Lovely property

A great week in a family oriented villa. Well equipped. Pool is too small for an adult to swim more than a couple of strokes but a good size for young children and for the whole family to cool off. It would be nice to have some information about the local area, such as good places to eat out etc. Previous reviews have mentioned the steep approach to the property but the owner supplies excellent suggestions and details on the best way to negotiate the bends and to enter the property. Well worth the effoirt for the spectacular views and all the facilities and entertainment options included. The owner was very helpful at all times and even provided some fresh fruit from the garden. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location, relaxing place to stay and had everything we needed.

We were a family of six and stayed here in July 2022 and I would consider staying at the property again. Great property 10-15 minutes’ drive to Almunecar (centre, supermarkets, beaches, and waterpark) with everything we needed and great views (take some binoculars). Excellent facilities including kitchen, bathrooms, washing areas (lots of hanging space near the kitchen and also further out into the garden), pool is a good size and bigger than what it looks in the pictures, and also lots of shaded areas to relax and eat. The outside games were a bonus (pool and table football), they were a great distraction if you needed to get out of the sun during the day – we also had a competition going on throughout the holiday. Great communication with friendly father and daughter - this was a trip planned that we had to delay due to the pandemic. We had a couple of problems during our stay and the Juan came the same day and sorted it out. If you are the driver you will have to get used to the road up to the villa, although after a couple of runs it starts to get a lot easier. It's up hill with a few sharp turns, but you get used to it. We had an 8-seater people-carrier so I imagine it would be much easier in a normal car. The only minor point is that we couldn’t walk to places as we had an older parent with us. It is possible to walk to places although you have to walk across some main roads at the bottom of the hill. We would have done this normally. There are no close shops/restaurants to nip to, so you will need a car to eat out or maybe a car plus a moped to nip to the shops. However, if you want to do a big shop and be locked away from people then this is an ideal place for you – it’s close to Almunecar but isolated, we only saw the owner and one neighbour and there is no through traffic. Overall great stay and would consider going again and would highly recommend.

Really good family villa

It had it all from a swimming pool, pool table, table football, 2 outside dining areas, 1 inside, good sized bedrooms and other things for young children e.g. strollers, beach and pool stuff - arm bands, floats, chairs. Parking for 2 cars and great hosts.

Great villa - great location

This villa exceeded our expectations. It is exceptionally well equipped, very spacious, and in a great location. The road up to the villa is not for the faint hearted driver, but you get used to it after the first couple of times! It is worth it for the views across the bay - and it is very quiet and secluded. Communication with Estibalez before our stay was excellent, and although we had no problems we felt confident that help was immediately on hand.

Fantastic!

We booked this lovely villa last minute and the owner was so responsive and accommodating. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much for them! The villa was immaculate, it’s not 5 star (or is the price)and we found it really homely. We have stayed in some fantastic places on owners direct and this won’t disappoint. The view is incredible, and overall we found it hard to leave the villa as we were so happy there! The road to the villa is a little tricky but after a couple of journeys it gets easier but it’s worth it! Overall we had a fantastic family holiday and the villa was 90% the reason, it’s jusy a lovely place to be. Best value villa ever 👌

Fantastic place

Stayed here 8/7-15/7/2017 This was a family holiday which we all enjoyed thoroughly 4 adults, 2 children 15months/7years. Everything we could ever need was there, a real home from home the dishwasher was a welcome sight. Every need catered for. Attention to detail for travelling from the airport to meeting point and a contact should there be any problems along the way. It is situated above a roundabout but a couple of days into the holiday we didn't hear it. The countryside and the views are amazing and accessible to Almunecar itself . A car is essential. Would definitely return.

Amazing stay - highly recommend

Eight of us spent amazing time in this villa. You will find here everything you need - it's fully equipped. The view from the terrace is so stunning, it couldn't be better. Also, I would like to say many thanks for the owners for being very pleasant and nice! We will definitely choose this villa if we go back to Spain! Thank you very much for such a good service!

Quiet well equipped and laid out villa

6 adults stayed at the villa we had plenty of room and all equipment needed was there. Great views out to sea and a good base to travel around A7 junction at the roundabout below so we went to torremolinos in an hour and also granada was only an hour away.best beach we found was left at the roundabout from the villa and then second turning for Salobrena. Alcampo we found best for shopping about 15 mins away at Motril. Beware the bendy steep road up to the villa from the roundabout. We stayed 10 nights and found it to be a great base to explore and sit in the evening to watch the sun set over the sea.

Magnificent stay

Luxury vacation house with magnificent sea views. We spent a few exceptional days absorbed in this natural setting. The villa is situated on a hillside in a quiet, private area. Is part of an estate of tropical fruits that you are free to pick without problems! We found it lovely to have fresh orange juice for breakfast. The house was very clean, bright, cosy and with nice furniture. Very complete kitchen with main and auxiliary appliances and a very comfortable barbecue next to the kitchen. Outside we enjoyed the swimming pool and the great playing area. With gorgeous views and sunny days, from 9 to 18 am. The temperature is extraordinary as well, 68-77 Celsius degrees permitting us even going in to the pool, which would be unthinkable in a London December. The sunsets over the Mediterranean are wonderful. Almuñécar is a beautiful, historic town. It has a large supermarket and a complete local market with plenty of fresh fruits, subtropical fishes, and loads of bars and restaurants. Not to say about the fact that you can be in Granada just in 40 minutes this is very close. We will also like to mention the nice treat receive from the host which was fantastic as well.

"The villa is lovely. It ...

"The villa is lovely. It is spacious and clean and well equipped. The views are beautiful, especially first thing in the morning. You need a car to access the property and this means that you can not walk into town even though it is quite close. However if you weigh up, the views and the peace and quiet,having to use the car,is not a hardship. It is ideal for children and teenagers. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding areas and the coastline both east and west. It is so well equipped, you dont even need to bring beach towels. My boys love the pool table. The family who own the villa have always been extremely helpful and friendly - nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this villa."

Toller Urlaub in ruhiger Lage

Das Haus war toll, viel Platz, alle möglichen Küchengeräte. Mit Terasse, Pool , Tischkicker und Billard waren unsere Kinder ständig draußen und beschäftigt. Die Aussicht war grandios, besonders abends.

Wunderbares Haus-perfekt ausgestattet

Wir genossen Anfang Oktober wunderbare Tage in diesem Haus. Es ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, es fehlte an nichts. Eine große Terrasse, wenn nötig überdacht, ein schöner Pool, Billard, Kicker usw. Eigentlich brauchte man gar nicht weg.

Ein toller Urlaub....

Die Finca hatte alles was das Herz begehrt und der Ausblick war wirklich jeden Morgen immer wieder fantastisch. Die Vermieter waren super nett und sehr bemüht uns alle Fragen zu beantworten und uns unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Alles in Allem ein sehr gelungener und schöner Urlaub.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit traumhafter Aussicht

Das Ferienhaus liegt etwas oberhalb mit traumhafter Aussicht auf die Bucht von Almunecar. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist abenteuerlich, sehr steil. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Lediglich das Badezimmer ist sehr klein (das obere Badezimmer haben wir zu zweit nicht genutzt) und die Duschabtrennung auf der Badewanne sollte geölt werden - sehr schwergängig. Der Kontakt zum Eigentümer war prima und die Abwicklung war reibungslos. Der Außenbereich mit Pool ist ein Traum. Wir haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen.
