Annual Friends Get Away

Fantastic Family Home

This was our second annual three-generation gathering at this beautiful, modern home in the woods. The bedroom configurations are perfect for families and couples and the pool is a big hit with the kids. Eugene is super responsive, too.

Family Fun

Amazing!!!Our whole family stayed here to ring in the New Year together. What funnnn we had. The house is so spacious and layed out so beautifully,with so many windows making it feel so open.We had groups playing in the pool,some shooting pool, while others played video games.Upstairs groups were at the xtra large table playing games or in the sitting room watching movies.Mid house people were playing ping pong. Outside has a vollyball net which we only played the 1st day because after that we got rain. So we played volleyball in the pool . We did bring beach towels for the pool and were able to wash and dry them so everyone always had a towel when they got out of the pool.The pool room is always nice and warm, which we loved. The water is not hot tub water but a comfortable temperature. Which was perfect for all the playing we did. We also brought beach balls and floats.The pool does have a very deep end, perfect for jumping in. So we also had an adult in the room when anyone was swimming.However our adults love to swim like the kids so the pool was never still. There were so many pots,pans,dishes,glasses etc There was nothing they did not provide. We slept great when we slept. We were all up late into the night having fun. A perfect way to ring in the new year, the whole family enjoying each others company safely under one roof. In this busy world it is so nice to stop for a moment to spend fun times together. Family Reunion in the Poconos

We had a wonderful stay at this estate in the Poconos. Eugene the owner was very helpful with information and responsive to our requests. We had 23 people with 11 grandkids ranging from 1 to 17 years old, and 12 adults including our 5 kids and their spouses. We loved being able to gather for meals in the large dining room, and for family fun time in the fireplace living room. The pool was a big hit and we used the large volleyball area outside as well. Because it was very hot outside we did not use the firepit, but it looked like it would be fun in colder weather. We had a problem with the freezer not working when we arrived, and Eugene had it repaired by the second evening we were there. It would have helped to have an actual floor plan on the VRBO listing so that we could plan ahead for where each of our family members would stay. It is a little tricky with the locations of the bathrooms but we figured out a system. Things that would have helped would be more hand towels by the bathrooms and kitchens (with so many people, they get soiled and there was only one per bath/kitchen). While there is a very nice laundry, without a replacement there is nothing available when the hand towels are being washed. Also, there were ants by the kitchen sink counter and covering the outside back deck steps (biting which was challenging with our small grandchildren). More trash bags would also be helpful. Overall, a great stay and a very memorable time for our family.

Great Stay - Highly Recommend

Could not recommend this VRBO enough! Fantastic location, not surrounded by a lot of people. We were able to enjoy our time in the house, outside, and at the pool without having to worry about neighbors on top of you. Eugene was a great host. Very responsive and friendly! If you are planning to go to the Poconos with a large group, this is the spot!!

What a great space for a family event. The multiple open spaces, create lots of opportunities for interaction, group and private. The pool was wonderful and a great hit. Would do it again

Family Fun

We had a large group various ages of family and friends. The home was amazing the main level rooms were generously large with plenty of room and beautifully decorated. The pool was the biggest hit for children and adults with the games room and bar area. We were lucky enough to have snow and we all were outside building snowmen and fire pit roasting marshmallows and hot dogs. There was also enough room with hills for sleigh riding and hiking. We had a blast!
