Lovely comfortable home

House was well furnished, comfortable beds, everything worked well and the pool was lovely. One bathroom was an issue with beans (en-suite) which meant it was not suitable for elderly members of the group. Excellent communication and support from the owner.

Great stay at Villa Orange

A group of 9 of us stayed at Villa Orange during September. We had a couple of evenings at Arena di Verona booked and wanted to combine the concerts with a relaxing holiday so we booked a week at the villa. It proved to be a good choice. The villa was very clean and well fitted out (although a kettle and basic toaster would be useful). It has cooker, microwave, coffee machine, fridge-freezer etc and all the utensils you need to prepare your own meals. It has a large screen TV in the lounge and TVs in the bedrooms. It also has free wi-fi - although that was a bit temperamental. The outside space is great with a pool, jacuzzi, bar-b-q and seating areas. We had fantastic weather so most of our time was spent outside. It's a little strange that the pool is at the front of the house but it is quite private and you soon forget the road, There are a couple of supermarkets within walking distance of the villa but as we arrived on Sat evening, we were advised by the villa owner that we would not be able to shop until Monday afternoon - however she offered to buy supplies for us to get us through til then which was much appreciated. There's not too much to do in the immediate vicinity of the villa - which is great for a relaxing holiday. You can walk down to the river (where's there's a nice restaurant) or there's a sports bar (where i think various pub games such as pool could be played). There's also a pizza place just down the road. However, Villa Orange is a short distance from both Verona and Lake Garda so, if you have a car, it provides an excellent base. If, you're without a car, there are buses into Verona but they're not particularly frequent while a taxi cost about 20 euro. Overall we enjoyed a fantastic stay. The owners were lovely and helped to make our stay a great experience. Verona and the Lakes are both beautiful areas and Villa Orange is sited in an ideal place to allow you to enjoy both (car recommended).

Our stay at Villa Orange- July 2011

We went as a group of 13 people (7 adults, 4 children and 2 babies). The house was set up perfectly for our needs by the owner and we found it very spacious and confortable. The pool and garden area are a real treat and are maintained beautifully. There is no gate around the pool which demands constant alertness when there are kids around but it was such fun for them when they did go in with adult supervision. There is also a Jaccuzi outside. We honestly enjoyed our stay and can recomend it to those interested! The location is also nice for those who don't want to stay in the big cities. We went from there to different places (verona, cities around lake garda and venice). A car is needed to get around. The owner who lives in the next door house was very helpful and friendly and made sure our stay was pleasent. The house is very well maintained and very clean which is of great importance to me and my family. Hope my review helped as I looked for reviews when we ordered and there were none. Super Ferienhaus

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr erholsam. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Es ist an alles gedacht. Die Hausbesitzerin ist super nett und war sehr zuvorkommend. Wir können das Ferienhaus wärmsten weiter empfehlen.

Schitterend vakantieverblijf

We genoten met het hele gezin van ons verblijf in villa orange. De woning is voorzien van alle comfort en alles is super netjes. De gastvrouw reageert zeer snel op vragen of opmerkingen en communiceert heel vlot. Het zwembad en de tuin worden om de twee dagen onderhouden zodat alles er steeds piekfijn uit ziet. Prima ligging, vlakbij winkels en goede uitvalsbasis voor een uitstap naar Verona of een stadje aan het Gardameer. Een aanrader!!

Villa Orange

Villa was centrally located in the Veneto region, which was ideal for visiting our relatives. The property manager was very responsive and friendly - even helped us set up a large catered family gathering on the premises. The only thing we didn't realize is that it is not a stand alone villa - the property manager and her family live on the premises. Although they were quiet and respectful, we could sometimes hear their daily activities.

Amazing Stay!!

Maria Pia was a great host!! She was quick to reach out to us before arrival and to answer questions we had during our stay. She welcomed us with breakfast goodies and some wine, which was unexpected and truly appreciated. The house was impeccable and pool absolutely amazing!! A/C was a big plus after long hot days. Everything that could be needed was available. Supermarket was very close by and a very good restaurant within walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying here to visit Lake Garda.

Rundum zufrieden

Wir waren 11 Tage in diesem wunderschönen Haus und waren sehr zufrieden. Wenn wir ein Anliegen hatten, wurde sofort von der Gastgeberin darauf reagiert. Es wirkten alle sehr freundlich und man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Highlight war der Pool der sogar gesäubert wurde. Jedes Schlafzimmer ist mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet, sowie der Wohn- und Essbereich. Rundum ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Das einzige war, dass die Schlösser der Türen manchmal geklemmt haben. Wir können das Haus für große Familien weiterempfehlen!

Hervorragendes Ferienhaus am Gardasee

Das Ferienhaus befindet sich in einer sehr ruhigen Lage, ca. 25 Minuten Fahrt von Bardolino/ Gardasee entfernt. Der eigene Pool und der eingezäunte Garten mit Sichtschutz bieten eine hervorragende Privatsphäre. Zudem ist der eingezäunte Garten optimal, wenn man Hunde mit in den Urlaub nehmen möchte. Die Gastfreundschaft der Besitzerin Maria ist auch hervorragend. Sie kümmerte sich um jede Angelegenheit und Frage. Wir waren nun bereits zum zweiten Mal in ihrem Ferienhaus und kommen gerne wieder! Die Unterkunft ist jedem sehr zu empfehlen!

Esemplare padrona di casa

Cordialità, cortesia, competenza e disponibilità, su qualsiasi nostra richiesta. Sorridente, disponibile e sopratutto attenta come una "vera padrona di casa " ma contemporaneamente, invisibile. L'accoglienza meravigliosa della sig. Maria Pia. Cordiale e competente il signore che curava giornalmente il giardino e passava ogni giorno a ritirare la spazzatura. Instancabile anche nel assorbire i compiti non assegnati, come pulire la piscina piccola delle nostre bambine. Lo consiglio sia per una famiglia numerosa che per chi desidera solo un angolo di paradiso nella tranquillità. Zona ben servita.

10 schöne Tage Nähe Verona

Vermieterin ist sehr nett und unkompliziert. Das Haus ist schön und sauber, nur schade, dass es direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße liegt. Privatsphäre war auch nicht immer gewährleistet. Es kam schon vor dass Familienmitglieder mit und ohne Begleitung auf dem vermieteten Stück waren. Ob wir am Pool waren oder beim Essen, das fanden wir etwas befremdlich
