Mayfield is a modern semi detached house at the end of the avenue.. The house has recently been refurbished to a high standard. A conservatory has been added and there is plenty of outdoor space on the new patio.The lounge is large with comfy sofas and arm chairs. There is of course full central heating and new doubled glazed windows and doors. The large dining kitchen is also new and fully equipped. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and one with bunk beds. The new shower room is fitted with a wc and wash basin. Next to the house there is a grassed area suitable for older children to play . Mayfield is situated on the edge of Thornton Cleveleys and is an ideal base for visiting both Blackpool and Fleetwood and beyond.. Local buses stop on demand outside the house. The main bus service along Fleetwood Road is the no;14 which goes to Fleetwood and Blackpool. The beaches are just a short drive or bus ride. Fleetwood Freeport shopping village is on the 14 bus route. There are childrens attractions there as well as shopping. Fleetwoods traditional outdoor/indoor market is also very popular. Real ale fans must not miss the Strawberry Gardens also in Fleetwood Children are welcome at Mayfield and can play safely in the enclosed rear garden. Farmer Parrs Animal World is also very close. The Iron Horse pub is very popular with its outdoor play area for the kids. A cot , high chair and toys can be provided if required. For golf lovers there are courses at Fleetwood, North Shore, Stanley Park and Lytham St Annes. There is also a large sports center on Victoria road East This property is also very close to Rossall school and Fleetwood Nautical College This property can be booked with our other Thornton Cleveleys property Bluebell cottage which is just a 10 minute walk away , It is advertised on this website too. Listing accurately reflects a respectable clean semi on the edge of a very quiet estate - driveway parking, secure back garden for dogs, multiple supermarkets less than a 5 min drive, 10 mins from Backpool beach (a bit cold in January) - everything I needed for a break.
Thank you so much for our stay, the booking process and all was so easy and the host was amazing. I will be keeping your details and would love to stay at your property again. Such a lovely house, made our break away so enjoyable
This was the 2nd time we stayed in this house. Very clean and cosy. Close to shops, beach and local transport. Only down fall was no shelves in the fridge.
Would highly recommended and we would stay again.
Property as advertised - no issues with booking - location just what i wanted, near to seaside for dog walks, close to shops, quiet.

Nice property good location
We enjoyed staying here. Nicely furnished and in a good location. Even managed to keep our daughter happy with free wi-fi! She and we also loved the good location to Blackpool and did the tower eye ballroom pleasure beach and the zoo. We were sad to go. Loved Blackpool.
House was a lovely size. Nice to have an enclosed garden for younger children and dog. Nice quiet area close to amenities and 10 minute drive to Blackpool. Would recommend and will use again.
We had a great stay at this property. The house was perfect for our needs . It had everything we needed and was nicely decorated. It has a good size conservatory and it is in a good location , Ideal for visiting Blackpool, Fleetwood, Morecambe etc. It has an enclosed garden which was safe and secure for our dog. It would be ideal for a family . On the downside the kitchen cupboards could do with a good clean and also the carpet . Overall this is a good place to stay and would definitely stay again.
Plenty of space for a family, 2 decent size bedrooms and a small room with bunk beds.
Comfortable beds, 1 double, 1 king size. Decent size wardrobes and loads of hangers.
Nice conservatory on the back, spent a lot of time in there relaxing. Large back yard with patio furniture, good sun trap and sheltered from wind.
Drive on front of house ideal as the house is situated on a bus route, however not a noisy road. Very good value for money.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. Off road parking, enclosed garden which gets lots of sun and a lovely Conservatory too. Lots of areas on the doorstep for exercising the dogs. We had glorious weather too! Fleetwood, Cleveleys and St Anne's all within easy reach. The Co-op is close by for essentials and Seniors Fish and Chips in Thornton are a must - we paid an extra £1 and had them delivered to the door!
We definitely recommnd this lovely property - we feel relaxed and refreshed!
We saw this and went with the booking on a whim and boy am I glad we did. I have never rented a house for a holiday before and I think this stay may of spoilt us for other rentals. The house had everything we could need and was exactly as listed. It was clean and Comfortable and the only criticism which isn't really a criticism is that the info left could have where the main switch is for the oven as it took us a while to find on the night we arrived and we were starving haha. Will definitely be back..thank you 🙂

Great Stay
What a nice house. We rented as we were purchasing a property locally which was ideal. The house had everything to offer. Enclosed rear garden so the dog could not get out. Garage space so we could store our items which was a massive help. Ideally located for coast, shopping, restaurants and takeaways. We are really grateful to Helen for letting us stay a little longer until we could move into our new home. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in a convenient location and a lovely house.
We enjoyed our stay at this property, facilities were nice and there was adequate space for me, hubby and our 4 kids. Communication with owner was great and questions were answered promptly. Only downside was shower as wasn’t very strong so a struggle to wash long hair. We would stay again 😊
Mayfield house is a lovely cosy home as described. We were a family of three. The addition of a extra tv room in the conservatory and two hand rails on the stairs was very helpful and made the stay easy for my mother. The location was ideal for all the surrounding areas we were no more than 10 minutes away from where we planned to visit. There is a good local pub within walking distance and a local shop for supplies.
The property is in a really nice area. The house is very comfortable. Everything is provided. Towels, cleaning stuff. Good Wi Fi. We used our fire stick. There is a pub 5 mins walkaway that does food. There is a bus stop there No14 bus into Blackpool. We booked a Sainsbury's delivery for aboutan hour after we arrived. We had a rely good stay. The second time for us at this property after the so called "staycation" boom Helen has kept the price the same as all other properties have doubled in price.
Lovely quiet location number 75 bus gets you to the tram or 20 minute walk. A great base for Blackpool. Kay's fish and chips amazing.
The owner communicates well. The house was a really good size,plenty of clothes hangers in bedrooms,beds good to sleep on and a nice hot shower! Towels if you require them too! The kitchen has everything you need with a nice big table and a bonus to have a 50inch TV in the lounge(to watch football on,)and conservatory too. It's location is quiet with the pub and Co-op about 10 mins walk.

The house has been family owned for many years we are dog friendly and the cost depends on breed and number of dogs staying.please enquire.There are many grassed areas next to the house ideal for walking dogs. The beach is a 5min drive too. We have been hosting for 10 years
