About this property

The Lodge is a pretty villa in a quiet residential area, not overlooked, set in beautiful gardens with its own private swimming pool (4x8m), in the foothills above Paphos and Coral Bay. WIFI and air-conditioning are included. It has two bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom. (2 bathrooms in total) There are beamed cathedral ceilings throughout the property making it feel light and spacious. Outside is a large shaded terrace overlooking the pool and a view of the sea. There is also an additional outdoor kitchen area with built-in barbeque and additional seating area.
The centre of Tala is a 10/15 minute walk away where you will find a small selection of traditional tavernas, bars, restaurants and small shops.

On your day of departure, if your flight is later in the day, it may be possible for you to stay at The Lodge later than the normal check out time but this needs to be agreed beforehand.
Installed for your safety are smoke alarm/detector and carbon-monoxide alarm. There is also a burglar alarm installed which is optional.

Wonderful Tala Paphos Quiet

Very welcoming, perfect as a quiet place to stay, easy to find, places to eat within walking distance, lovely pool and patio. Perfect for a couple/ small family break.

Escape in the hills

I can say with confidence that this is one of the best stays I have had using any holiday home service. The home is quiet and tucked away in the hills of Tala. Myself, and my in-laws were there for a wedding in Paphos, and it was a perfect way to escape all the noise and have some quiet time for ourselves. The house is well appointed, and has all the amenities you could want. The check in process was very simple, and we really appreciate Melanie staying up late to let us in when our flight arrived later than expected. The whole stay was lovely. Highly recommend.

Perfect bliss!

Lovely spacious villa with everything provided. Great view and a splendid pool which was a godsend in the heat. Very chilled country area. Kids had a great time too and Tala’s restaurants were fabulous. Not far from Paphos and Coral Bay so very well situated. All in all…fantastic.

Peaceful and Tranwuil

Very peaceful location but still only 15 mins from Paphos. Beautiful gardens very private, great facilities. Stayed for a week wound of loved to have stayed longer 😂 Would recconend for sure. Get a car to get out a d explore. Good choice of restaurants nearly and Lidl supermarket is 10min drive away. A home from home but without the U.K. rain!

Wonderful property

This house is a home, its comfortable, clean, peaceful and very well placed for getting around. The owner and property managers can't do enough for you if needed. Would recommend staying here without hesitation. We had a lovely relaxing 3 week stay here.

Wonderfully peaceful stay

We stayed at this property for a week whilst visiting relatives in the area. The house itself is set away from other properties but within a 10 minute walk of bars and restaurants. The pool area and veranda are beautiful with views of the sea, the only sound we heard when sitting out here was the birds, incredible relaxing. The house itself is more a home than a rental, some may call it slightly old fashioned , but we found it really comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need , including pool toys and loads of loo roll! The super king bed was a great feature, really unusual in a rental and very comfortable The property managers met us on arrival and showed us around which was a nice touch. Probably one if the best holiday lets that we have stayed in and if relaxation and peace and quiet are what you are looking for this is definitely it!

An island oasis in Tala!

We had the pleasure of staying this week at the lodge and had an amazing experience. The property was well equipped and felt like a comfortable home rather than a cold rental property. The outdoor areas were wonderful and was great to come home after a day touring to swim in the pool and BBQ surrounded by the lush garden. Debbie was incredibly helpful during the booking process as were Melanie and Paul welcoming when we arrived. We would happily stay here again when visiting Cyprus! Thank you!

Villa in Tala

We had 2 weeks in the villa which was kitted out with everything we needed, one thing I would mention is the outsideTable and chairs were a bit dated and there were always ants all over it no matter if we washed it or not so was unsuitable for us plus we never liked the overgrown tree/creeper plant that was over the top of the pergola, as I say this it is a personal opinion and not a complaint, loved the pool and the location was walkable to Tala but needed a car to get to Coral bay and Paphos, Deborah the owner had great communication with us and was really helpfull with instructions, all in all a great place to stay

Beautiful villa in a quiet and peaceful village of Tala

We have the most relaxing stay in this villa. Tala is a beautiful and quiet part of Cyprus and would definitely recommend if you want to get away from the tourist areas. A rental car is also recommended as it would be quiet costly to commute to the beach and supermarkets. The villa was clean and had plenty of space for a family of 4. The pool was great and the kids loved it and would be playing to the early evening. The villa is not overlooked and the well kept gardens provide privacy from the road. The only let down was the BBQ, as ideally is may be due an upgrade, but we would not let that stop us from returning to this villa. We had the warmest of welcomes from Melanie & Paul, allowing for an early check in. Thank you so much for letting us rent your beautiful villa for the our family holiday that we give us the most lovely memories to remember 💜💛💚🧡❤️

Our second stay at The Lodge

This was our second stay at The Lodge in Tala, having had such a wonderful time previously. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that Deborah has made some improvements to the property, including brand new air conditioning. The Lodge is the perfect villa for what we are looking for in a holiday. It's in a beautiful quiet location, not at all over-looked and is just a short drive, or slightly longer walk to the gorgeous village square, which has a few places to get a bite to eat or a drink. The Lodge is well maintained and has all the amenities you need. A real home from home. Deborah is a wonderful host. She always replies to messages promptly and does all she can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

We have had a wonderful stay at The Lodge, really comfortable little villa, all mod cons you would find at home, just ideal. Weather was great, people very friendly, lovely restaurants in the village and further afield in Paphos. Lovely quiet neighbourhood and have just had the most relaxing time. Paul who met us at the villa on arrival was charming and gave us some handy tips re supermarkets, beaches etc. A wonderful holiday had by all!

Lovely comfortable villa

This is a lovely villa, so comfortable with everything you need. Location is excellent, 5-10 minute walk to the local village with a range of restaurants and Mario’s bar with the cheapest drinks and best service in Cyprus.

The Lodge

Everything was as described, the beds were extremely comfortable and the pool was more than we expected. The weather was very hot, averaged 38 degrees so walking about was kept to a minimum. Melanie and Paul were so helpful. It was one of the best villas we have stayed in

Perfect villa in a perfect spot

This is our fifth visit to this villa and it just gets better. The villa is in a great spot....beautiful views, 15 minute walk into Tala where there are restaurants and bars and tho it's close to town it's setting is peaceful and secluded. The villa is extremely well resourced meaning you're not having to shop for the more basic items. Additionally shopping can be requested to be in place for your arrival. A bonus if like us you arrive late at night / early morning. Fly screens are fitted at each window, and very effective fans meant that for us in September we didn't use the air conditioning. The villa, pool and gardens are very well cared for by the support team. There are lots of beautiful villages locally to explore. The coast and Paphos are a short drive away. Thanks to the owner and her support team for another wonderful stay. We shall return.

Can not wait to return

Could not fault this beautiful villa in Tala. Spotlessly clean, spacious, fully equipped with everything you’ll need, in a quiet area but walking distance to the village which has several excellent bars and restaurants. The gardens and pool area are relaxing and private and we can’t wait to get back there next year.

A little slice of heaven

The whole experience could not be simpler and once you are there it is so relaxing. Amazing view, beautiful garden and so peaceful. Close to lots of amenities. Couldn’t ask for more .

Cyprus get away

Fabulous location if you are looking for a quiet relaxing break without the usual clamour of the tourist crowd. The people of the area are welcoming and warm and go out of their way to help The property is in a fabulous setting with all amenities and the owner very close by if you have any issues. At the same time there is no intrusiveness from the owner. A perfect relaxing holiday that I did not want to leave
