We all loved this house! Extremely well equipped a real home from home. Spotlessly clean and well kept. Excellent location for all of the Gower. Great walks right on the doorstep. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
We had an excellent long weekend away in this well equipped holiday home. The weather was perfect so we spent most of the time walking the spectacular cliffs and beautiful beaches. Garden has comfortable seating and a sunshade… ideal for enjoying a well earned G n T before heading out for dinner.
The property was perfect for us, clean, nice garden, large kitchen-diner and in a lovely village… enjoyed seeing the cattle walking the streets. A couple of good cafes and a lovely cliff walk are nearby. Based on our experience, we would recommend it.
Spent 4 days here celebrating my sons 21st birthday. The accommodation is spacious, was immaculate and had everything we needed. Stunning views and walks just a few mins away from the property. There are some lovely local businesses in close proximity, cafe, pub and great little pizza place! Would totally recommend and would return without a doubt as my son is at Swansea Uni.. short drive away. Thank you
Really lovely house in a friendly community, close to the coast. Nice local walks. Shops & pub close by. House & garden were well maintained & very comfortable. We had a great week.
Lovely, comfortable, well equipped family home in a quiet residential street. Perfectly situated for local beaches and cliff walks. A few cafes and a good shop a 3 minute stroll away, and the Southgate club 5 minutes in the other direction. Very handy for the famous Pennard Golf Club too - "the Links in the Sky". Both Trudie the owner and Gaynor the caretaker were very responsive and helpful. A perfect stay!!
Hi, my name is Trudie and I was brought up in Murton near Bishopston, Gower. I love this place and have fantastic memories of Sunday afternoon picnics on Horton beach. scrambling over rocks in Foxhole and eating ice cream on Caswel Bay. You can't beat The Gower for diversity and I am sure you will love it too. I now live in Aberdeenshire and am dreaming of one day retiring to this little part of Wales. I am a designer and run a home furnishing company in my day to day life
Why they chose this property
The house is in a unique location. I love walks along the cliffs to Three cliffs bay and beyond. Exploring Bishopston Valley and the fantastic sandy beaches. You can walk all the way to Oxwich bay at low tide and explore caves used by smuglers along the cliffs
