A wonderful stay

Sea for Miles was wonderful, and ideal for a stay with adults and children. The views from the windows are spectacular - sea and mountains. This was probably the best equipped rental house we have stayed in. Lovely big kitchen, open fire, big beds. Our host, Debbie, could not have been more responsive or attentive, and very kind. We were made to feel extremely welcome, and hope to return some time.

Good for the soul

There are not enough words to describe Debbie's home, it's truly magical. Surrounded by beauty and nature, we really didn't want to leave. The view is to die for and watching the animals in that wee pocket was just lovely (rams, donkeys, birds and Ziggy the dog and Lily the cat having their daily fight ) The house itself was wonderful, big comfy beds and the views from the front windows werte to die for. The owner Debbie was just lovely, kind, friendly and helpful with any queries or local info we had. Definitely think I have left my heart in this wonderful place. A visit to all the local beaches is a must as is Kylemore Abbey, in its magnificant splendour (apple pie and custard) is a must in the restaurant. Connemara has a beauty that is in my opinion like no other.

Stunning location, beautiful home

We had a fantastic family holiday in this beautiful part of Galway. Debbie's home was exceptional, providing everything we needed to make our holiday comfortable , relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. We cycled around Inisbofin, swam at Renvyle and Glassilaun beaches, experienced Kylemore Abbey and climbed Diamond Hill, we had a truly fun filled week in Connemara. Highly, highly recommend Debbie's home.

Beautiful Views and a Wonderful Home

You have to start with the owner Debbie, when describing the property. So friendly and yet a professional in providing us with every need. The home is very well outfitted, and we could not think of anything we missed from being in our every day home. We needed stable reliable internet, and it was and actually there is a back-up in case one goes down. We found the large windows over looking the ocean to be great, and of course since it was cold took advantage of the fireplace. The other benefit Debbie provided is she knows everyone and they know her, so when we needed a driver, a recommendation, etc. she had it all. A + on the in-home guide for the house and area. And yes, Debbie a golfer herself, can provide local and area courses to play. Thank you Debbie for a wonderful stay, for myself my wife and daughter.

Would be difficult to find a better coastal property than this belter!

A week in Connemara in October was always going to be chancy, who knew what the weather would do! As it turned out we had a few days of reasonable sunshine and a few days of heavy rain and strong winds. On the good days we were out doing stuff, messing about in boats, taking in the beauty of Kylemore Abbey and walking on white sand beaches. With the thought that returning to our fantastic haven on the Atlantic coast was going to enhance the beautiful days we had enjoyed. On the bad weather days we tended not to venture far from home. Maybe nip into the village to top up with the "essentials" (wine, beer, cakes and newspapers!). Then we decided which of Debbie's varied selection of DVDs we would watch, interspersed with which of our selection of Irish traditional music CD's we would listen to! I could think of no better way of passing a wet and windy day than sitting in the lounge of Sea For Miles, with a glass of really nice beer (on this occasion I discovered McGargles many fine IPAs) whilst listening to a very good Altan CD and watching the Atlantic Ocean dance "before my very eyes"!! This is a fantastic holiday home, in a fantastic place. If you're going to Connemara, stay here - you'll love it!!!

A beautiful home

We stayed at Debbie's home only 5 days but certainly would have liked to stay more. The location is amazing and the name is really apt as you can really see a lot of sea from the windows. The place is beautiful when the sky is blue but even if it is windy or raining it is nice to watch the wild sea from the living room window. The house is equipped with everything one needs and Debbie is a lovely owner. There are lots of walking places close by and at night a lot of stars can be seen because there is very little light pollution.

Lovely property with fantastic views of the islands off the Connemara loop road. Lots of space and everything you could want is provided. Very comfortable with tasteful decor and furnishings. The welcome we received from Debbie was warm and very friendly and when we left she embraced us all and wished us a safe journey home. Wouldn't hesitate to go back to this property. Simply the best

Sea for Miles is simply the best property we have ever rented, we could happily live there! There are several things that make it stand out from the rest : Debbie is such a friendly and informative host, we loved spending time with her, she lives next door but is very respectful of your privacy. Then the house itself is beautiful, 3 spacious double bedrooms with luxury linen, 2 bathrooms with fluffy towels; huge, fully equipped kitchen and cosy living room with such comfortable seating where you can forget all your worries and look at the ever changing sea view. We were lucky enough to spot dolphins and had great weather so were able to enjoy the barbecue and outside space. Everywhere was spotless, there really is nothing we can fault. The area is stunning and there are activities to suit all ages and interests, plus some excellent local places to eat and drink. We will be back as often as possible. Perfection.

Awesome Accomodation

A splendid accommodation equipped with everything needed for a wonderful self catering holiday. Very peaceful location with unbeatable views which are different everyday. The house is very near to main Connemara attractions including Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, Killary Cruise, Derrigimlagh Discovery Point, Sky Road, beautiful beaches etc. Debbie is very welcoming, caring, helpful and accommodating - it was a great pleasure to make her acquaintance. We wish the house was our permanent residence! - Paul and Marie

Superb Accommodation in Stunning Setting

We are repeat visitors to Debbie's house. Debbie is a friendly font of local information. The house is beautifully kept and regularly updated. The views, as ever, are breathtaking and change frequently with the light and the wind. It is mesmerising viewing - better than television. If, however, you would prefer television there are three with many channels. While cooking and looking out the window we have yet to need a kitchen implement which is not provided. If you prefer eating out there are are several great choices in the nearby villages. Glorious beaches and other locations for hiking or just a stroll are nearby.

Pardise at Sea for Miles

Sea for Miles is a five star property in the most beautiful part of North Connemara on the Renvyle peninsula. We were two couples who had a fabulous weekend in this house. The views from the kitchen and living room windows are absolutely stunning! We spent many happy hours sitting by the turf fire gazing out at the view of the Mweelrea mountain and Croagh Patrick - both of which were snowcapped! The scenery was ever changing with the weather and the coming and going of the tide. There are beautiful beaches nearby for a pleasant walk and mountains to climb if one was motivated to do so. The house is really well equipped and spotless. The bedrooms are like something out of a five star hotel. The silence at night time was fabulous and we slept really well. Debbie, the owner, was very helpful recommending good restaurants and pubs in the area and scenic walks. We would highly recommend this property both for people who want an active outdoors holiday or for the less ambulant like myself who enjoy gentle walks and then stunning scenery from the fire side!

Luxury with an amazing view!

Debbie's lovely home is the perfect base to explore the stunning Connemara, although it was very tempting to just sit and admire the stunning views, every changing and always beautiful no matter the time of day or the weather conditions. We were very lucky to have fine weather and spent three precious days taking a day trip to Galway, another to Roundstone via gorgeous Clifden and the day we left travelled south via the Cliffs of Moher. We also spent as much time as we could enjoying the local area, walking on the lovely beach, having a drink in a couple of the local pubs, very friendly and welcoming and spending time in Letterfrack . Everything you need is easily accessible. Debbie's home is luxurious, she has thought of everything. Debbie was so helpful and friendly it was lovely to meet her, she gave us some great tips re things to do and see and we did them all. We will definitely be back as soon as we can!

Sea For Miles--Magical

We can’t say enough about Sea for Miles, a gorgeous home on the Renvyle Peninsula where we spent an idyllic week. First of all, the home was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished, with a kitchen stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans and every kind of cooking implement imaginable. There was even a Kerig and pods to go with it. The beds were comfortable and the bed linens and duvets were what you would expect to find at a five star hotel. The house itself is spacious and looks out to the sea; the views from the front of the house are just breath-taking: constantly changing depending on the tides and the weather conditions. We spent hours watching the waves crash against the rocky shore and enjoying the rainbows that appeared with each passing shower. At night we enjoyed a cozy fire and my husband especially enjoyed the enormous flat-screen TV. Renvyle is home to a number of attractions—Kylemore Abbey is not to be missed, and the bustling little town of Clifden is a half-hour away. But one needn’t venture far for food; the town of Tully has plenty of places to eat. We particularly liked the seafood chowder at The Anglers’ Rest and the fish at Paddy Coyne’s. Connemara National Park is just down the road in Letterfrack , but in all honesty, the best part of our trip was just relaxing in Sea For Miles! The owner of the home was lovely and welcoming ; she explained everything clearly and there was a detailed binder that contained all sorts of information regarding the area’s attractions and services. If you are looking for an up-scale, meticulously cared for home with million-dollar views and every conceivable amenity, don’t delay— Sea for Miles books up quickly—and no wonder!

Very comfortable home. The view is absolutely amazing! We couldn't stop staring out the window to look at the sea. Located close to wonderful places like Connemara National Park, Inishbofin, and Clifdon. The locals are quite friendly, too. We loved this place and would highly recommend it!

Idyllic holiday location in Connemara

" Sea for miles" is all that the name suggests; a spacious, comfortable, well equipped bungalow with an unspoiled view of the Atlantic Ocean dotted with islands against a mountainous backdrop. The view from the lounge, dining room and kitchen was awesome. The property was immaculate and tasteful and as well equipped as the best full time home. The owner is very generous in the supplies provided in the storecupboard, all the basics and more. The beds were comfy and bed linen new.Debbie, the owner provided lots of helpful information and communicated very efficiently. We met Debbie's delightful Mum who lives next door, she treated us like family friends! Renvyle Peninsula combines a getaway from it all feel with easy access to places to eat, walking and hiking, tourist attractions like Kylemore Abbey and lots of other activities. We loved Renvyle House Hotel for a special meal and Paddy Coynes Pub for good fish dishes and a unique Irish pub experience. I would highly recommend this property to friends but would really prefer to keep this treasure a secret.

amazing views and warm welcome

The house is just as lovely as the photos show. We have never stayed anywhere with such amazing views. It was lovely to make food in the kitchen and sit at the dining room table and watch the world go by Debbie and her mum were so friendly and welcoming, it really made a difference to our stay. We were loathed to leave this happy, tranquil location. We will definitely return if we can. it was very beautiful in December and we would love to see it in the summer. Thanks Debbie for making our stay special.
