Lovely House with Easy Access to Paris

This is a lovely house, big, comfortable, stylish and very French. There is off-street parking for a large car in a secure garage. The garden is a pleasant place to sit in the evenings. We were so pleased with the location. The suburb is quiet and safe. There's a very big supermarket (Intermarche) just 8 minutes' walk away, and a fabulous boulangerie (La Chaumette) just 3 minutes away. The RER train into the centre of Paris is fast, regular and good value. We bought Paris Visite cards which allowed us to go anywhere in Zones 1, 2 and 3 of the transport network. (The house is in Zone 3). Usually we got off at Chatelet-Les Halles, which is convenient for many sights in central Paris. It takes 20 to 25 minutes and we were always able to get a seat. The French trains are much better than in the UK! Bernadette was a great host, very welcoming and patient with our late arrival. If we visit Paris again as a family we would definitely want to stay here. Highly recommended.

Great spacious accommodation with easy access to Paris

This is a bright and spacious house with lovely furniture in a quiet tree-lined residential road, very close to a RER station with frequent, inexpensive trains to Paris, and a large 24h supermarket next to the RER station. There is an excellent bakery very close, and there are local restaurants nearby. The owner Bernadette welcomed us when we arrived at the house, explained everything about keys, heating etc, and was easily contactable thereafter. We loved staying here and hope we will be able to return at some point in the future.

Perfect for Paris

6 of us have just returned from our stay at this property and we absolutely loved it. Our group - two grandparents, us two and our two children (6 and 5) loved this property. It was easy to navigate into the centre of Paris, with the RER A taking us straight to Chatelet to start most of our exploring. We bought 5 day passes in advance for the RER and metro which worked perfectly. The house was a really comfortable base, from heading into La Varenne for a meal on our first night, breakfast from the local boulangerie each day and heading into Paris to explore some sights. We went to the Pompidou Centre, the Eiffel Tower, Sainte Chapelle and boat trip on the Seine. We returned happily tired at the end of each day. Of course, with three days to explore we didn't really scratch the surface and there are plenty more places we want to see, including exploring the area near the house some more. We had a french tea in the house each evening. and the local supermarket was a great start for this - again we only began to scratch the surface of all the wine and cheese! I think this property is great value - it comfortably fitted all six of us, and although I loved seeing Paris in the Autumn, the house looks perfectly set for long summer evenings as well. We'll just have to come back.

Perfect place to stay for our trip to Paris.

Great place to stay for a trip to Paris. Train station just a few minutes walk away. The house was the perfect place to relax in after a days sightseeing and had everything we needed. We arrived very late into the evening and Bernadette was there to welcome us and get us settled in with some good advice about some of the things we had planned to do... Thank you! The whole booking process went really well too. We all had a great time

Our first holiday in Paris was great as this villa we stayed.We loved it from the first moment we walked in.Was very very spacious and u can find everything u need on it.Bernadette is so kind as she will provide u with everything u need even extras.The villa is well situated,just 20min from city centre and the area is so quiet and peaceful.We would highly recommend this place for a big family or a group of friends as we were.Is the perfect place for the perfect holiday.Thank you Bernadette!

Lovely property, very helpful hosts, great location

We stayed here for four nights recently while visiting Disneyland Paris. We were five adults, a toddler and a baby. The owners met us on arrival and were lovely and very helpful. They provided a folder containing details of transport, shops, boulangeries, restaurants etc etc which was great. The house has a lovely enclosed garden, which was great with children and a garage for one car. We had two cars but were able to park right next to the house for the four days. It was a very easy 30 minute drive to Disneyland Paris or you could take the train, the station being only 5 mins walk from the house. If we had had more time we would have done a train trip into central Paris - only 30 minutes. One of our party flew into Charles de Gaulle airport and got the train (only one change) to the local station and then walked to the house, so you could even manage without a car if you wanted to. There is a large supermarket within walking distance. The house had everything you needed for a family stay and the kitchen was great, including a dishwasher and washing machine. Would definitely return to this house if visiting the area again.

It is a charming house in a quite and nice neighbourhood. The host was very friendly and welcomed us warmly.We had wonderful time roaming around the area as well. In 500m, there is train station which takes you to centre of Paris and all its attractions. There are some nice bakery too, with very friendly people.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es bietet alles, was man braucht und ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Man läuft ca. 5 Minuten bis zur RER. Bäcker und sonstige Geschäfte in Fußnähe.

Un pied à terre parfait pour Paris!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cette grande maison conviviale. La localisation est très appréciable, seulement 30 min pour être en plein centre de Paris et les bords de Marne sont magnifiques au printemps! Les environs sont très calmes, les courses peuvent se faire à pied et la maison est confortable. Le jardin est bien agreable également. La maison est toute équipée et convenait parfaitement pour notre sejour en famille de 6 personnes. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir!

Another Fantastic Stay

This was our second stay in Bernadette's home in the past 14 months. She did some remodeling to the home and it feels much brighter now. The home is spacious for our family with two growing teens and the neighborhood is so convenient and easy to get to. Highly recommend!
