Family/Friends Vacation

Firstly I’d like to say that Communication with Harold is prompt and helpful. The Villa is very nice just like the pictures. We stayed here for 2 weeks. The kitchen is very well Equipped and the beds were comfy. There were a few issues such as the ice and water dispenser doesn’t work, and although we reported this on the 2 day it never got fixed, Also one of the beds upstairs is broken you lie on it and the headboard side collapses. My Son in law had to try and fix it. The mesh around the pool area has some holes in it and we was inundated with Flies every day, u cannot sit outside and eat as they land on your food. This was very Annoying. We also had cockroaches by the pool and inside the house. We reported this to Harold and on the day before we left they came to treat the hse. So a few issues, but in my opinion Harold the owner is very happy to help you with any problems, I believe the Management company does not do him justice as the people who did come to the villa were not very professional and didn’t have a clue what they were doing. Overall it’s a lovely Villa and we had a good time. I would stay again if the Mesh was fixed outside to stop the flies.

An Enjoyable Stay

We recently stayed here as a family of three generations and therefore needed a good amount of space and this villa provided that. The villa is spacious, private and beautiful to look at but is showing signs of tiredness and in need of some TLC and modernisation. The carpets in particular need replacing. The check in process was excellent and we liked the idea of being keyless. The pool area is lovely and we enjoyed the conservation views and the herons that walked past every day. The community was tidy, well presented and felt very safe. There are some inconsiderate neighbours who play loud music until late, the gate house refused to help. The club house and pool is great. Harold responded very quickly with any messages and queries which we were grateful for. We have stayed at Watersong before and love the community itself but wouldn’t stay there again due to the sheer amount of traffic in the area which means that it takes well in excess of a hour each way to the theme parks which is unfortunate.

After a busy few days in New Orleans getting married, the villa was the perfect place to relax with family. Pool is lovely, lots of space and had everything we needed.

Fantastic family holiday

We really enjoyed our stay at Watersong. The house was clean and comfortable, we had lots of space to relax and found the environment calm after busy days at the theme parks. The house was in a great location and we could easily reach everywhere we wanted and were close to good supermarkets. We all loved the pool and the games room. Harold was a great host and responded quickly to any of our questions. We hope to return again soon!

Very enjoyable visit, despite a few problems in the beginning

Indeed a very enjoyable staying. Unfortunately the pool heater was broken upon arrival, caused by a very rainy week prior our visit. However our host Harold had already been ahead of this and wrote me a message that it would be fixed within short time, very positive. Would in fact point out the quality in the communication before, and during our visit with Harold. Any questions was answered within very short time. Only thing I would have seen a bit different is the state of the game room. It is beginning to show it signs of being used a lot, and some of the games could need a replacement/ brush up, but we really are in the minors now. I would anytime recommend this house and it’s host, and would gladly enjoy another week here.

Wonderful Second Stay

Well we returned to this villa after having a wonderful stay back in May. It had plenty of room for the extended family who accompanied us this time. We loved everything about it and would have no hesitation returning again next year. The owner, Harold, is extremely helpful and responsive and having stayed in many villas over the years, you cannot underestimate the importance of this! If you refer to my previous review, I went into greater detail and everything in that review still applies.

Perfect Property. Perfect Location

What a lovely house! We've been staying on Watersong at least a couple of times a year since the very first houses were built so we've stayed in quite a few. We are familiar with the layouts and varying styles and quality of decor and equipment. We are very discerning and always choose the houses we stay in very carefully. Acacia Grove is furnished beautifully, in a cool, restful contemporary style and exudes luxury. All the rooms are of a great size and we loved the bathroom/bedroom configuration, with most being en-suite. This makes it a great house not only for single families, but for a number of families holidaying together as there's plenty of privacy. Downstairs, there are two large living areas. We've often found that house with 5 or 6 bedrooms are created at the expense of the living space (i.e. Lots of bedrooms often equals less living space). Not here though! The living areas are spacious and well-furnished with plenty of comfortable seating and there are two dining tables- one in the kitchen and a beautiful formal table in its own large dining area. There are smart TV's in all the bedrooms, an x-box upstairs together with two comfortable gaming type chairs (which would not look out of place in a contemporary lounge). The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed, including lots of plastic plates and cups for poolside dining. Talking of poolside... this area is a great size, with plenty of room for relaxing both in and out of the sun as there is a large shaded area which has an outdoor dining table. We loved relaxing in the spa and pool. Although we didn't get the chance to use it, there is also a well equipped games room which I am sure we will use in August when we are coming with a larger family group. Yes, we loved it so much we have already booked our second stay and are hoping to book for 2018. I can highly recommend this fabulous house. Also, the owner, Harold, is extremely helpful and responsive.

Family fun March 2025

Stayed for the month of March. 6 bedroom with a pool suited our needs perfectly. Our sons and families came separate school break weeks. The house was a great size for up to 11 people a few days. We paid for pool heat, required with the kids to really enjoy the pool. Overall, everyone had a blast. Lots of grocery stores nearby, especially liked El Zocalo supermarket in Haines City, great butcher and fresh cut meats. We will return.

Great stay

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our large group. Communication with the owner was open and easy. Only issue was the traffic getting to the parks, but if course that was gonna be a problem no matter where you stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay the property manager stay in contact with any issues we had everything we needed was in home even a Christmas tree we was gonna bring one but couldn’t fit in the car we got there it was one there that made our day. Only problem was the parking it was 10 of us you cant have over 3 vehicles but we know next time but other than that everything was great Thank you Harold

Great place

The property itself is a gem. Nice big house, 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths, pool and game room! Myself and 6 of my friends stayed the weekend here to attend Halloween horror nights and we all had such a great time. Somethings do need t be updated, we found the chairs for the main dining room table to be uncomfortable simply because they were kind of like rocking chairs. We found it odd for a dining room table. We noticed some of the TV's were hanging on the wall like a picture frame or painting. The only thing holding it up was a wire. Made us feel uneasy. Praying it didn't fall while we stayed there. Other than that, house is great. I would definitely stay here again. 30 minutes from Disney and Universal.

Loved it with some exceptions

Location great, great for a big family and clean I didn’t like the parking situation, the house book said we could park on the street but the guard said we’d be towed. Thank GOD they helped us. Toilet paper was not a new roll in any bathroom, had no idea I would have to shop for toilet paper. We ran out the first night. Odd that there wouldn’t be a new roll for us. No trash bags and mandatory to wash towels but we had to buy detergent. Not a huge deal but you need to know what to get before arriving.

Fantastic Vacation Home

We had stayed at this beautiful house in April with 10 family members ages 5 all the way to 70. Everyone had their own space and a washroom which was such a bonus. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were so nice, clean and as shown in the pictures. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Harold was so quick to respond to any of our (small) issues and they were resolved immediately. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency and didn’t get to stay the full two weeks but again, Harold was so helpful and understanding to our unfortunate circumstances. This isn’t a home to miss, we hope to come back and redo our vacation at this beautiful home one day!

Nice property. Well appointed. Needed laundry detergent and TV system was difficult to deal with at first. But we were a small group of veterans in our late 70s, so all we really wanted was a comfortable place to stay while we reminisced and looked at old pictures, and this got it done just fine.

Make Sure if u $pay for heating for pool area make sure it's on B4 u arrive!!!

Its a mediocre home game area needs updating some broken things and make sure if pay for the heating for the pool area it's on before u get there MY GRANDBABY AND NEPHEW AND NIECE FREEZED THE WHOLE STAY..THERE KIDS THEY SEE A POOL U KNOW THE REST THEY NEVER TURNED ON THE HEAT EVEN AFTER BEING TOLD AFTER BEING REFUNDED FOR THE HEAT IT WOULD BE ON THE REST OF OUR STAY..IT NEVER HAPPENED THE KIDS START GETTING BLUE IN THE FACE I HAD TO MAKE THE GET BECAUSE THEY WERE SO COLD BUT WANTED TO PLAY...LEFT MY GOLD WATCH THERE CONTACTED HAROLD TO LET HIM KNOW AND OF COURSE THE CLEANING CREW DIDN'T FIND IT 😂😂 SO IT WASN'T GOOD STAY FOR ME AND MY FAMILY SO RENT AT YOUR ON RISK HERE!!!!

Someone who has stayed at self catering properties for years and really appreciated people who have opened their vacation homes to us. We in turn have done the same and wish others to enjoy and look after the Beautiful Acacia Grove whilst they are there.

Why they chose this property

This is a beautiful property on a large plot with kerb appeal and a beautiful conservation view from the pool deck. At this property you are close enough to the theme parks, east and west coast beaches and other local attractions. Its a lovely place to relax after a long day out at the attractions. There are many places to go out for dining nearby, Hungry Howies Pozza is a few minutes drive as is also the relatively new Publx Supermarket. We have also found that it is equally nice to just stay at the villa and go for a walk around the resort and visit the clubhouse or drive a little south into Davenport or further to Haines City.
