A beautiful property in a wonderful location with superb views.

A large and well presented property with plenty of space even when fully occupied. Within easy reach of Ballycastle, Carrick-a-Rede, the Giant’s Causeway, Fair Head and other gems of the. Causeway Coast. Highly recommended.

Magnificent house with plenty of room for us all.

The house was in a very quiet neighbourhood about 8 minutes walk down to the sea front at Ballycastle. It was a good base to explore the surrounding area- we visited all the local points of interest except the rope bridge, which didn't seem worth the £8 per head for 8 of us a 2 minute experience. In contrast, my visit to Rathlin Island for £12 return on the ferry was a fabulous day out walking amongst some beautiful scenery, though make sure you book both outward and return journeys in advance as the afternoon returns soon fill to capacity. The Giants Causwaywas stunning, but very popular on the day we attended. Some of the path was blocked off which was a little disappointing, but never the less, a great visit. Tried walking out to Fair Head from Ballycastle along the shore road and path. Sadly, the path petered out before it got below Fair Head. I had to fight my way on a very overgrown path. Visited Fair Head one evening by road. Parked in the farm car park and paid £3 into the honestybox there. A walk of about 1.5km to the cliff across some white, recently lime covered fields where there were some fantastic views. - Returned to the car with white covered trainers. The farmers wife gave us some helpful information on where to go to get the best views. Not interested in the Game of Thrones, but Ballintoy was very charming with a lovely walk around to Whitesands bay at low tide. A wonderful week.

Spacious and very family friendly in beautiful condition.

We had a fantastic time and would really recommend this property to anyone looking for a good size house in a lovely location. We used a local taxi company who were absolutely amazing and looked after us throughout our stay. The only thing that would have been handy is some egg cups. Overall a lovely location and a beautiful house Thank you

We stayed here for one week as a family of 6 adults and 3 young children and there was more than enough space. The property is well located, fairly new and vary spacious. The owner was very helpful with queries in advance. The local area is beautiful and we had a lovely time. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful family in Ballycastle

We stayed in this lovely property for a week at the end of May We were a large family group with age range from 75 yrs to 2 yrs and we all loved staying here .The house is extremely spacious well maintained and spotlessly clean. It also has lots of garden space where the younger folk enjoyed running around Everything you could possibly require for an enjoyable stay is provided. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to any queries.A pleasant 15 minute stroll will take you into Ballycastle where the family enjoyed shopping Maud's ice cream and taking the Ferry to Rathlin Island for a wonderful day trip . This house is ideally situated to explore the many tourist attractions in this beautiful area This is our 3 rd year to spend our family week in this property and we all look forward to our next visit and we would highly recommend this house to other families.

Great property in a lovely location

Clean, spacious well maintained property. The family (three generations) found it easy to spread out in and settle into. Though little time was spent in the house the large kitchen and utility were well used and much appreciated. The 'boost' facility on the central heating/hot water was welcome. It's a five minute walk from the beach and the immediate access to the forest was enjoyed by the grandchildren. Ballycastle, the harbour and beach were great entertainment (good ice cream) and the fresh sea air should be put on prescription! No problems recommending it and certainly no problems returning.

A fantastic holiday home in beautiful Ballycastle

A really comfortable and well equipped house a short walk from Ballycastle. We were a large group of extended family and there was plenty of space for everyone. We had a wonderful week and I would definitely recommend this house. Ballycastle is a great place to base yourself to explore the north coast. It is a lovely unspoilt town with a real sense of character great shops, bars and restaurants.

Beautiful house. Ideal for family holiday

Loved the area, loved the house which was very well-equipped, clean, airy and very spacious - provided an excellent base from which to explore Ballycastle and surrounding area. Family of three generations, and everyone very happy there. Will be back!

Thoroughly satisfied and will return asap

It has hard to find a vacation rental that checks all the boxes - location, price, quality, size; etc, but this place did it for us, and then some. It sits up high enough to really get a good view of farmland, cliffs and, most days, Rathlin Island. 10 minute walk downhill takes you to the town, restaurants, bars, shops, the harbor, beach, children's playground, buses; etc. The walk back uphill can be a little bit harder some days, especially if you have already been hiking or walking all day. However, great exercise in fresh air meant we all lost a few pounds whilst we enjoyed the scenery on the way back. I'm from Northern Ireland (now living and working in Atlanta), and grew up along the North Antrim coast, so I wanted to show my wife and 7 year old daughter the sights and beauty of this area. They fell in love with Ballycastle and really felt totally relaxed staying at the property. We had family staying with us the first week and some friends during the second week, but it never felt cramped because there are 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus a sun room, living and dining room, big garden for the kids to run around in. The house felt spacious, airy and was always really sunny and bright. The kitchen featured a gas stovetop, big "American" fridge and came with all the coffee machines, toasters, silverware, cups, bowls; etc you'd ever need. Neighbors were quiet and friendly - my daughter made friends the first day she arrived and played every day with them for the next 2 weeks, so she was really happy. We took a couple of ferry day trips to Rathlin Island which I highly recommend. Very unique place - book tickets 24 hours in advance though. We also travelled a fair bit along the coast to the Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge; etc and really appreciated how easy the drive was to get to those areas. Very short journeys along quiet country roads with spectacular scenery. Great base for anyone coming over on a "Game of Thrones" sightseeing tour as you could easily check out 7 or 8 within 30 miles of this house. Overall, we loved every second of staying here and can't wait to come back. The owner, Ronan, was very responsive and friendly. 100% trustworthy, which is important to me when making transactions with someone new. Ronan was always available by cell call or a quick text and he really made us feel at home and relaxed. Very happy memories of this house and Ballycastle that will tide us over until we return - hopefully next year.

"Stunning new home in exquisite location"

Stayed for a five day break in June 2011when attending a wedding. The property lives up to its description - "Stunning new home in exquisite location" - although we didn't try to land a helicopter, and is in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK. Highly recommended. Gilbert and family and friends

Niece's Wedding

I traveled with my wife and 4 adult children with spouses/significant others for my niece's wedding in Ballycastle/Portrush. This house was perfect for our stay. With 5 BR and three showers there was plenty of space and ease with a large group getting ready for the wedding. This is a beautiful and spacious home. The property was convenient (walkable) to the center of town (Ballycastle) for shopping, dining, walks to the beach, etc. I would highly recommend this home for large groups visiting Ballycastle.

Great location to explore Northern Ireland

This house had plenty of room for the 6 travelers and was very well equipped. It has a nice kitchen, 3 bathrooms and the 4 bedroom setup worked perfectly for 2 couples and 2 others traveling single. There's a washer available but no dryer, washer takes a while too so don't plan on a quick load. The town is great, the food recommendations in the literature at the house were spot on. The area has a lot to see and do. We'd definitely stay there again, highly recommended location. About the only item that's a bit inconvenient is having to supply bath towels yourself, but that was well communicated up front. Other things that could be improved would be to get rid of the baby gate at the top of the stairs for most guests and to have some non-slip mats in the bathrooms. An elderly person in our party slipped getting out of the shower and broke 2 bones, but the setup was fine for the rest of us. The floors are tile so can be slick when wet. The front door usage probably needs some further explanation for us foreigners, never seen a door lock by pulling up on the handle, but just something to tell folks vs them figuring it out eventually.

Beautiful home!

This was a perfect house for our group of 8 adults. The living room and dining table were large enough for all of us to relax and to eat together. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The house is in a quiet neighborhood on a hill with a lovely view. We had an exceptional dinner in Ballycastle at the Cellar Restaurant. We spent the next day sightseeing at the Giant's Causeway, the Bushmills Distillery (check tour times before you go), the Dunluce Castle, and the Mussenden Temple (and other sites on that property). It was a perfect day! **The only improvement I would make to this rental would be to provide towels for everyone.

Beautiful home, comfortably appointed!

This was our first trip to Northern Ireland. The location of this home gives you beautiful views of the hills and the Atlantic. It was a wee bit farther from the best part of the town of Ballycastle, but this is minor and would not prevent us from staying there, again! Loved exploring the area, a close drive to the Giant’s Causeway & Fair Head. Both are a pretty good walk, so be prepared! We loved O’Connor’s pub, the food was good and the wait staff friendly. The same can be said for the Diamond Bar Restaurant. Don’t miss visiting Glenariff Forest Park and the beautiful Glens with their waterfalls! It is a beautiful area and the house was perfect & easily accommodated our party of 6 adults & 2 children. We would love to be able to return!

A wonderful vacation property!

Ronan, Thank you so much for the rental of your lovely home. The house is stunning, on a wonderful, quiet street. It was big enough for 6 adults to spread out and relax. The views are breathtaking and we spent more than one late afternoon basking in the sunroom with a glass of wine, enjoying the view of the rolling hills and listening to the baa’s of the lambs! Having to bring along on an international trip, or buy bath towels there, isn’t super convenient- but we left ours behind, so hopefully it helps stock the linen cupboard! Otherwise the home is well prepped in every way. We had a great visit to the always lovely Ballycastle area and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.
