A lovely quiet stay. The English owners live next door and are really friendly and helpful. The property had everything we needed. Just be aware that the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs.
Terry and Karen were perfect hosts, going beyond the call of duty. The gite was perfectly situated for exploring the Rose Granit Coast. It was cosy, especially with the log fire burning.
Thank you for a great 3 day break.
We were greeted by Karen and Terry who are such lovely hosts, nothing was too much for them to help us enjoy our stay. The property was ideal, great kitchen area very well equipped. Really comfy sofa for chilling after a long day out exploring. Huge bedroom with such a comfy queen sized bed, great shower. lovely outside patio area with table and chairs and great garden space to explore.
The area is perfect for exploring nearby beaches and beautiful villages, we took a day out to nearby ile de brehat, beautiful island. We also visited Château de la Roche-Jagu which was nearby with some great history, beautiful gardens and scenery.
What can we say Terry and Karen were the nicest people, so welcoming to their gite. Left us a lovely welcome gift as well, bread, cheese, milk and cider - so very kind. The two dogs Holly and Hamish were also very friendly and well behaved. Miss seeing them every morning.
The gite itself was spacious, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. Comfy sofa to relax on to watch tv of an evening if you wanted to. Nice table and chairs for outside dining. Everything you needed for a great stay.
The area is stunning and a great place to explore. We would definitely stay again and would certainly recommend.
Thank you for a lovely stay, we were sad to leave.
Cosy place decorated to a high standard and with friendly owners. Easy to get around to amazing coastal walks and pretty villages and a very good pizzeria in the local village just a few minutes drive away. We really enjoyed our stay
This is a very well presented Gite, lovely touches have been made to the property, attached to the owners property with a larger Gite attached the other side, Karen and Terry are helpful, welcoming and never intrusive, they have 2 dogs who got on well with our dog.
The location is rural but lovely villages with everything you need are close by, there are lovely walks from the doorstep and the surrounding area and owners garden is lovely!
We had great peaceful holiday. L’ Eurie Gite is the best location to explore the area.
The property was perfect, there we had everything we needed for our stay, fully equipped holiday home. Karen and Terry are very helpful and kind. They accompanied us and our dog to the local Vet (before returning to UK dog must visit a Vet ). Thank you so much for the great time we had!
In the heart of the Brittany countryside yet a short ride away from the numerous beautiful Brittany beaches. The perfect location for exploring the area.
The Gite lived up to our expectations. Fully equipped and very comfortable. On our arrival we found a gift waiting for us in the form of a very welcome variety of basic needs. Milk, cheese, biscuits etc so we could make ourselves a cup of coffee immediately on arrival from our long journey.
Our hosts, Kate and Terry, made us feel really welcome from the time we arrived to the time of our departure. We were offered several maps of the local area so we could find walks for us and our 2 dogs. Perfect place to take dogs with quiet country lanes surrounding the house but also a large garden for them to play in. Terry offered us several good suggestions as to places to visit and even accompanied us to his vets with us so our dogs could receive the necessary worming tablets before returning to England.
Kate and Terry are English so obviously no language problems.
We visited during the rugby World Cup which I could view on the TV as it had frees at channels. Perfect.
We couldn't have asked for more and would recommend to anyone heading to Brittany. We really hope we can visit again in the future
A big thank you from Dave and Mo.
We really enjoyed our stay in l'ecurie; from the first moment we were made to feel at home by Karen and Terry, not to mention their dogs, and it made an ideal base to live in while exploring the local area around Treguier and Paimpol and the nearby coast.

Just book it!
The gite is every bit as lovely as it looks, being beautifully fitted out, and just the right size for two people to enjoy. It is located close to a village (Pommerit-Jaudy), and not far from the gorgeous Treguier which is well worth a look, btw. The owners are very helpful and friendly without ever being obtrusive, as are their dogs!

Stunning gite set in quiet beautiful countryside
This lovely gite has everything you need. We loved the little querky features, the tree stump at the bottom of the stairs, the stained glass and the singer sink in the bathroom. The bedroom was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. Set in beautiful countryside all you can hear are the birds singing. The owners Karen & Terry made us feel very welcome and they were very helpful during our stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending this gite.

A lovely cottage in beautiful countryside
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in L'Ecurie. There is so much to see in the area. We had thought that we would use it a base to see all around Brittany, but in fact once we had got there we didn't want to venture any further than about 20 miles away from the cottage. The coastline is simply stunning and also so varied. There are lots of charming towns and villages close by. For us Treguier was the pick. Karen and Terry made us very welcome and had lots of advice about things to do, where to shop etc. We can thoroughly recommend the cottage and look forward to coming back again.

Wonderful holidays
We spent very relaxing and stimulating holidays in this beautiful traditional Bretagne cottage in a quiet, rural area, but not far away from the main tourist attractions. The cottage is very cosy and clean with all facilities as described and some very imaginative details that didn't stop fascinating us, such as the stained-glass windows or the tree-trunk which serves as a railing post. Our hosts, Karen and Terry, were very welcoming, helpful and generous with maps of the area, suggestions for trips and especially with their time - we enjoyed our interesting conversations about languages and the world at large. Thank you, Karen and Terry, for making our holidays so special!

Relaxed Stay in the lovely Cote D'armor
Lovely tranquil location and very well equipped Gite for 2
( L'Ecurie).
Welcoming hosts who were very helpful throughout and had lit the log burner for us on arrival - following a long drive from Paris. The Bedroom was spacious, well presented and very restful !
Definitely recommend the area, with the beautiful Pink Granite Coast line just 30 mins away and some lovely towns such as Pontrieux no more than 10 mins away.
We were so pleased we are looking to buy property in the areas around !

A great base to explore the Cote d’Armor
My wife and I spent a fortnight in June staying in this fantastic property. We had a wonderful time in this comfortable and easily maintained gite.
The property is situated in the heart of rural Brittany. The directions were very clear and we had the warmest of welcomes on our arrival. The property is accurately described and it met our needs perfectly. We really liked the imaginative use of stained glass, as well as the inventiveness of other clever features such as the sewing machine treadle to support the hand basin in the bathroom. The living room is very comfortably furnished, with a settee and a dining room table and chairs. The kitchen area provides every facility needed for a self-catering holiday, with full sized hob and oven, as well as a reasonably sized fridge which meant that we did not need to shop every day. There was plenty of crockery with enough pans for cooking. The bathroom was perfectly acceptable with a toilet, sink and shower cubicle. There was always ample hot water at a very reasonable pressure. The spacious bedroom had plenty of storage. We found the bed to be very comfortable which meant we sometimes got up rather late. The wi-fi worked well so we could keep up with family back in the UK. The benefit of having UK terrestrial channels on the TV meant that the debacle of England’s early exit from the World Cup could be suffered with an English commentary.
Our preferred holiday making involves plenty of sightseeing, walking and dining. There is so much to see in this part of Brittany – we especially enjoyed walking stretches of the GR34 at the coast. We also spent time in the evenings playing croquet and boules in the large garden next to the gite. The peace and tranquillity were much appreciated – it was a joy to sit outside hearing nothing but bird song.
I would like to thank the owners for helping to make our holiday such a memorable one. I always had prompt replies to my emails in the lead up to our holiday. Their kindness and friendliness will stay with us as one of the most pleasurable features of our stay. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to future holiday makers. You will be assured of a carefree holiday.

The property truly lived up to all expectations.
We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and this set the tone for our stay. The property was clean, fresh and warm and had every convenience we needed. The peace and quiet of the surroundings together with lots of space for our car and two bicycles ensured that we enjoyed every second of our stay. We explored the local villages by car when the sun didn't shine (not too often), otherwise we enjoyed the beautiful countryside on our bikes, stopping off for delicious lunches in delightful settings. It was such a comfort to return to our Gite each evening after our adventures, knowing that we were in such a haven of tranquility. Our hosts were warm, welcoming and yet very respectful of our space.
We look back on our two weeks in Kerhornec with fond memories. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and already plan a return visit as soon as is possible. We rested, walked, cycled, visited the local market in Guingamp, shopped, cooked delicious meals, enjoyed warm sunshine and all in the knowledge that we had our peaceful Gite to return to each evening. We consider ourselves very lucky to have chosen carefully and know that we will return. The level of service we received from Terry & Karen was commendable. We had a wonderful holiday which met all our needs and we have many delicious memories to savour over the coming months- until we return. Thank you!

Every comfort you could wish for and more
From the moment we arrived at this lovely cottage till the end of our stay, the warmth and caring of the owners was unlike any we've experienced on holidays. A delightful base from which to explore the surrounding historical coasts and towns. And close to shopping and restaurants. A super delicious home cooked meal was , carefully prepared by the owners - not to be missed for a stay-in occasion. This cottage is very highly recommended in all aspects.

Go on book it . You wont be disappointed !
An Excellent little gite ! It was very well presented with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The location is quiet but within easy driving distance of shops and beaches. We particularly enjoyed exploring the pink granite coastline and had some really nice walks. The owners Terry and Karen were very helpful and easy to get along with, making you feel very welcome. We found the wi-fi useful to keep in touch and also to find information about the places we wanted to visit whilst there, although saying that there is a lot of info in the gite supplied by the owners.
All in all we had a very relaxing/enjoyable week and hope to return again for more of the same.

Perfect!
This property was everything we hoped for, and more! We were greeted like old friends by Terry and Karen, two dogs, four chickens and a couple of ducks! The accommodation was charming and spotlessly clean. The fridge was stocked with milk and butter, and we were given freshly laid eggs for our breakfast. The bed gave us the best nights' sleep we had on our holiday.
The location is ideal. The village, with convenience store and a couple of restaurants, is nearby. Also close to good sightseeing spots and local markets.
We took advantage of our hosts' offer to prepare dinner for us. The price was unbelievably good for a three-course meal which was delicious and well presented.
Sadly, we only booked for three nights. If we had not been pressed for time, we would most certainly have extended our visit. I cannot recommend this property more highly!

Beautiful gite and a relaxing holiday
We were looking for a relaxing holiday in a pretty location, and found just that at Karen and Terry's gite in Pommerit-jaudy. The gite itself is a beautifully restored building, with lovely features including a wood burner and wood beams and stone wall. It also has all the mod cons, which made our stay extremely comfortable, including free wi-fi which was very handy for looking up local attractions and getting directions. Although Terry also provided a wealth of local maps, and recommendations for local places to visit. The weather during our stay was not great, however the cosy nature of the gite meant we didn't really mind that much staying in!
We discovered lots of lovely places to visit within a short driving distance, and very much enjoyed driving along the coast road and discovering the countryside. There is lots to see within an hours drive and even more if you wish to drive a bit further afield.
Karen and Terry were perfect hosts; giving us privacy and space to do our own thing and just chill, but at the same time being on hand to help out or just have a chat if we wanted. And even providing eggs one evening for our tea when we had run out of groceries and the shops were shut!
We very much hope to return again, and investigate even further the beautiful coast and surrounding area. We would recommend this holiday to anyone who wants a lovely place to stay with character and mod cons, and who has a car to enable them to investigate fully the surrounding towns and countryside.
