Great view

The apartment was in a great location only a short walk to the centre and travel services. It has great out door space but limited furniture for sitting outside. I didn’t think the pricing was very clear as its advertised as 3 bedrooms but only has 2, the 3rd would be in the lounge area. Also charged extra for 5 people when it’s advertised as sleeps more than that. Just check your total charge before you confirm.

Fabulous apartment in Sorrento

We were so happy to stay in this apartment, which had the most amazing balcony, which was huge and wrapped around the building. With views to the sea, Vesuvius and the mountains, it was the perfect place to relax. The host’s parents were really kind and welcoming and gave us homemade lemoncello, lemons, tomatoes from their garden and biscuits. We were really pleased with the location; a short walk from Netto supermarket, a fab pizzeria called Decanter and the most amazing cake shop called Monica’s. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back. Thanks again!

Fabulous apartment

Everything about this apartment was fabulous! The location is brilliant, less than 10 mins walk into the main square, supermarket and loads of restaurants 2 mins walk. Owners parents met us at the gate to let us in, show us around and explain how everything worked. Owner was also available to contact via WhatsApp and replied immediately to any queries! Apartment is very spacious, spotlessly clean and well stocked, even providing all the general necessities but also everything you might need during your stay- adapter plugs, liquid for washing machine, shower gel etc that normally you have to purchase. Loads of towels, even ones for the beach. The views from the balcony was the icing on the cake - spectacular!

Amazing Views

We really enjoyed our stay. The terrace has an incredible view from all sides. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The location was also great. Only a short walk into the centre and there was a brilliant Netto supermarket at the end of the road. We were welcomed with open arms when we arrived. We would highly recommend staying here ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A perfect stay

From the moment of initial enquiry through to check out it is impossible to find fault with this apartment. Roomy, well equipped, comfortable, well located, clean and quiet were all features of this lovely flat. Communication with the host was always of the highest standard and check in was easy. Once in, the apartment had everything we could wish for including amazing balconies, comfortable bed and a super powerful shower. Kitchen was reasonably equipped with everything you are likely to need. There were fresh oranges and lemons from the family farm plus some limoncello and some very tasty olive oil. The apartment is well placed, about half a kilometre from the town centre with some excellent restaurants and supermarkets very close to the apartment. Therefore, for those looking for a flat in Sorrento I would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Happy holidays

You would have to be picky to find something wrong with this apartment. My husband and I are pensioners and after walking most of the day to be able to sit out on the rooftop terrace was bliss. You can get out of the sun by just moving round the corner. A cup of tea sat in bed with the French doors open looking over the sea to mount vesuvius, well it doesn't get much better than this . The host and his wife are adorable and left us a bottle of homemade lemon cello , a basket full of oranges and lemons, a bottle of olive oil and eggs from their own chickens. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect Apartment, great location

My family and me have just returned from a fantastic two week holiday in Sorrento. We were greeted at Sorrento’s train/bus station by the Gerardo’s father, who then drove us to the apartment (10 minute walk away). On arrival at the apartment, we were welcomed by Gerardo’s mother, who made us coffee, gave us limoncello, olive oil, and fresh fruit and vegetables; this was a perfect start, especially the limoncello! The apartment’s location is ideal for walking into Sorrento’s centre, and for visiting neighbouring towns. The combined train and bus station is ideal for travelling to Pompeii, Positano and Amalfi. The port is only 15 minutes away, which is where you can get the ferry to Capri; definitely worth a visit. The apartment had everything we needed, especially the terrace which has amazing sea and countryside views, and a wonderful view of Mount Vesuvius. I never got bored of sitting on the terrace of a morning, drinking coffee and staring at Vesuvius. When it was time to leave, Gerardo’s father dropped us at the train station. Gerardo and his parents are lovely people. This was one of our best holidays. We were so sad to leave.

a lovely comfortable property in a brilliant location .Spectacular views from the spacious terrace.

what a wonderful holiday .we were greeted by Gerado's mother and father . Very warm welcoming people who very kindly left us all sorts of home grown and homemade goodies . Fresh eggs ,home bottled tomatoes, home made limoncello, olive oil, and fresh lemons and oranges .That was a wonderful start to our holiday ,the apartment was well situated ,very close to a supermarket and a lovely family run Trattoria where we ate most evenings. The station was a short walk away and we travelled to Pompeii by train very easily . We were able to walk to the main square within minutes and from there on to the harbour .We stayed for 6 days but will certainly be making a return visit .Thankyou so much for a lovely stress free way to visit Sorrento .We loved the Italian experience.

Wonderful apartment

We have just returned from 12 nights in Gerardo's fabulous apartment. It has everything you could need for a superb holiday, very well appointed. All our contact with Gerardo from our initial enquiry right through the booking process was made very easy by his prompt replies to our messages. When we arrived in Sorrento to be greeted at the station by Gerardo's father Francesco and driven the short distance to the apartment we were made to feel really welcome - the gifts of limoncello, milk. ice creams. olive oil and figs was a lovely surprise and very generous. The views from all sides of the terrace are fantastic and the location is brilliant, only a very short walk away from all of Sorrento's attractions, restaurants etc. Thank you Gerardo and your parents for a fantastic holiday - we hope to return in the future!

Best Location in Sorrento

We had an amazing stay in this home - it had everything my friends and I needed. There were 2 bedrooms- one with a king bed and one with 2 twin beds plus trundles. The rooftop terrace was huge and the views were amazing. We felt very safe and it was very quiet and peaceful. The owner Gerardo was very nice and his parents greeted us to show us around the apartment. They offered us homemade limoncello and olive oil, and lemons and oranges from their garden. An easy walk to Piazza Tasso, the train and bus stations and the harbor. Even closer to 2 grocery stores, a bakery and gelato shop and a couple of pizza places. Ibisco was a great restaurant just around the corner.

Great property - great location - great people

We loved our stay in this apartment. Communication with the owner was easy- he was very responsive, patient with us being a bit late, and gave good recommendations. One of the highlights of the stay was being greeted by his Italian parents and having them show us around the apartment. Kind, wonderful, people. It was a very Italian experience! The apartment has everything you need, and it’s only a 10-minute walk to the main street in Sorrento. There are also local restaurants very close by that are excellent. I highly recommend staying in this property!

Perfect stay- Perfect Location

Our stay in Sorrento was absolutely awesome! The location of this apartment was perfect for walking around town. The view was spectacular, we couldn't get enough of it. The apartment was perfect for us. Very roomy. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone looking to stay in Sorrento, the cutest town on the Amalfi Coast, it was so convenient to get around to other towns. The only slightly downside was the check in, we didn't know the town yet and it was very stressful. But the property owner was very communicative with us at all times.

Magnificent View ! Stunning Place for a Holiday !

This is an amazing place to stay for a holiday in Sorrento. My wife and I spent three nights in this penthouse, and we were warmly welcomed by the property manager Gerardo's parents, who greeted us with local lemons and cakes. They mostly spoke Italian, but with a little English and plenty of gestures, we communicated effortlessly. They were incredibly kind and thoughtful. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the town center and ferry. The penthouse is spacious, with a balcony off the main bedroom and a huge rooftop terrace offering stunning views of the shoreline. The large bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. Gerardo was very responsive to all our inquiries, and we highly recommend this penthouse to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday experience in Sorrento!

Spectacular view and very convenient

A highlight of the trip was getting a warm welcome from the apartment's owners at check-in. They showed us how to make coffee and use the washing machine. The apartment was well stocked with coffee and even clothes detergent. There was a supermarket just a few steps away. They were very accommodating and even loaned us beach towels for our boat trips. The expansive views of Vesuvious and the Bay of Naples were spectacular. The apartment was well located and only a short walk from the main action in Sorrento main square. The washing machine and clothes lines were welcome. The place was spacious.

Lovely stay and Lovely view

Great location, the view from the roof top terrace was tremendous. We ate breakfast on the terrace every morning. The parents of the property manager, Gerardo, met us and showed us around. They didn't speak English but we were able to communicate with them enough to get the "lay of the land". They were lovely. There were 2 bedrooms and a foldout sofa (my sister said was very comfortable). The kitchen was stocked with ample equipment, some noshes and espresso. We had no problem making a lovely dinner one night. The location was within walking distance to the center of town so we did not need to get transportation except for tours. We would return to this property in a heartbeat. Gerardo, was very responsive in communicating with us as the need arose.

Beautiful Apartment with gorgeous patio

The location of this apartment is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the main piazza. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful (Francesco even provided a ride to the train station in the pouring rain). They made sure we had everything we needed. The patio area of the apartment provides a beautiful spot to unwind at the end of the day.

Perfect vacation getaway!

My family and I came to Sorrento for our first time in Italy. We were met by our hosts with fresh eggs, olive oil, garlic, and 2 bottles of cold water. They were very kind and showed us everything about their apartment and the surrounding location. Everything we needed was within walking distance. We loved visiting Sorrento and hope to go again soon!

Une très agréable semaine à Sorrente dans l'appartement de la famille de Gerardo !

Nous avons loué cet appartement avec une vue magnifique et une immense terrasse. L'appartement est agréable. La procédure d'arrivée est un peu compliquée car, même si Gerardo est très précis dans ses explications, l'accueil fait par ses parents qui sont absolument charmants mais ne parlent qu'Italien rend la prise en main des lieux un peu fatigante, d'autant plus quand l'on a fait un long trajet. Si il y a la climatisation, elle n'est toutefois pas dans les chambres mais uniquement dans le couloir qui les dessert. Il y a néanmoins des ventilateurs dans chaque pièce. Il n'y a pas de lave vaisselle, et l'évacuation de l'évier de la cuisine était capricieuse. Mais nous avons compris que de toute façon le style de vie local est d'aller au restaurant le plus souvent possible, et ceux-ci sont très nombreux! L'appartement est très bien placé, nous avons laissé notre voiture dans le parking où nous a accompagné la propriétaire, et cela s'est très bien passé. Globalement, notre souvenir est excellent, les défauts ne sont pas importants, nous retiendrons surtout que Sorrente est une ville où il fait bon passer des vacances, et cet appartement nous a permis pleinement de vivre cela. Mention spécial pour le Limoncello fait maison par Madame!
