. We would definitely stay again. 5*

Secluded and private getaway

The place is as beautiful as it is advertized. Truly an oasis of calmness, with a large and beautifully landscaped yard, which our dog loved to roam around. Great communications throughout the whole stay!

Relaxing break away in superb surroundings & sunshine

The villa is impressive; beautiful gardens, huge pool, great terraces to eat, sunbathe and relax. The facilities inside are just as impressive with 4 spacious bedrooms with adequate storage, comfy beds and also blinds to keep mid day sun out. Kitchen/dining area well stocked with appliances and vast amounts of crockery and cooking utilities. Local bars and restaurants very welcoming and relatively cheap! Nightly music as well.....we will be returning.

The rain in Spain....

Arriving on Sunday was fine and Jill and Paul kindly agreed to meet us earlier than previously arranged so we could get in and organised. They had provided our food package and were helpful showing us around and detailing what did what etc. The first couple of days the sun shone and we centred on the pool and garden. This was ideal. The pool was large and you could swim. In the evening we sat out under the shade eating and chatting. However, the rains came in the evening and stayed for 2 days which broke up our plans. But the rain continued. The pool was unusable and rose to the edge of the tiles! To cap it all there was a flood locally. The roads were closed and we were unable to go beyond the estate the house is in. Forcing 7 of us to share the house was hard work. Our final full day was not how we had envisaged it. The pool was unusable as it was still flooded. The rain came in showers. We were advised not to use the roof terrace which was a pity. We had to fall back on the house which could use some general updating.

We were in Spain to celebrate a 80th Birthday, and found this Villa. From start the owner Paul was very helpful, and we were very pleased with the Villa. It had everything you needed, and although we went 1st weekend in December the weather was amazing 24Deg. There was 3 bathrooms which was great was great when there are 8 of you. We will definatley use this property again, and cant wait to experience the Swimming Pool which was very tempting. Also the arrangements for collecting keys was very smooth,.

Lovely spacious villa, clean & well maintained on a quiet road in the San Louise area of Torrevieja, fabulous pool, plenty of out door eating areas with new BBQ, all mod cons, 5 -10 minutes walk from good local bars, restaurants supermarket, 20 minutes on the bus to beach resort in Torrevieja with plenty of restaurants & bars.10 minutes walk from the villa is the " Villa Salada" where you can eat & watch a fabulous horse show, if you love horses this show is a must. Down side great pool but not small child friendly, overall great holiday villa for a real chill out holiday.

Wonderful, relaxed oasis

We are just back from a week at La Casa Del Sol. We took our two foster children, aged 9 & 10, and our son, who is 14. The younger children had never been abroad before, so we were quite worried about how they would cope with Spain. It turned out to be the best holiday we have had with them. The villa was spacious and had everything we needed. The pool and grounds were amazing. We reckon the children were in the pool for about six hours most days! There was plenty to do in the area - we hired a car and went into Torrevieja several times in the evenings, we also drove to Calla Cortina and Guardamar del Segura beaches, which were lovely in different ways. Calla Cortina for snorkelling, jumping off rocks etc and Guardamar for the incredibly warm sea and soft sand. We also visited Aquaopolis water park which we thought was good value for money, although when you've got a pool at home…..not sure we really needed to go there. The villa itself was very clean - spotless in fact. Paul, the manager was an excellent guide. We were very pleased we'd arranged for him to pick us up at the airport as he gave us loads of tips about places to eat and visit. He was also helpful with getting us to the car hire office and was always on time and very polite. We felt we could have approached him with any problems which arose - luckily there weren't any. We thoroughly recommend the villa to anybody considering it. We all felt we could escape and find our on space when we needed to, but the communal areas were lovely too. The jewel in the crown is the pool - absolute bliss and really well maintained.

Lovely homely villa with stunning pool and gardens

I arrived with my elderly parents and 3 teenagers and we absolutely loved it from start to finish.Well equipped villa with a stunning pool and gardens. Great service from the agents who were on time to the minute and prompt to deal with any requests. A very quiet area, perfect for us and the free WI FI was useful for the younger members.We hired a car for convenience mostly , visiting a couple of beaches and doing food shopping but the car was parked in the drive on the whole as we were so happy staying by this gorgeous pool. Near by town, Torreveija, was easily reached by taxi or bus so that teenagers can dip into a bit of night life if they want to. Stunning Pink salt lakes within 10 mins walk fascinated me and my camera got plenty of use . We mostly BBQ'd (gas ) but did try a couple of the local restaurants ..Indian ,Chinese ,Chicken shack and fabulous Tapas . The local water park was also great fun and suitable for teenagers ,there is another for younger kids but we didn't try that obviously . On the whole a fabulous villa , a wonderful place for a family holiday ..safe ,clean and no fighting for sunbeds in a morning . Cant wait to go again ASAP ....

Great family holiday Villa

Having visited the area before, we were keen to find a villa that catered for a family, this was ideal. Great location, away from the main tourist noise but close enough to enjoy the local attractions. The villa was clean and fully equipped, we hired a car and were met by the managers, who were friendly and informative. The pool was great, the gardens pretty and plenty of parking for the hire car. The villa has several bars and restaurants within walking distance, however we visited Torrevieja and Guandamar, which we loved. The beaches are clean and the bars good value for money. We did eat in the villa, just 10 minutes walk away is a Mercadona, whilst the staff don't speak english, you can get everything you need. The villa has everything you need for cooking a family meal. We will definately being visiting again and can highly recommend. The owners make the booking process simple and straight forward.

Super house, area, property, the lot.

Nice and clean, plenty of space inside and outside not the least, a space for anyone to sit for oneself if wanted. Perfect for people with walking difficulties, perfect for everyone sort of speak. We were welcomed by nicest representives there is, Mr and Mrs Paul and Gill Matthews. Plus their daughter. All very welcoming, nice, helpful,only good things to say by a Norwegian who has travelled a lot all over the world. I recommend this property the warmest.

Perfect Getaway

Best holiday we could of asked for. Beautiful villa, obviously well looked after and loved. Facilities were perfect and the location was ideal. Supermarket was close by (walking distance) and there was a bank and a few restaurants for the evenings. I would 100% recommend this villa to anyone. We had never stayed in a villa before and now I don't think we'd stay anywhere else! Loads to do nearby. We went to the Aquapolis (excuse spelling) which was a fantastic waterpark in Torrevieja. So much fun for kids and adults, was quite pricey so make a day of it (we picked a really hot day). Wanted to go back as soon as we left, thank you so much for a perfect getaway! See you again as soon as money allows!

Perfect Holiday

I have never been on a Villa Holiday before this was the family’s first attempt. Villa was perfect, lovely and clean with enclosed secure gardens and a fantastic clean pool. The surrounding area has everything you need within walking distance, Bars, Places to Eat and a Supermarket. The beach is a bus ride away or walkable if you’re an adult. Highly recommended and I will definitely be going back.

Lawrence Family Holiday

Myself, Husband and three children had a wonderful week’s holiday, the villa was immaculately clean and well laid out. The outside area is beautiful with comfortable sun loungers and a lovely shaded seated area ideal for eating outside; we also took advantage of the BBQ.The pool was clean and very well maintained and a great size for a family to use. Unlike other villa we have stayed in, in the past the villa had a great range of kitchen equipment and washing machine. The bedrooms were all of a good size with the master bedroom having a really big ensuite . We found loads to do in the area great beaches near by, we also had some lovely meals out in local restaurants and with a supermarket within walking distance it made it easy to cook at the villa when we wanted to. All in all we had a fantastic week in a beautiful villa well situated.

Boys Week. (2 Dads & 2 Sons)

Had stayed in San Luis several times previously, but always in apartments, so we were really looking forward to staying in a nice villa. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! The villa is stunning, set in a large well maintained garden with its own fabulous pool. There is also an outside dining area with barbecue which will be brilliant in the hot Summer months. The interior was spotlessly clean & well equipped with everything needed for the perfect self catering holiday. The local managers Paul & Gill are only a phone call away if required to solve any problems. Fortunately we did not need them as everything was perfect. Although San Luis is a quiet peaceful area it has lots of great bars & restaurants, the nearest being Casa Ventura about 100yds away where they serve a roast Sunday lunch (beef pork or chicken) for under 5euros. There is a large supermarket (Mercadona) 2mins drive away, or a 5min drive takes you to the huge Carrefour hypermarket. There are good makets at La Mata 15min drive or the huge Torievieja market 10 min drive. There is a lovely beach at Guardamar 15min drive away. The local people of San Luis are a real friendly lot, & we have made friends with many of them on our visits. San Luis is a great place for a nice relaxing holiday, & La Casa Del Sol is the perfect place to spend it! We will be back for sure!

A great place to stay..!

We had two families staying for one week (4 adults & 4 kids aged 12,13,14,16). The owners were excellent with communication, very happy to help with any questions and I felt very assured when organising. The villa is very spacious to cope with 8 and the bedrooms being good sizes with an excellent on-suite off the main bedroom. Good size kitchen which was linked to the main lounge and a side door to an outside eating area. TV and DVD, all main UK channels inc Disney Channel for the kids. We met the local managers at the villa (Paul and Gill) who showed us round and were happy to help with any questions we had. They also sorted out an internet dongle for my laptop which kept the kids happy of an evening (Facebook!). The pool is definitely the gem of this villa. The kids absolutely loved it! (as too did the adults!) and it really did make a difference having your own private pool on those hot days n nights. Remember you need to use the outside shower to remove any sun cream before entering the pool as it could leave a film on the water. This is a residential area and can be very quite of an evening. Our neighbour did like to play his music (the ‘best’ of A-Ha ?!) during the day and we could hear it when he left his windows open. But he would turn it down/off in the evening. You need a car to get around. We drove to the beach a few times (lots to choose from), did the market on the Friday and went into the town centre another (with a Fun Fair, a night market and lots of restaurants along the front). If you want to hit the town for a drink, jump a local taxi (approx 12euros one way). Paul recommended a great (n very cheap) Chinese restaurant five mins drive away, ask him for details.. I agree with the rest of the reviews, it’s a great place to relax and unwind and we all felt very safe in the villa. We were all very happy to sit out in the sun most days and BBQ most evenings just chilling while the kids still found time to go for an evening swim… It’s not near any resorts and with only a few of bars within walking distance don’t expect a Benidorm night life, but I do recommend the Karaoke on a Thursday night at Bar Kenz! Things to improve?..possibly table tennis as there’s loads of space to have one outside and would help keep teenagers amused of an evening. Overall – really great value for money, very spacious, relaxing and an amazing pool… hence 5 stars....Paul, Helen thanks

Perfect VIlla for a Relaxing Holiday

Well - what can I say, apart from the villa was perfect for our 2 families who were wanting a relaxing holiday in the sun. Too good in fact as none of us wanted to come home!! The villa has everything that you need and the surrounding area is perfect with shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The bus stop was a just round the corner from the villa so not far if you wanted to venture further afield. We will be back again as I could not think of a more perfect place to stay.

Our 4 day stay at La Casa Del Sol

What an outstanding place to stay! So much room! Very large plot with a spacious pool and outside area. All excellently maintained throughout. The Pool is fabulous - a good temperature and very clean. All four bedrooms and three bathrooms are of a good spec. The gardens are lovely and add to the serenity, peace and tranquility of La Casa del Sol. We only had a four day break here but the location of the villa is great for the lovely local beach (10 mins by car or a short walk via the salt lake). Mountains are but a short drive away should you fancy a hike. The bustling town and market is about 20 mins by car and should suit the needs of most ages from 4 to 84! There is a local "Bodega" close to the villa for warm bread, milk and newspapers (for those who need to know what's going on in the rest of the world!). In my opinion the only thing that the villa needs air-conditioning, and this apparently is being installed later this year - so we'll definitely be back! Thanks very much to the owners Paul and Helen for excellent communication throughout the booking process and for the very detailed booklet which we found on our arrival.

The villa was bought by Helens dad Jim back in 1995 and we now rent the villa out to enable us to keep our special place..
