This luxury 3-bedroom and 3-bathrooms villa is in a quiet setting only 35 meters from the beach and private overflowing swimming pool with magical sea views from the west side of villa.
Live unforgettable moments of happiness and relaxation: private enclosed garden throughout with , trees, shrubs and flowers.The swimming pool with overflowing and is 32m2 (1,50m deep) and it is surrounded with grass and offering sea views from west side .Also there is children's pool .Separate sunbathing, relaxing and dining areas. High quality sun loungers,sofas and other casual seating.
The pool can be heated with an extra cost, ask us for more information.
The accommodation is on 2 levels: the ground floor has a spacious open plan living area with fireplace,comfy sofas,satellite t.V., music/radio, 1 dining area for 6- 8 persons,1 separate w.C. And fully equipped kitchen including fridge/freezer, oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and espresso/filter coffee maker.
The first master bedroom has a double bed and luxurious en-suite bathroom with bath,w.c. The bedroom has glass with beautiful views to the swimminig pool.
The second Bedroom has twin beds(convertible to king).
On the first floor there is the third bedroom. Master bedroom has double bed and luxurious en-suite bathroom with shower, wc and washbasin. The bedroom has glass door to a large covered balcony with superb sea and mountain views and to the swimming pool.All bedrooms have their own air condioting units, are big enough and meet high standards of quality as the linens and matresses have been carefully selected.
ENVIRIOMENTAL TAX:
From 2024, as stated in article 53 of Law 4389/2016 (A’ 94), there is a resilience fee to the climate crisis that is 15€ per night/villa from April to October
and 4€ per night/villa from November to March. This fee will be paid upon your arrival in cash.

Outstanding

I had a wonderful stay at this holiday rental in Heraklion. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing trip. The terrace was a highlight—perfect for morning coffee with a great view of the sea. It’s in a quiet area but still close to local markets and beaches, which made exploring easy. The mix of modern amenities and a bit of local character made it feel welcoming and homely. Would definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

We have just returned from an AMAZING family holiday. Villa Posidonia was exactly as described in its listing and previous review speak the truth! It was so well presented inside and out. The villa itself is situated in a little place called Nopegia. Literally 30 seconds walk and you can visit two lovely tavernas, Ble and Porfina. We dined in both and enjoyed both but Ble was more relaxed and suited to us and the children. 35 seconds walk from the villa and you are on the beach! Sun beds are available. The beach is a mix of pebbles and sand. Once over the pebbles into the sea is it sandy. The sea was warm and pleasant to swim in. We spent most of our time relaxing by the villa pool. The outside area was just perfect for us. A 10 minute taxi ride takes you into Kissamos where there are supermarkets and restaurants. Each day a baker comes near to the villa so listen out for his car horn. He sells fresh bread and baked treats daily. We were also lucky enough to catch a fresh fruit van a couple of times too. This review is not complete without mentioning the owner, Ria. She was an AMAZING host. She greeted us at the villa when we arrived and prepared to have some food items like fruit, water and milk for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was able to arrange our transfer to and from Chania airport (about 45 minutes). The driver who collected us gave us his company details and we were able to send WhatsApp messages if we needed taxis. Ria was simply marvellous.

Fantastic stay

My family group consisting of 4 adults and 2 children have just stayed at this fantastic villa. The villa itself is beautiful, very well equipped and superbly appointed. We were met by Ria the owner who gave us a very warm welcome and some very nice arrival gifts. The pool is fantastic and my grandchildren used it non stop throughout our stay. The location is great and the beach is just yards away and 3 nice bars/restaurants are a few minutes walk away, also a mobile baker and fruit van visit several times a week. We had transport and enjoyed our visits to Chania with its restaurants and sights. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone definitely worth 5+ stars.

Great stay in this villa with lofty interior & good outside living spaces, kept immaculately

Had a lovely week stay here. The owner Ria was very caring and hospitable. It’s a shame the immediate area is a bit scruffy with the building opposite & ones further along under construction, but the villa is well screened & quiet with fabulous views from the pool & upstairs bedroom . The local beach is stone & sand & good for a swim. The Local taverna on the seafront served good food including fresh fish (another local fish restaurant was not open until the next week). We walked 10 minutes to another taverna which was also very good. Kissamos was a short drive & we liked the town where there were more seafront restaurants. The famous beaches of Falassarna were 25 minutes drive. Elafonissi beach was a more difficult drive through an impressive gorge & well worth the trip. We wished we’d had longer!!!

Amazing villa, fabulous holiday

Great for a relaxing holiday

Beautiful quiet spot, we loved having three tavernas just over the road right on the beach. Great sunsets from the balcony, plenty of shade, Ria was super welcoming and helpful, lovely touches eg shampoo and conditioner and basic condiments provided on arrival. Villa is beautifully decorated and maintained. Easy drive to beautiful Falassarna beach about 25 mins away. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Little oasis of calm

We had a wonderful time at Ria’s villa. The villa was very well equipped with everything you could ask for, from olive oil, juice, tea and coffee, milk, soaps and more. Everything was clean and the villa and pool looked even better in real life. The 3 tavernas were a 2 minute walk (Porfina was our favourite) which was great as you didn’t have to drive in the evenings. Ria brought freshly baked cakes and cookies during the week which were delicious and a very lovely touch. We didn’t swim at the Nopigia beach during our stay as it was quite windy on a few days, but spent most of our time at Falassarna beach which is an easy drive, and quite magical. You will need a car to get around. We highly recommend this villa for a chilled out holiday with stunning views.

After waiting over two years for our holiday, the villa did not disappoint! The accommodation throughout is stunning, perfectly located with outstanding views. Quiet, secluded, luxurious and a wonderful owner who was always available if we needed anything. A perfect family holiday and we would recommend the villa to friends, family and anyone who wishes to visit the beautiful island of Crete; we did not want to leave! Beautiful villa

We were very comfortable in the villa and Ria, our host, was most attentive and had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable - even dropping off apple pie for my family to celebrate the Ohi Day festival. It was beautifully clean and very close to the beach. The only negative point was that my two teenagers found the twin beds uncomfortable in the third bedroom. Other than that, we had a wonderful time despite poor weather all week.

Beautiful Holiday

This is a v comfortable, pretty villa in an AMAZING location. We have travelled extensively, but this villa and the location blew us away. The villa is very well located, 20 metres from the beach with sea views, a secluded bay with crystal clear water. 2 tavernas 50 metres from the house which also provide beach beds free of charge. You sleep to the sound of the waves, and wake up to a lovely private patio and pool area. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, the hostess Ria has thought of everything, and is on hand within a minutes notice to answer questions and to provide anything else you may need. Kissamos, the nearest town, is about 6 minutes by car and has everything you may need. One note: The area is quiet, so this is not somewhere for International restaurants and big nightlife, but more for an authentic Greek experience in an unspoilt and uncommercialised area. We would absolutely recommend, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Ria for such a lovely stay.

Wonderful holiday at Villa Posidonia

We had a fantastic week at Villa Posidonia. The villa has everything you need and is exceptionally comfortable. We were two families each with 15 year olds. We made a few excursions, including to the wonderful Falarsana Beach, but in reality we loved the small village where the villa is located. It was quiet, even though it was high season. Choose between the pool or a 10 second walk to the local beach and in the evening there is a nice bar serving cocktails and a taverna with a decent menu of tasty local dishes. Perfect for enjoying the spectacular views while the sun sets. Car hire is essential as the village is quite remote (45 mins from Chania Airport) and trips to Kissamos (10 mins) for supermarkets and a wider choice of places to eat. A special mention to the owner Ria and her daughter Angela who were so welcoming and friendly. Crete is a very magical place and we are already planning a return visit.

Another wonderful stay at this lovely villa

This was our second stay with Ria at the villa Posidonia. Nopigia is a small beach resort with the warmest sea ever - a gently shelving sandy beach (although a few stones at the start so water shoes are a help!) and a perfect beach bar - relaxed and great food with a beautiful view! The villa is spacious and beautifully kept - with two good sized double bedrooms and a twin. Each of the doubles has a good bathroom/shower room and the fittings and finishing of the whole house is to a very high standard. There is ample storage space and lots of sumptuous towels and dressing gowns! The outside areas are great with a high balcony outside the master bedroom to watch the waves and the sunset and a relaxing garden/deck area with plenty of shade/sun around the lovely pool. There is a real feel of a garden, with privacy and well tended grass and shrubs - and a barbecue if you feel drawn! Ria is a wonderful host - fresh fruit, wine, milk, water, juice, oil, raki and honey on arrival and several delicious cakes during our stay. She is available easily through the booking process and is on hand if you need anything during your stay. She is also a thoroughly lovely human - with a great sense of warmth and ease. don't miss the amazing baker who comes every day except Sunday to deliver the most spectacular range of breads and sweet treats - yum! Finally, there is easy walking into Kissamos (about 3 miles) and to a minimarket in the local town of drapanias - only about 1.5 miles away. Kissamos has lots of choices of restaurants and useful shops along with beach and in the older main town street. Mavros Molos beach is great - really brilliant for smaller children - with a very flat safe beach and lots of facilities. overall this is a terrific place to holiday - very laid back and easy - and we would definitely recommend it. Thanks Ria - we had another fabulous time!

A wonderful, welcoming villa!

We had spent a week at a resort before coming to the villa. Upon our arrival, we were thrilled with our choice. Ria was very communicative through the whole process and met us when we arrived. She explained everything about the house and location and welcomed us with a little care package of food. We spent days lounging in the pool, taking walks and enjoying the sea. The taverna near the villa was wonderful and we spent many nights there watching the sunset. The villa itself was impeccable. It had everything that you could possibly need to cook a wonderful meal. We each had our own room when we needed a break and the AC was wonderful for the hot evenings! I can't say enough about what a wonderful stay we had at the Villa Posidonia! We WILL BE BACK

Wonderful house and beach!

The house is faultless; beautifully clean and everything you need is there. Ria is very helpful and offers advice on where to eat etc. Lovely pool and comfortable loungers, shade for when you need it and cool bedrooms. Cannot recommend it more highly! The beach is only footsteps away and was the warmest sea we found. Quite calm, so good for swimming. Lovely area...boat trips from Kissamos, supermarkets in Kissamos and best restaurant by far is Maracaibo. Fabulous food, service and prices! Apart from Nopigia, the best beach is Farlassarna beach because the sea is sandy with no rocks, so better for the feet. Balos is beautiful, but treacherous to get into the sea!

Beautiful views, peaceful, rural, locals were wonderful.

The property was immaculate and beautifully decorated with cleaning service every three days. The pool was well maintained and it was a joy to watch the swallows swoop down in the evening to take a drink. The master suite, on the second floor, with its large balcony has breathtaking sunset views across the bay and is a very private space. We spent most of our time eating on the terrace at a nice wooden dinning eoim table next to the pool. There is a barbacue our the back to grill fish and a good hanging rack for wet bathing suits. The washing machine is upstairs in the master suite bathroom. Although there is not a folder of information this was not missed as the wonderful land lady lives next door and is full of help and advise if needed. She could not have been more friendly, helpful and generous. A veritable mine of information as she and her husband were born and brought up in the area. The beach is hardly used so a nice respite from the popular areas - just bring water shoes to negociate a small band of pebbles, at the waterline, when getting into the sea where there is a sandy bottom. We had a wonderful holiday here with our elderly mother.

We absolutely loved the villa and the location. The pictures on the website were a true reflection of the villa- it is brand new, very clean and with all the amenities you could possibly need. We had an amazing time there and would love to go back again! Ria was a fantastic host! She made us feel very welcome and also gave us great tips regarding local tavernas and beaches to visit!

Wonderful villa, location and service

This is a beautiful and thoughtfully designed villa - a real sense of home away from home. The external areas are generous and impeccably maintained - with a gorgeous pool, seating areas, barbecue and grassed garden. The upstairs bedroom has a lovely terrace/balcony where you can watch the waves or the sunset and the mountains. The villa has everything you could possibly need and Ria - as everyone notes - is charming and kind - welcoming us and saying goodbye with gifts and great warmth. There are perfect touches such as the bath robes and the Oliva products and "starter groceries" for that urgent cup of coffee when you arrive! The location is ideal - 2 mins frm the beach with the warmest waters anywhere - like a bath on some mornings. The initial stony area is quickly rplaced by acres of shallow sand and swimming in the Bay under the mountains - amazing! Great tavernas right on the beach - a brilliant bakery (who also appear in a delivery van each day) a mile away and several local towns for greater variety. A really special and relaxing place! Thanks Ria - we loved it!

Beautiful villa lovely owners

We had a lovely relaxing holiday Ria when out of her way to help us nothing was too much trouble. The villa has everything you need for a lovely holiday. We would recommend it to anybody everything was so clean and perfect. Ria and her husband were the perfect hosts. A lovely bowl of fruit and flowers were there when we arrived. Superb villa, fantastic location

Villa was superb, we could not have wished for anything more. Extremely clean and everything you could want. Cleaning also done every few days which was great having clean beds and towels. Wonderful views and location, quiet with everything you need a couple of miles up the road. We paid the bread man in advance and woke up to a fresh loaf every morning , super... the bars two minute walk away were very good and excellent value for money, we rarely went anywhere else. The sunset the peace were heaven. Ria was the perfect host, so kind and accommodating baking us a gorgeous cake, supplying local honey and olive oil, thank you so much Ria. Lots to do Chania old town very nice, lots to see and do. We drove through the mountains which are gorgeous, and the local town of Kissamos provided everything we needed, Then people are just so helpful and friendly. Don't hesitate to book this villa you will not be disappointed 😃 Sue and Shane.

An amazing Easter holiday!

We had an amazing week in Nopigia - one week really wasn't enough! We were so well looked after in the vill,a and nothing seemed too much for Ria - we were almost embarrassed by her kindness! From the breakfast things provided for the first morning (we didn't arrive until after midnight, and even that wasn't a problem), through to the Easter treats for our small boys, and minding them whilst I had an unfortunate trip to the hospital in Chania - thank you! The villa was probably the nicest holiday house we have stayed in in Europe, and we are very well travelled. Everything was there, everything worked, everything was clean, everything was tasteful. We loved being so near the sea - hearing the waves when we first woke up, and the sunsets were stunning. It was quick to the main road for trips out, and we were bowled over by the beautiful spring flowers. On our way back to the airport, Knossos was CLOSED because it was Easter Saturday...so we obviously will have to go back soon for another visit, and another wonderful stay at Villa Posidonia!
