The characteristic architecture enables guests to experience a specifically Tuscan atmosphere. Within the estate there is a nice garden with meadows, ancient trees, terraces and comfortable outdoor areas. The swimming-pool is in a sunny panoramic position. The farmer lives in an independent house with its own outdoor area. The skilful renovation of the premises has fully preserved the typical rustic Tuscan style, with terracotta floors and open-beamed ceilings. Great view of San Gimi

Property is a traditional styled large Tuscan house with 21st century kitchen appliances, media and air-con. Garden is well kept and there is plenty of outdoor seating, table football and table tennis, Weber barbq. All very clean and tidy. Alessandro the host is seen at the beginning and end but also available to answer any questions - perfect host. Each bedroom is en suite with bathroom. Swimming pool is a delight, infinity overlooking vineyards. Perfect for a family/group holiday in Tuscany .

Peaceful, stunning views, and super clean

This villa is spacious has all the facilities you need and plenty of different corners for you to spread out into to enjoy the sun, the views and the peace. The views from the property, the pool in particular, are stunning. Alessandro keeps this place spotless, including the pool. His attention to you as a guest is faultless, being on hand to answer any queries and meet reasonable needs. He shopped for a few essential items for us so they were there when we arrived late. He was flexible and understanding when our flight was delayed. It's a lovely, peaceful spot within easy reach of San Gimignano. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful property in a beautiful setting

We were a large family group and had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property. The facilities were excellent with plenty of room, and wonderful views of the Tuscan countryside from the swimming pool. Our host was very accommodating and helpful. An ideal location to explore the wonderful towns and cities of Tuscany. Highly recommended! We didn't want to leave!

Outstanding villa and view!

The villa was in an utterly Breathtaking position, with views across the vineyards all Around us as well as seeing the church towers of SAN Giminano. The owner Alessandro was most helpful on arrival , and the villa was spotless and huge! He is just next door but we were never disturbed. The pool is just down a few steps from the villa and is so serene and calming. The pool Was sparkling clean . We felt very chilled out by the pool and I loved the late afternoons there. There is a wine tasting experience just up the road which we really enjoyed and we ordered some wine to be sent to the U.K. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed with some welcome wine and coffee too! We had the most amazing week Thankyou and would definitely return again.

Awesome family holiday

Villa and pool were great. Lots of outdoor space. We were 3 family generations on holiday and it suited us very well. Kitchen very well stocked with cooking utensils and equipment as well as BBQ. We had a flat battery in our hire car on the last day and Alessandro was very helpful getting a battery charger for us and getting us on our way.

Large rustic farmhouse with superb views and pool

We spent a week at Podere Lazzarona with eight adults, two children and a 9 month old baby. Access from the road was easy with plenty of level parking for our four cars. The house accommodated all of us in spacious bedrooms each of which had an ensuite, which meant no queuing for bathrooms. The kitchen was reasonably well-equipped with limited but adequate worktop space when preparing meals for ten. (The Coop supermarket in San Gimignano is only ten minutes drive away with free parking for one hour). The swimming pool was very private and super clean with magnificent views over the vineyards and towards San Gimignano. The boys enjoyed games of table football and table tennis, though the space was restrictive for serious tennis players. WiFi throughout the house was very good and air conditioning/ heating was available in every room Alessandro was extremely pleasant and helpful and he provided a very clean cot, high chair, baby bath and toys for our granddaughter. We accepted the chance to have a 4-course meal cooked for us one evening by Alessandro's aunt and were absolutely delighted with the superb banquet that she produced for a very reasonable price in just one hour! We found good walks in the immediate vicinity of the house. (In late May the wild flowers are superb). All the major sites of southern Tuscany are within easy driving distance, and we can confirm that excellent ice cream can be found in all of them!

fantastic stay, the owner Alessandro could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

As a 3 generation family ranging from 6-70 years of age staying for 3 weeks July/August 2018 we could not have picked a better location. The 5 course Tuscan meal cooked and served by a local cook was exceptional and enjoyed by all. The main attraction was the magnificent swimming pool which was in use everyday. Alessandro was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble for him. The amount of areas for eating or just relaxing were more than enough for our large party. The location of the property makes for easy sightseeing for Florence, Pisa and Sienna. The close proximity to San Gimignano was a bonus as the family visited most days to fully explore the ancient town. We also had some extremely good wine tasting at the highly recommended Arrigoni family owned winery. All in all a brilliant holiday for us all. Highly recommended. Beautiful Tuscan villa in superb countryside setting!

A family of 8 adults spent an amazing week in the 100 year old traditional Tuscan villa Podere Lazzarona. The villa was very clean throughout and the kitchen well equipped for preparing meals when dining in. The infinity pool was lovely and offered stunning views across the rolling Tuscan hills, vineyards and on to the towers of San Gimignano. Allesandro, who lived in the adjacent property, was always on hand to assist promptly and courteously with any questions, but always respected our privacy. Allesandro arranged a cook for us one evening, where we enjoyed a feast of local Tuscan cuisine that certainly matched or likely exceeded anything we experienced in the local restaurants. The charming town of San Gimignano is only 10 mins drive away with its many cafes, restaurants and historic buildings. Podere Lazzarona is thoroughly recommended for a family break in the peaceful and beautiful Tuscan countryside!!

Heaven on Earth

If we could keep this to ourselves ...we would! Podere Lazzarona will give you everything you could wish for, spacious, well equipped, clean, with views to die for. From the moment you arrive, Alessandro provides you with all the information you need during a fast, friendly and informative "check in". The well equipped kitchen and utility room is at the hub of the house and enables you to have mealtimes without a logistics fuss either in the triple aspect dining room or on the covered terrace where the barbeque awaits the man of the house to perform his magic for alfresco dining! All bedrooms are en-suite, very comfortable, tastefully finished in true Tuscan style with great views from all (fixed window nets allow airy insect free warm nights). Terraces to front and rear allow you sun or shade when you like, then the few steps down to the pool area provide easy access to another covered dining area, table, loungers and seating around a fantastic infinity pool with truly spectacular panoramic views. The short journey into San Gimignano gives you all the amenities you need and great shopping in the bustling centre. Restaurants are plentiful and some of the best Gelato in Italy is served in the main square. Podere Lazzarona comes highly recommended and the Martini family will ensure your stay is something you'll always remember.

Breathtaking Property

Located in one of the prettiest areas of Tuscany, this is a beautiful property. Our host and owner Alessandro was a true pleasure to deal with. Like dealing with a family member, he was attentive, kind, informative, helpful, and truly interested in making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Alessandro was kind enough to set up our dinners with local cooks - who were two beautiful ladies that cooked with joy and passion, and really cared about their food - local favourites. If anything our only complaint was we ate too much! We had a fairly large group and my wife and I were also looking after our 2 year old grandson for the week while his parents honeymooned. Despite the mix, we each had our own bedrooms and own bathrooms, so the house was perfect for this large ecliptic family. The house is perfectly laid out inside, and outside there are plenty of spaces to walk, reflect, play (very nice pool), or just relax and mingle. Overall, we can't say enough about our experience and we're very grateful to Alessandro for his hospitality and for providing such a beautiful place for our family. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Tuscany!

La Dolce Vita

This was our second villa rental in the San Gimignano area, our first at Alessandro's villa and it was amazing! Alessandro was very responsive and helpful from the moment we booked the year prior, until the day we checked out. We were a group of 6 adults and had plenty of room. The villa has every amenity you might need during your stay. At check in Alessandro provided us with helpful information about the surrounding area. The villa is in a beautiful setting surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, the outdoor space is very nice and the location of the pool on the property has the most spectacular view of the Tuscan countryside. The pool and air-conditioning was a must for us as it was very hot during our end of August stay. We also enjoyed two delicious meals prepared by his chefs which we highly recommend. Even better than the photos!

The photos don’t even do this place justice, it is so stunning and much more spacious than it seems in the photos. I went with my family of five people and it was a great amount of space. The pool views are particularly beautiful. It is in a great spot if you have a car to go visit the nearby towns. San Gimignano is insanely charming. Alessandro was a great host and had excellent recommendations for us during the stay. The internet was a bit spotty so keep that in mind if you need it to work. Overall I would highly recommend this property.

Incredible stay in Tuscan paradise

From the moment of booking Alessandro helped make our Tuscan stay absolutely magical. He was probably the most responsive host we’ve ever had.
