Suberb family holiday

House was great. Pool perfect. Games room enjoyed by all. Gardens lovely. Quiet location but within 15min walk of bakery and easy to drive to Honfleur and Deauville.

The property is in a beautiful location, very quiet and benefits from a swimming pool that the children enjoyed every day. The photographs on the website could do with updating and the description could be improved to make it clear that accommodation is split between 2 buildings approximately 60m apart. The property would benefit from a good deep clean and some basic maintenance. Other reviews have mentioned several trip hazards. Our group comprised 6 adults and 3 young children. We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday but some minor improvements would be of benefit.

Kids loved Peter Rabbit House

Lovely house in lovely location. Peaceful location with lovely views of the countryside. Nice pool. Only criticisms was; there were trip hazards throughout downstairs difficult for toddlers. 2-3cm ledges in the rooms and pool area which were difficult to see as floor tiling was same colour. Settee and armchair well past it’s sell by date. Kitchen tiny for the amount of people able to stay. Bathroom sink tap in kitchen needs attention water sprays everywhere when turned on.

Great family property

The property is situated in a delightful area of Calvados with extensive grounds and two separate buildings. It was ideal for a large mixed-age family group with small indoor pool and snooker/pool room etc. Only drawback was very small kitchen which would be a problem if weather was bad. (We barbecued outside every day.) I understand plans are to remodel downstairs to provide a larger kitchen in the future. Our host was very diligent and helpful. We would return.

The house and location is absolutely beautiful. Amber welcomed us and was really friendly and helpful. Christopher, the owner, was most polite and again couldn't do enough for us and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Would most definitely consider going back again. Thankyou both Christopher and Amber.

Very nice location

Overall our stay was really good, the pool, the sauna ant the pool room were really nice. We stayed with 10 people (also kids and dogs) and 10 is maybe a little too much, especially when you want to cook. The kitchen is not really suited for that amount of people. But overall we had a vert pleasant stay.

Excellent location and host

Really great stay. Love the land privacy and the two houses for use. A heated indoor pool was a godsend in October, and used a lot Pool table small gym and sauna The host Christophe is a great person really helpful and communicative. Finally the village of Cormeilles is 8 minutes away and has everything we needed boulangerie fish and meet stores, weekly markets, cafes and restaurants. A real bonus

A wonderful stay at a wonderful location. This cottage has everything you could need and is surrounded by idyllic landscape. My boy ( chocolate Labrador) loved exploring the surroundings and was in heaven! The cottage is beautifully presented and the pool exquisite! The beds are comfortable and the furnishings are lovely. Without a doubt I will be back xx

Nice and relaxing place for a holiday

We liked the villa and it’s surroundings rural area, safe and quiet. The gym needs improvements The kids had fun between swimming, playing outsides and feeding the horses next door. It was nice going for a walk everyday There is a bakery at a walking distance and Local shops about 5 mins drive. All this for 3 hours drive from Calais We had issues with the internet on day one but the Owner was very good in trying to fix it he kindly came twice from far to check it. English channels on tv will be good or a smart TV I recommend. Thanks

What a wonderful house - the pool was just right to cool off after a long motorbike ride in 30+ temperatures. The house is very well stocked and the rooms spacious and the house is very clean thanks Gisele. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again in the future

Un super séjour à la campagne

Nous avons loué ce sublime ensemble de deux maisons avec des collègues pour un séminaire d'entreprise.Tout c'est très bien passé. Nous avons été très heureux de profiter de ces belles maisons, très proches et bien aménagées. La piscine est un vrai plus. La communication était au top.Je conseille vivement !

Super week-end cocooning en famille

Nous avons eu la chance de passer un week-end dans un nid douillet au cœur de la tempête. Le gîte est très confortable et nous avons pu profiter de la piscine, du billard et du baby-foot avec enfants et petits-enfants. Un week-end idéal et ressourçant, une fabrique à souvenirs. Nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux aussi bien par Christophe, toujours disponible, que par son feu de cheminée. Un endroit où venir et revenir.

Superbe week-end

Nous avons passé un superbe moment entre amis. Le seul petit bémol c’est que le chauffage a été allumé peu de temps avant notre arrivée et la maison ainsi que la dépendance ont mis un temps fou à être chauffés. Nous avons eut un peu froid mais il faisait particulièrement froid dehors . Sinon tout était parfait merci .

Le rêve en famille

Une maison très bien équipée, décorée avec charme entourée de prairies très verdoyantes. Très proche du village et d’un super marché. Les activités offertes piscine, billard et baby foot ont fait la joie des petits et des grands.

Schöner Aufenthalt in einer tollen Umgebung

Alles in einem war es ein gelungener Urlaub in einer tollen Umgebung. Was nicht ganz ersichtlich bei der Buchung war, dass es sich um 2 Häuser handelt. Was aber bei uns ganz gut gepasst hat. Die Einrichtung war modern und man konnte aber bei Regen ddn Tag dort sehr aktiv verbringen. Der I haber war sehr bemüht und hat alle Vorschläge gut angenommen. Hat sich sehr um unser Wohlbefinden gekümmert.

Leuk oud huis, mooie omgeving maar kan schoner en wat meer vernieuwing in huis zou ik adviseren.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. Prachtige omgeving, grote tuin, alles was aanwezig in het huis, Het huis was alleen niet echt schoon en verouderd veel spinnenraggen, in de hoeken veel stof, alles plakte een beetje en de vloer in de keuken is aan vervanging toe. Ruikt muf binnen. Prima bedden overigens. Zwembad super leuk, maar heb mijn teen aan het putje opengehaald en dat was pijnlijk. Trapleuning zit niet vast, beetje gevaarlijk wel. Goed om te weten: er zijn 4 slaapplaatsen in het bijgebouw op zo n 100 meter afstand.
