This lovely and pleasant little blue house nicknamed 'the blue island' is located 40 meters from the sea, on the landing coast, south exposure, enclosed grounds and views of the sea.

It is very well equipped and comfortable.

The beach is huge, notice to lovers of ballads and sea bathing, without forgetting the fishermen.

You will have the opportunity to visit many sites on the landing beaches (Utah Beach, Sainte Mère Eglise (1st town in France liberated), Vauban constructions (Saint Vaast la Hougue and others), Mont Saint Michel and many other places to visit ....

Pleasant quiet vacation

Cozy house with charm right next to the beach. Very friendly people, beautiful surroundings and lots of relaxation. We look forward to vacationing here again.

Perfect for nature lovers

The house is old and cozy and contains everything you need. Very nice with the enclosed garden when you travel with a dog. Lovely area for walks. The nicest and no nonsense landlady you will ever find😁

A hidden gem

Took some finding.the house is tucked away.we used what 3 words to find it. PREVENTABLE.SESAME.RUMS will take you straight there.the lady turned up as soon as i rang.very nice lady who showed us the house.nipping clean.toilet shower downstairs next to well equiped kitchen except a nice butter knife and pizza wheel would make it outstanding.living room very comfortable with wifi and a smart box with utube which we could watch english films.bedrooms with toilet upstairs very comfortable.loved the blinds which keep it dark all night.sitting out in the garden was nice.well sheltered from any wind.had a walk along beachfront.nice views so all in all very pleasent and worth the money.

Madame Claudine was there to meet us with a big beautiful smile. The cottage was all we expected, really well laid out with all amenities. We did have a peer cut which turned out to caused by a faulty dishwasher, and we had some problems with the oven. But lo and behold next day there was a new dishwasher AND a new oven, what service. The area is dilightful with so many places to visit, and the moving experience regarding the D Day landings was overpowering. Thank you Claudine fir being the the perfect host. Toller Kurzurlaub

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im blauen Haus sehr genossen. Alles war wie beschrieben,die Vermieterin sehr freundlich und herzlich. Super schöne Lage, die Nähe zum Strand ist einfach wunderbar, das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und hat alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht., Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen. Super Zeit

Es war eine tolle Zeit in dem Ferienhaus. Es liegt wie beschrieben sehr nah am Meer und im Oktober hatten wir den Strand mehr oder weniger für uns alleine. Wir konnten Stundenlang am Meer spazieren. Die Umgebung hat viele Ausflugziele und spannende Geschichte zu bieten. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.

Perfektes Domizil - können wir nur bestens empfehlen

Wir können dieses Ferienhaus nur empfehlen - aus dem Gartentor raus und 40 m weiter direkt am Strand. Haus ist eingezäunt und war somit perfekt für unseren Hund. Haus hat alles was man braucht. 14 herrliche Tage und eine super nette Vermieterin.

Das blaue Haus am Meer

Das Haus und die Lage am Meer haben uns 14 wunderschöne Tage beschert. Claudine und ihr Mann sind super freundlich! Nachts die Wellen rauschen hören und in der Früh zwitschernde Vögel, sonst NIX, einfach herrlich, so wie auch die langen Spaziergänge am fast menschenleeren Strand! Einige Ausflüge in die Umgebung, die Geschichtet ist hier allgegenwärtig.

Agréable séjour

Nettes, blaues Haus

Nettes kleines Haus, 40 Meter vom Strand, mit Blick auf das Meer aus einem Schlafzimmer. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet und hat ausreichend Platz für 3-4 Personen. Betten für mind. 4 Personen. Der Zustand entspricht dem Alter und der Nutzung. Zusätzliche Kosten für Strom (Heizung Ende März unerlässlich) muss berücksichtigt werden. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat uns mit zusätzlichen Infos zur Umgebung versorgt. Wir hatten eine unkomlizierten, schönen Aufenthalt und unser Hund hatte seinen Spass im eingezäunten Garten und am Strand, der zur der Zeit fast menschenleer war.

Vacances visites & détox

Petite maison chaleureuse et (littéralement) à quelques pas de la mer ce qui permet de chouettes balades sans devoir prendre systématiquement la voiture. La région est magnifique, il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter. L'accueil et le contact avec Claudine était très bienveillant et facile (encore merci à elle!).

Heerlijk huis op steenworpafstand van de zee

Het vakantiehuis van mevrouw Ribet vormt een geweldig onderkomen om Normandië te bezoeken. Het huis is prima ingericht, van alle gemakken voorzien en voor een gezelschap als het onze (2 volwassenen, 1 tiener en een kleine hond) ruim genoeg. De nabijheid van de zee is echt een uniek aspect. Niet alleen wandel je in 1 minuut het strand op, ook de frisse zeelucht doet een mens goed. De ontvangst door mevrouw Ribet is hartverwarmend. Ze neemt de tijd om alles helder uit te leggen, beantwoordt alle vragen en biedt (ons in ieder geval) een heerlijke zelfgemaakte fles Cider aan. Een lokale delicatesse! Ze brengt zeer veel gastvrijheid over. De locatie van het huis is uitstekend; de gehele WO 2 kust is zeer goed bereikbaar, maar ook Mont St.-Michel of Caen is goed te doen. Een strandwandeling op 40 meter van het huis is ook een fijne optie. Kortom, een aanrader.
