The apartment has air conditioning and heating throughout along with an open plan living area, television with Sky, DVD and surround sound Hi-Fi system. fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. There are 4 large interconnecting pools, including one for children and babies. 2 on-site restaurants, an indoor health club, 24 hour security and reception. Private parking. Excellent shops and restaurants very close by, tennis club next door and more than 20 world renowned golf courses in the vicinity.

We have just installed a super duper 40 Meg high speed internet connection to the apartment, which so fast that all the TV is now run through it... Say goodbye to the typical dreadful internet connection in Spain which started to become almost unusable, particularly if you wanted to do some work while on holiday. Tranquil complex

Very relaxing stay, lovely view over the gardens, great bistro on site. Walk to everywhere, near to supermarkets, restaurants and the beach, would definitely stay again.

Perfect

The title says it all. The property is absolutely beautiful in every way. The decor is superb and the outdoor seating area is like a tropical wonderland. The grounds and salt water pool are stunning , couple that with the excellent on site restaurant and friendly staff, this property has it all. Communication with the owner, Suze, was brilliant, who put us in contact with Walter, for transport from/to the airport. Walter being very reliable and such a nice person. Perfect location close to all amenities. We will definitely be going back to this property again. I can’t rate it highly enough.

Perfect location and lovely apartment

We had fantastic stay in a very interesting and homely apartment. The apartment is close to the beach, restaurants and shops. There is a lovely pool in the resort, with friendly staff to assist at all times. Highly recommended.

Spacious, balcony, beach, restaurants and shops

Treetops is all that you see from the photos. A very spacious apartment with everything that you need. Not overlooked and tucked away in the corner. Huge balcony area for eating and sunbathing right outside your bedroom if your prefer! King size bed (with some interesting elephant wall art that my daughter asked about!!) and two twins There is a tv but who needs one on holiday! Air Con. Fully equipped kitchen including a Krups coffee machine which was great for making cold coffees after a hot day! We used the beach every day. 5 min walk. Bought 2 beach chairs and an umbrella as sun beds a bit pricy. Waves were great fun. We didn’t use the apartment pool. Be warned people must be up early reserving their beds with towels sadly. Beautiful mature gardens. 10 min walk to El Corte Ingles which is an amazing store and it also has a supermarket. 10 min walk to all restaurants and shops. You certainly don’t need a car. Taxis are also cheap. We used Suzes recommendation for the airport. She was also helpful with our questions for our stay and sorted out anything for us via email quickly. The apartment is rustic and plenty to look at. Beach towels also provided. Definitely make sure you don’t leave any food out as the ants magically find their way to the top floor in minutes!! (We we’re warned by Suze!!) Definitely recommend the apartment. Last year we stayed ultra modern and this year rustic with charm. Both as good as each other. Thank you for our stay Suze.

Great Location

Excellent resort for adults and kids and within 10 mins walking distance to port and beach . Pool area great , with a fantastic restaraunt and clean safe pool area. Accommodation was spacious and had ample storage with a nice outdoor area for alfresco dining. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need. The property itself is Rustic and whilst adequately furnished , maybe needs updating a little , for example the TV is 32 inch which is too small for such a large living space. Internet is excellent and has been upgraded . Our hot water stopped working but after a call to Suzi it was resolved very quickly. My honest opinion was the property was good value for money but just needs upgraded slightly. Great Host and I would 100% come back to Alcazabra.

A beautiful apartment in an ideal location

This is a spacious, comfortable apartment with everything you could need, set within a beautifully maintained and managed complex. An excellent location for a family of five with three teenagers and it felt very safe and secure. The beach is a two minute walk, a very large supermarket a five minute walk and the harbour also a five minute walk. It was quiet at night within the complex for a great nights sleep. The apartment has excellent air conditioning and a kitchen with every appliance you could need. There is a lovely poolside restaurant with reasonable prices and delicious food. The pool staff were very kind and attentive. I would highly recommend this amazing apartment and dealings with the owners Rod and Suze were at all times professional and courteous. Thank you both for renting your property to us and we would love to return.

An Excellent apartment

This is a super apartment from which you can enjoy everything the Costa del Sol has to offer. The apartment itself is very well stocked with all you need for a good vacation. It is superbly located within walking distance of excellent shopping facilities as well as good restaurants in Puerto Banus. The walk along the path by the sea {just threee minutes from the apartment} to the centre of Marbella is something to enjoy, on a daily basis, if you like. We would walk there, about 6 km, have lunch, and walk back by which time you can have a cocktail on the beach in Puert Banus. This was our second time in this apartment, 4 weeks in 2016 and 6 weeks in 2017, We are going back again in 2019, maybe for 8 weeks !

Lovely apartment in excellent location

We have stayed in this apartment regularly over the past few years. Our stay this time was for 3 weeks and everything was as special as usual - a real home from home.The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Clean and well maintained. It is set within amazing gardens and pool area (recently refurbished).The owners respond very quickly to any queries you may have and the reception staff are extremely helpful and efficient. Beaches and other amenities are a short easy stroll away. During our visits friends and family who have joined us always comment how lovely, relaxing and cosy Treetops is and can't wait to visit again. We are so impressed we cannot seem to stay away!

Stunning property in a great location

This was our third stay at the property. It’s in a great location, very spacious, clean and looks stunning. The owners obviously take great pride and care. Never had a problem, but with the correspondence I’ve had with the owners, I’m sure if anything was to arise it would be dealt with very swiftly. It’s very quiet and being on the top floor has wonderful views across the gardens. The balcony is perfect in that you get the sun in the morning, are protected from the sun at the hottest part of the day and then it comes back late afternoon into the evening. Great for a refreshing pre-dinner drink......or drinks! The pool and the poolside cafe are also great. The beach is only a couple of minutes walk away and the many bars, restaurants and shops of Puerto Banus are also very walkable. We always use the rear entrance and walk along the seafront as we find it a nicer walk. Can’t recommend this property enough. Just wish it was mine!!

Beautifully presented property in a great location

We have just returned from a lovely week in the sun at this fantastically presented and comfortable apartment which is right in the heart of things. The accommodation is beautiful and spacious with a great terrace which gets a lovely through breeze which is much appreciated! The apartment is all set up with great technology - we didn't use the TV at all during the week (we don't tend to when on holiday) but the wifi is very good and received much use particularly from the younger folk we had with us. Beach is within easy walk and lots of space to choose from. We used the pool a fair bit too which is clean and well maintained. Slight frustration that we needed to pay for beds as an extra but it didn't overall put us off going to the pool and the lifeguard was flexible and didn't charge us on our last day as we were only there until just after lunch. Overall we had a great time helped by the beauty of the apartment and its setting and also the owner's helpful advice in the documentation provided and in response to our queries ahead of our trip.

A beautifully appointed and exceptionally well provisioned apartment

The owner Suze was very helpful in accommodating our travel plans and accommodation queries which is always a hurdle, particularly when travel includes three children/young adults and their diverse requirements. The apartment is in a beautiful location, conviently located to Puerto Banus. The central reception staff for the small complex were exceptionally helpful during our stay. For the children/young adults, everything was tick boxed immediately on arrival. WiFi worked, the TV had all the channels, the pool remained open (despite being November) and the staff and other residents liked small people! For Angie and I, the apartment was very well laid out, beautifully clean and furnished and had everything we needed to ease straight into a long overdue break. The guide that Suze had left for us on line was very useful and we took advantage of many of the suggestions offered. The apartment complex was safe, quiet and by no means a taxing distance from the beach or town. We would have no hesitation in rebooking with Suze again and we would highly recommend the apartment to other travellers. A wonderful place and a fantastic holiday.

Perfect Holiday

Excellent, home from home.

Having arrived on a light flight we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious and welcoming the apartment was, the gentlemen on reception was cheerful and very helpful. After settling in after 1 night the boys were very relaxed in their surroundings and proceeded to have a wonderful week. Suze and Rob were very helpful and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok, all the information provided was exceptional and made it very easy to relax into our holiday. The facilities restaurant and Aurora and family were very warm and welcoming and made our boys feel very happy and at ease with the surroundings. This is a stunning location that families and couples could equally enjoy with ease.

Great place in Puerto Banus

We spent 10 days in La Alcazaba and can only highly recommend it. The apartment was very clean and very well maintained. Restaurants are plenty and good in the area, but cooking at home was also a breeze with a well equipped kitchen and a fantastic supermarket within walking distance. Nice pool area, a friendly tennis club across the street, so also lots to do for kids. Service from the owners were top notch. Very clear information about how everything worked, deposit paid back immediately upon return - no complaints.

Beautifully decorated apartment, great location!

We had absolutely fantastic christmasholiday in this beautifully decorated and spacious apartment. The garden in Alcazaba was gorgeous and very well- maintained as well as the apartment. We especially enjoyed the kitchen, there was everything you could wish for, great De Longhi coffee machine and even juicer! The area and apartment felt very secure. Everything is near, great beaches, cafes, restaurants (even in winter) and what a wonderfull way to start a day jogging along the beautiful Golden Mile beach walk. Marbella Apartment

The apartment was centrally located to Puerto Banus, beaches, restaurants and shopping. The complex was quiet and the pool and grounds were beautiful. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed and easy to use. Lots of books and DVDs! We would definitely recommend!

Simply the Best

As others have said, this is a beautiful and spacious apartment with all you need in a great location with reliable, helpful owners. Notice the thoughtful touches such as the water filter. What a relief not to lug all those plastic bottles of drinking water from the grocery store then face the challenge of recycling them! The kitchen is well designed. There are power strips and converters so that you can easily charge your electronics. There is always plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The clothes dryer may not be important during a week in mid summer, but it was a blessing in winter when clothes hung outside took over a day to dry. The queen bed has a nice firm mattress. (Many Spanish rentals have narrower double beds or two twins pushed together rather than king or queen mattresses.) The second bedroom has its own small television and is just far enough away for everyone to have a little privacy, but not so far that younger children would be uncomfortable. And if the listing says “not suitable for the elderly” imagine yourself, however young and fit, with luggage, bags of groceries, and/or a toddler in arms heading up hills and stairs. Elevators have their uses. Best of all, this apartment is decorated with creativity, warmth, and humor. The terrace is beautiful, even in the middle of winter, and is the focal point of the large living room/lounge. The walls are hung with real art. It’s just fun to be in the midst of it, like a favorite bed and breakfast instead of a Holiday Inn. For my husband and I this was a big factor in how much we loved and were refreshed by our winter in Spain. The nearby beach is one of the most beautiful on the Costa del Sol. It is on the other side of town/harbor from the narrow strip of beach that hosts the bikini-bars-for-the-rich-and famous for which Puerto Banus is known. Costa del Sol rentals can be in complexes so large and beehive like that you have no idea what country you are in. In winter such places can seem like ghost villages so empty that you worry for your safety. Alcazaba has the advantages of security, a reception office, private pool with garden, and safe, off-street parking, but the scale is human. It’s a nice mix of visitors and long-term residents. The location directly adjacent to an actual town is much nicer than one of the communities created within the last few decades solely to house tourists and retirees.

Holiday in Puerto Banus in winter

My wife and me decided to spend this year a big part of the winter in Spain. Two weeks of it we were in this beautiful apartment in Puerto Banus. We found the location perfect situated, because all important shops, the harbour and the beach are only a few walking minutes away. So we did not need the car. The apartment itself is absolutely top equipped. We really missed nothing. This apartment we can also recommend during the winter time, because it is really confortable and quickly warm with the heating system. Truly Amazing !!!

My first impression of this property when we first arrived was "wow".........what a nice greeting after all our travelling to get there. We arrived late at night so we had no time to buy in food etc. but we had a nice bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge and we just sat down outside in the beautiful balcony and and had a relaxing drink. This apartment has all the requirements for a very enjoyable stay. It is ideally situated, a stone's throw from the port and all the fashionable shops. The apartment is so comfortable that you would just love to sit there all day and relax in the beautiful furnishings that surround you. The apartment is equipped with Sky t.v. so you won't miss your favourite t.v. programmes or if you would prefer to watch a DVD there is a great selection. There are CD for everyone's choice and lots of books to read. The kitchen is really well equipped and the crockery is so nice to use, like it has been personally chosen by you. Not just a holiday rental, but a little piece of Heaven. We will definitely be back. Goretti Darley

We can recommend this apartment for your holiday!

The apartment has a very central location, it takes 5 min and you are in the center of Puerto Banus. The surrounding is quiet with a FANTASTIC garden! It is like a botanical garden with lovely flowers, trees, fountains and the best of all, in the evenings you can hear the sounds of birds and frogs fom the terrace! The terrace is very well maintained with nice flowers. There are also a great pool in the garden area.The apartment was the very best for us. We always rent an apartment because we have a foodallergic son. The kitchen is very fresh with all important equipment included an induction stove,dishwasher and washingmachine. The furnishing in Indian style is lovely! Both bathrooms are very clean and the towels are in the very best quality. In our sleeping room we had a fan that we used some times because the location in the building made it not so warm that we needed the air condition ( but every room had air con if you wanted it). When you went shopping you had a wagon in the wardrobe to bring home the groceries in! So we can really recommend this place for your holiday! We come from Sweden and we will absolutely return!
