Great place to stay

Lovely mid sized apartment with everything you need to have a pleasant stay. Close to cafes restaurants bakeries you name it’s there. Lovely walk to the farmers market and antique market. I would recommend.

Wonderful stay

Never having been in Montpellier the apartment was the perfect place to start from. P Préfecture nextdoor, Les Halles Castellanes for food across the square, everything within walking distance, because the apartment is situated so centrally. We also enjoyed the small balcony for breakfast and rest after a tiring day!

At the risk of creating tighter availability, this is my home-away-from-home when in Montpellier. Kitchen is well-equipped, it's clean, close to everything, and Pamela could not be any more responsive; just a great place all-round. This is my, I think, fourth or fifth stay and it's been tops from Day One.

A wonderful flat with ideal location in central Montpellier. Pamela was extremely friendly and helpful in clarifying all questions we had. But ... for us the noise from the streets was almost unbearably some nights.

Ecusson as Springboard

Fantastic location in the heart of the historic center of Montpellier. Apartment had everything we needed to (walk to) enjoy its many restaurants, cultural sites, museums (Musee Art Brut was a real treat) and shops in the immediate area. Anytime we needed something, it was there, and anytime (really only pnce) the apartment needed anything, Pamela was there. Three-plus weeks was just not enoughtime to take it all in. Tom. PS: Consider making papier-mache creatures with Samy at Mitouls Factory.

One is unlikely to find a better equipped VRBO, particularly in the kitchen, and I have stayed in many. Large well-furnished rooms make one feel at home not in rental accommodation. The building itself is an architectural classic. Lovely balcony to have al fresco lunches and dinners while watching the interesting parade of people below. The location couldn't be more central and of special interest to foodies such as me. Les Halles Castelane, a gourmet market with super stalls, are steps away. A small but well stocked supermarket is across the square which also has a number of cafés/restaurants. All the tourist and cultural sites are within a short radius of this property. A delightful stay!

Die Wohnung liegt absolut zentral. Es gibt direkt angrenzend ein Parkhaus. Bei lämgerem Aufenthalt lohnt es sich im Polygon Parkhaus zu buchen. Die Vermittlerin der Wohnung ist sehr gut zu erreichen und antwortet unverzüglich. Buche jederzeit gerne wieder.

We purchased the apartment in 2009 after falling in love with the beautiful, vibrant and historic city of Montpellier. It is such a magical place with so much on offer while also within easy reach of the surrounding countryside and picturesque French villages and the Mediterranean coastline.

Why they chose this property

The apartment was newly built in 2009 in an existing building in the very heart of the Ecusson - the historic centre of Montpellier. While the Haussmann style building is bursting with classical charm, the apartment benefits from a modern fixtures including a lift which is rare in older French apartment buildings. But the jewel in the crown of this apartment is the stunning balcony that offers beautiful views over one of Montpellier's most famous squares.

What makes this property unique

Step out the front door of the building and you will be on a beautiful square with lovely French cafes and restaurants. There is so much to do within an easy stroll of the apartment but if you prefer to stay in you can watch the action from the balcony with a glass of local wine - the Languedoc-Roussillon region is a major wine producer with Vin de Pays d'Oc and sparkling Crémant de Limoux among its best-known varieties.
