Wonderful and convenient!

Everything from Donatella's communications, directions and advice, through to the apartment's location a stones throw from Campo San Marco couldn't have been better. Facilities in the apartment were superb. Just like a home from home! Feel like a local, not just a tourist. Highly recommended.

Brilliant host and exceptional apartment

We loved staying here. The apartment is literally 2 minutes from San Marco and is very well situated for super markets, cafes, restaurants. The space was really clean and tidy and there was everything we needed; from loo roll, olive oil to herbal tea. The host was easy to communicate with and we had all the info we needed. We would both stay here again!

If youre staying in Venice this is the place to be. You can't ever get lost St Marks is signposted.

As advertised, you will not have much time around Venice so staying some where easily located and covered by transport will save you valuable time. Sit outside in the cool of the evenings sip a glass of wine you can't beat it. Three minutes will take you to St Marks Square five to the waterbus across St Marks and from the side of the church its a straight path. Everything you need is readily available in the area and the apartment has everything else you could require. Would stay again anytime if I could.

perfect location

The property is located in the heart of San Marco a minute away from san marco square. Apartment itself is very well equipped , heating and aircon available too. The shop was just round the corner and saved us a lot of £ especially for breakfast. Donatella is a lovely host. She was waiting for us in the apartment to give us all the keys etc. it is worth to mention that the tax is not included in the price of the flat and its £3 per adult per night - kids upto 10 years old dont have to pay. We highly recommend this place.

Fantastic accommodation and location

All communication with Donatella was very easy and she was very helpful. Good instructions on how to find the apartment and Donatella was waiting. The accommodation is literally 1 minute walk from St Mark's Square but is an oasis away from the busy streets of Venice. The roof garden is a lovely place to enjoy a bottle of Prosseco. Strongly recommend this apartment.

Perfect Base for a few Days in Venice

I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to experience Venice to the fullest. Its location about 2 minutes' walk from the Piazza San Marco is absolutely fantastic, and it's great to be in the midst of the buzz of the town. Despite this it is very peaceful and quiet from about 10pm, so sleeping was not a problem at all. I loved hearing the bells tolling occasionally during the night, my boyfriend not so much - I suppose it depends how light a sleeper you are whether this would bother you or not. The apartment itself is beautiful (just as in the photos) and definitely enhanced the experience for me (even though we were out and about the majority of the days). We really appreciated the ability to prepare our own food and snacks, as we found eating out very expensive. There is a supermarket about 5 minutes' walk away, so everything we needed was at hand. The kitchen was well-equipped, as was the remainder of the apartment Donatella's communication leading up to our stay was excellent - she always responded very quickly and provided us with all the information we needed. If I am lucky enough to come back to Venice someday, I hope I will be staying here again

The property was fine the position was ideal and as described.

The week passed to quickly Venice is ideal for a city break.there is so much to see,and you must be prepared to do a lot of walking.you are spoiled for choice for eating out.Donatella was very helpful in showing us around the apartment .we found the apartment had everything we needed if you wanted to eat in.the shower is very quirky ?.we could not get wifi but perhaps that was a good thing as our son lives in London.

"While near to St. Marks Square, the noise was minimal and nothing to concern one. The equipment was all that was needed-- plus some, and A/C was excellent. We would stay again!!!! Donatella smashing!"

Wonderful stay in Venice

Donatella was great welcoming me into the apartment with excellent directions and checking in. The place is just as pictured and very well equipped with everything you will need. If you like to cook you will not be disappointed. Venice is right at your feet with wonderful restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location, Fantasitc host

Wow! A fantastic location, steps from Piazza San Marco. Easy to find, despite those famous maze-like Venice alleyways! Donatella was an amazing host. She was quick to respond to my multiple inquiries, especially when there were some unexpected delays to my arrival time. Her instructions on navigating alleyways to find the location, check in and check out were super clear. Highly recommend!!

Best VRBO so far

This was the third VRBO we have stayed at, all top rated. Donatella offers the best of the three. The cleanliness, expanse, furnishings, supplies, location are lovely. The kitchen is well supplied and spacious and well lit. There is 1 1/2 bathrooms. Donatella was always available and very helpful. We would stay again. Thank you,Donatella for everything.

Everything you need

This location is perfect, home is beautiful and filled with antique furniture, and has everything you could need for your stay. Our host thought of everything! I will definitely stay here next time I come to Venice!

Venice vacation

Donatella's home is absolutely beautiful-you can definitely trust the photos! The kitchen was well equipped with all you would need for cooking and then some! Having 2 bathrooms was a luxury and she had plenty of toilet paper (trust me-that doesn't happen in all rentals) We loved the spaciousness of her home, especially with the outdoor terrace. Donatella was SO easy to work with and very accommodating with our check in. She gave thorough directions to her home and was available if we needed her. Super simple which made for a relaxing vacation. Thanks so much Donatella
