Stunning hidden gem

The villa is fabulous and fully equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. The views over the bay are spectacular and the sunsets at night were absolutely stunning. We loved swimming off the private jetty which is just across the road from the house. Nedo Ana’s Dad was very kind and brought us freshly picked figs and his lovely wife made us a delicious chocolate marble cake. The village of Razanj is beautiful and we enjoyed the walk into the village where there are lovely restaurants and cafes. There was a mobile bakery van that visited our street every morning and had a great selection of pastries and bread. This was our first visit to Croatia. Such a beautiful country and we’ll definitely be back. The villa was amazing. Thank you Ana and Nedo.

Wonderful villa in a special place

We had a fabulous week in this villa. The design was perfect for our family of 5 and we enjoyed all aspects of the villa and its location - the outside seating and pool area with much appreciated retractable awnings, the games room, the spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and easy access to the beach & sea. The host family have a weekend house next door and gave us a very warm welcome and friendly send off. When they were not there, they were very easy to contact by phone with questions. We went to the village restaurants most nights - a 15 min (hilly) walk - and enjoyed all our meals, particularly the food at Restaurant Oliveo and the sunset views from the balcony terrace at Prstac. The fish & bakery vans tooted their horns outside the window most mornings and the kids enjoyed running down to buy bread & pastries. The sea was a joy to swim in and we enjoyed using paddle boards and snorkeling. We hope to come back soon!

Great villa , well worth a visit ! Enjoyed ever changing views over the Adriatic Sea . Superb clean & modern villa , very well equipped. Great size pool heated to 28 degrees. Host Ana & her parents , we’re very helpful , nothing was to much trouble, thank you !

Beautiful villa and location!

From the time of booking through to the end of our stay communication with Ana was quick and efficient. Her parents who live in the villa next door made sure we were greeted and they waved us off with gifts. They provided fruit and drinks on arrival at the villa. The villa itself is perfect. Sparkling clean with high quality furniture and decor. It is quite a hilly and rural location but is in a beautiful bay with crystal clear water and lots of little boats coming and going to watch from the private beach (not sand but a spacious ledge with sunbeds and direct access to the sea). Our teenagers regressed to their younger years and enjoyed looking for crabs, urchins etc..We were lucky with hot, sunny weather. The view and sunsets from the villa are amazing,. Probably one of the best places we have ever stayed. Several local towns to visit and Krka waterfalls stunnning. As it was out of season not all restaurants were open but we always found places to eat. Otherwise, lots of Lidls scattered about and the village has a well stocked supermarket. due to the rural location (about 15 mins from main road) a car is a must. People with mobility issues would find all the steps and hills in the area challenging. The whole area is very unspoilt. We would love to return. Ana and her family went above and beyond when we left something in the rental car, they collected it from the airport for us and posted it back..we couldn't be more grateful!

Perfect holiday

We had a fantastic holiday, everything was so lovely, the country, the villa and the hosts. The villa was beautifully presented and very well equipped. It was in an idyllic location with the most wonderful views. The owners were very friendly, helpful and generous - thanks for the treats throughout our stay! The sea was about a minute walk from the villa and was great fun, we enjoyed swimming, snorkeling and paddle boarding most days and even hired a boat for a day to explore some of the local bays. During our stay we visited Split and a more local town Sibernik and we took a trip to the gorgeous waterfalls in Krka National Park (this was a very busy place!). The local town was about 15 minutes walk away and quite a hilly walk too, but has a few restaurants, cafe bar and small supermarket - there's also a lovely wine bar near the harbour. We took the taxi boat to Rogoznica several times where there are more restaurants. This trip took about 20 minutes and was well worth it! We were all sad to come to the end of this holiday, I would love to return and would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful luxury villa in beautiful waterside location

Our family of four had a fabulous week in this villa which is beautifully presented and in a gorgeous sea view location. The host family live next door and are incredibly helpful and hospitable. We spent our days swimming and snorkelling in the clear blue sea from our own private jetty in front of the house or seeking shade in the roofed pool and sunbathing area. A small village with 4-5 restaurants, a shop and a ferry to another town is 15 minutes (hilly) walk away. We also rented a paddle board ( companies deliver water sports equipment to the house) and enjoyed day trips to Trogir and krka national park. The kids loved to listen out for the bread and pastry van who comes to deliver outside in time for breakfast. All in all I couldn’t recommend the villa or the peaceful, scenic locality enough for a relaxing break.

Beautiful villa with the most incredible terrace, great for families especially with the games room

Such a wonderful villa! Beautiful location and fantastic terrace. The pool was brilliant fun, the kids played while we relaxed. It's so quiet at night we slept really well in the cool downstairs bedrooms. The kitchen is really well equipped and you will be so well looked after by Nedo & Blanca. Thank you so much for all our treats! We can highly recommend paddle boarding at Primesten and rafting at Omis (we used rafting priates who were excellent). Take the scenic walk to the high up pizzeria for dinner for a beautiful sunset and an evening in Trogior is a must. You won't be disappointed with this amazing villa. We will be back!!

Absolutely beautiful villa and location

I strongly recommend Villa FortunaMaris. The villa was spotless, the views were perfect, the pool was warm, and plenty of space. Ana and her family were very warm and welcoming helping us every step of the way. The location was perfect for visiting Trogir, Krka National Park and Split (we hired a car). My husband swam in the sea every day, there’s so many fish. We had a go at cycling using the bikes provided. There’s also a couple of lovely walks, one to a small church with an amazing, panoramic view across the sea. Another up hill to an old fort. We absolutely loved the villa and the generosity of the hosts, we would love to return again one day.

An amazing property with exceptional views over a beautiful bay. You will not be disappointed!

This property is wonderful. It is modern and exceptionally clean. The pool area is great, and the views across the bay are out of this world. The sunbathing area at the beach is also beautiful. The whole family loved it. Unfortunately for me I was very ill while we stayed, but Ana and her family were so kind and helpful, they recommended a doctor and Nedo drove me into Split to see a her and also to the hospital. They were perfect hosts. I would highly recommend this villa and Ana and her family as hosts. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality.

Fabulous spot

We had a great week at this villa in Razanj. It's in a friendly bay of family houses and we relished the chance of cooling off in the sea as well as the pool. There's a local guy who will deliver a kayak to your door so you can paddle round the bay. The villa is newly built and everything works really well. Ana and her family were particularly kind even popping round with a cake and figs from their garden! There's plenty to do in the area: a ferry can take you on a short hop to Rogoznica with its seafront of restaurants; Primosten is a cute beach town with restaurants and water floats; there are the historic towns of Trogir and Sibenik; lots of boat trips and Krka falls - although it's best to avoid the peak time and go later in the day. Thanks for this great experience of Croatia.

Top class luxury villa

We are a group of three couples who stayed in the villa first week of September and it was wonderful, it was our first time in Croatia and we loved it. The villa had everything we needed and more besides. We couldn't get enough of the framed view out to sea from the front of the villa, we were very pleased that we were able to use the boat which added to our experience. Ana and her family were lovely and extremely kind and helpful. They provided home made cake and a parting gift, it certainly is luxury and we would love to come back to the villa and especially Croatia. We would all recommend it. What an amazing holiday!

We recently stayed at Villa Fortuna and it was certainly up there with one of the best holidays we have ever had! The villa itself is perfect with amazing views out to sea that we miss already. Perfect... in every way

Perfect Villa ... sophisticated contemporary decor, immaculately maintained with a wonderful pool. Perfect Location...tranquil with stunning views and super access to the azure blue ocean and nearby places of interest for eating and drinking. Hoher Komfort mit traumhaftem Blick aufs Meer

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche in diesem sehr gut und umfangreich und modern ausgestatteten Haus! Schon die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war sehr vertrauensvoll und bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir ganz herzlich empfangen. So war der Kühlschrank mit Getränken gefüllt und frisches Obst stand bereit. Morgens kommt immer ein Bäcker vorbeigefahren, bei dem man sich lecker mit frischem Brot oder süßen Teilchen für den Tag eindecken kann. Die Ausstattung des Hauses lässt keine Wünsche offen. So standen im Hobbyraum Laufband, Tischtennisplatte, Kicker, etc. zur Verfügung, Wohnzimmer und die Schlafzimmer waren alle mit Klimaanlage und SAT-TV ausgestattet und auch vier neuwertige Mountainbikes konnten für Ausflüge jederzeit genutzt werden. Das kristallklare Wasser (mit eigenen Liegen an der Badeplattform) ist mit ein paar Schritten direkt unterhalb des Hauses zu erreichen. Auch stand uns ein gemauerte Grill jederzeit zur Verfügung. Ana und Ihre Eltern waren bei Fragen immer irgendwie erreichbar, selbst wenn sie unter der Woche nicht im Nachbarhaus verweilten (kurzfristige Reaktion auf Mail oder Handy). In die größeren Orte wie Trogir oder auch Split ist man mit dem Auto relativ schnell. Der Pool war für ein kurzes Abkühlen vor allem bei den Kindern immer sehr beliebt. Wir können das Feriendomizil mit dem herrlichen Blick von der Terasse nur empfehlen. Liebe Ana, Dir und Deiner Familie vielen Dank nochmals für die herzliche Betreuung.

Excellent property with amazing views and superb location and facilities

The newly completed villa was of top quality throughout and beautifully designed to maximise the enjoyment of the amazing view out over the bay…..you just could not tire of this view and the sunsets were amazing and not to be missed…….we made sure we were back each day to soak them up. The private pool was lovely and swimming in the sea from the private deck area was fabulous….a ladder for those that needed it or just jumping off for the others….and the snorkelling….well there were so many different kinds of fish and even small octopus. The local restaurants were of top quality (and great value) and featured lots of local produce especially the seafood and there was lots to see and do in the nearby areas…ancient sites, unspoilt rugged walks, numerous islands to explore, cycle paths (pretty hilly !) and boat hire so you won’t be short of activities…or you could just relax by the pool with a book and enjoy the heat ! To top it all off our hosts were the most lovely people and made us exceptionally welcome…they were so friendly and had thought of everything (the complimentary fruit bowl was delicious) …we will most definitely be back.

Fantastic Villa Fortuna Maris

The property exceeded all of our expectations, Quality finish and also furnishing. Everything we could have asked for was there and available and was spotlessly clean. Ana met us as we arrived in the local village and took as to the property and showed us around and how everything worked and was available as a contact throughout our stay. The owners (who live next door) were really friendly and made kind gifts of fresh fruit and ham and even went out of their way to see us on the day we came home to wish us all a safe journey (7am). The property has plenty of space and for our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers this was ideal With the private pool, games room, and cycles there was always plenty for everyone to do and the 2 minute walk to a dedicated deck area for the sea was brilliant. The local village is within 15 mins walk (or quicker bike ride), easy to manage day or night and is well serviced with local shop, restaurants and bar. Ate in each of the restaurants while we stayed here and would recommend all of them and they cater for all tastes. Only about 30 min drive from Split airport and within an hour of Split and also the National Park. Brilliant, and Thanks to Ana and her family for being welcoming and helpful throughout.

Fantastic accommodation and exceptional service. Highly recommended.

Although the pictures are good, they still don't do the villa justice! Spacious, recently renovated and with great views, the property easily accommodates 7+ people and is maintained to an exceptionally high standard. A dip or lounge by the sea (in an dedicated area) is only 30 seconds walk away. The water was clear and clean and snorkeling with the fish was a memorable experience. The pool, games room and four supplied bikes ensured that we had everything we needed. The local shop and several restaurants are a few minutes drive / ride with other facilities just 15 minutes away in the lovely town of Rogoznica. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and hospitable and willing to accommodate our every need. We all agreed that of all the villas we have stayed in Fortuna Maris is without doubt the best! We very much look forward to returning again in the near future.

So Fantastic !

We have loved our first stay in Croatia and particularly staying in this beautiful house, brand new, decorated with a lot of attention, and fully equipped. The location is great, in a nice authentic croatian village (with all commodities available), the view is like a postcard ! It is very close from Rogoznica which is more touristic and where we found some places to rent a boat (a must) and only 20' from Split's Airport. Finally I also believe that we have all liked this stay because of the kindness of the owners who live in the same village. They were so nice (and very discreet) with us that we will definitely recommend (we already start actually ) to stay in their house if you come to Croatia.
