Excellent value villa with communal pool, 5minute beach & golf

Spacious air conditioned/heated villa with communal swimming pool, located centrally in the quite but sophisticated town of Los Alcazares. The villa is a 5 minute walk to restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets, 50 minutes drive from Alicante airport, and 30 minutes from Corvera International airport. The nearest beach is 1.5 Kilometres away and there are 2 golf courses within a ten minute drive.
There are regular bus services to all the local towns and villages from Los Alcazares.
The villa is comfortably fitted and furnished throughout. and can accommodate 4 persons comfortably, a convertable couch in the living room could fit a child as an extra fifth person. Both the living room and bedrooms are air conditioned.
There are two terraces one an the ground floor and one on the second floor ,there is also a large roof solarium. Access from street level is via a gated and locked driveway. Ground Floor: Spacious living room/dining area superbly furnished and including 32 inch flat screen TV with full satellite and DVD player. Fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, cooker, 4 ring hob, washing machine, microwave etc. Bathroom with shower and large under stairs storage area. Large furnished terrace fully tiled with BBQ. Second floor: Master bedroom with large double bed, fitted wardrobes and dressing table. Twin bedroom also with fitted wardrobes. Both bedrooms have direct access to a sun terrace furnished with table and chairs. Full bathroom with bath and over bath shower.
Third Floor. Large roof terrace/solarium furnished with sun loungers. The shared pool is less than i minutes walk from the villa, it has an adults and kiddies section. 2 weeks notice of booking is required before guests arrival.

Excellent property in perfect location

Excellent property, very well appointed kitchen, clean and bright throughout with plenty of outdoor living space - spacious terrace, balcony and large solarium. Great instant communication with the owner Brenda who is extremely helpful. Perfect location, in a quiet residential street and literally five minutes walk from four major supermarkets. Fifteen/twenty minute walk from the main square with lots of cafes and restaurants and the main promenade which runs along the beach. No need for a car. Bike hire also very easy to book and ideal for exploring Los Alcazares. My husband and I had a wonderful holiday and definitely hope to return here.

4 weeks home from home

Property is in a great location, walking distance to bars and restaurants. Recommend WOK buffet and corner bar. The main 525 strip is fantastic for food and drink. Lovely community around it, spoke to several residents. Nearest point of Mar menor is around 20mins walk. Nearest 'real' sea is about 15 mins drive. La llana is lovely and a nice hidden away harbour with bars and restaurants. Roda golf is great course but cant walk there really. 4 main supermarkets in 5 mins walking. Home was clean although does need tlc but cant complain about price. Lots of outside spaces. Pool is fab, a few residents use it but never too many. Good communication with host. Would return.

Convenient and spacious house

Great location four supermarkets within easy walking distance so car not needed for shopping. Many local restaurants in ‘The Square’ also close by. Excellent sized property with probably the largest kitchen we have ever had in a rental. Communication with owner first class. Lots of nice touches like beach/ pool chairs.

Excellent holiday, great villa in an excellent location

An overall excellent experience, communication with the owner was first class and the information provided was very accurate. The villa is in a great location, peaceful and quiet, but only 5 minutes walk to pubs and bars. Only a 15 minute walk to the beach. The villa has everything to make it a home from home experience, very well equipped and very clean. We hope to return in the near future.

good clean villa

stayed in villa from August 9 to 19 2019.it is well equipped and very clean villa.A little smaller than I taught it would be.ideal for 4 people.it has fold down couch downstairs but not very comfortable .the pool is a communal one and is not attached to villa.its around the corner maybe 3 minute walk.its a lovely location but a car is very handy to get to shops and beach.outher than that we had a fantastic holiday and will definitely return to los alcazares.

Fabulous holiday

The villa was great and in a lovely quiet area. There was plenty of room for 4 adults plus our sons who came to stay for a long weekend. The location was ideal as There was an amazing Indian around the corner along with a chinese restaurant, a couple of shops and a bar. Aldi, Lidl and a consum were also nearby making it easy to pick up what we needed. The main plaza was only a few minutes walk away and the beach only about a 10/15 minute walk away. The communal pool was only around the corner and was very quiet especially the first week when quite often there were only the 4 of us there. It did get busier the 2nd week but was never over crowded and the families tended not to stay all day. The only negative from our stay was that there weren’t sun beds available that could be easily transported to the pool. This however didn’t spoil what was a great holiday in a lovely villa. I would definitely look to book here again and would recommend it to others.

Excellent property

We have previously stayed on the urbanization but this was the best house. It was clean and well located. All three terraces were well equipped with plenty of furniture. There are three supermarkets within 5 minutes walk. Within a couple of minutes walk is a Nepalese restaurant and a few doors away a small bar with friendly staff and good prices. The managing agent was very helpful with the check in and check out and very quick to respond to a problem with the kitchen light - they had it fixed with two hours. I happily recommend the proeprty.

Absolutely lovely villa one of the best we've stayed at a real home from home

Everything you need is within walking distance we hired bikes just around the corner from villa for €10 a day to visit mud baths also a good way to explore more of the area.recomend la sambra for kebabs and pizza by the arches portions are huge and inexpensive. Our thanks to Brenda the owner who was very helpful will definitely be back all in all a perfect holiday would definitely recommend it

Unhappy. Left in the lurch customer.

I must say I am very disappointed in which the way the owner Brenda has treated me and my family. I had enquired about the villa for our holiday next summer. Brenda called back very promptly the next day saying yes the dates we were looking for were available. I then called the her back to confirm to be told that she was going holiday until 6th Oct and didn't like transferring cash from a/c's while she was out the country, but not too worry she would contact me on her return and we could sort out the deposit then as I should take the booking as confirmed and because we had been talking about flights was also told yes go ahead and book them so I did. The 6th Oct came and went with no contact from the Brenda. I then text her with no reply. Next step on the 11th Oct was to send an other enquiry through this site asking the best for us to pay the deposit on her return from holiday and that we had booked our flights. Strangely enough I got a phone call that evening only to have the bombshell dropped on us! Seemingly the villa had been booked while the owner was on holiday through her secretary and as these people had paid their deposit the booking was theirs. I then reminded the Brenda Uthat it was her who had told us not to pay the deposit until she had returned from holiday!! When I suggested telling the other people that there had been a mix up as we had book it first I was spoken over and offered an apartment in the same area. It wasn't what we were looking for and it certainly wasn't what we had booked! We are now left in a situation where we have booked flights after taking the owner's word that we were booked up and now having to look for new accommodation. If this is way the way people run their businesses then I feel I need to pre warn potential visitors. To say I am very disappointed in the way we have been treated is an understatement. ****Please note I couldn't proceed without star or date which are not accurate******

Loved our stay.

We are a family of four and we had a great time here. The villa was clean, well maintained and well equipped with plenty of outdoor space. The welcome note, grapes and wine was a thoughtful touch. It felt like a home from home. It benefits from being close to the AP-7 but was surprisingly quiet. Within easy walking distance to the main plaza which has many restaurants. There are two supermarkets within easy walking distance and in high season a night market by the Lidl supermarket. If you like Indian food like us the Nepali Indiañ Restaurant just round the corner was very good for eating in or for a takeaway. Great size kitchen for self catering with a nice outside eating area at the front of the villa. Could have done with more than one chopping board though! The communal pool was clean and we'll looked after if a little souless. Good to cool down in but not being able to play games etc made it unexciting for our boys but the great beaches make up for it. Our boys reported good WiFi reception! Better than home (although we live in a village of less than 600 in rural Devon, so not much of a comparison!). We would recommend this villa.

Fabulous holiday in this wonderful villa!

My husband and I and our four children, have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Brenda's villa in Los Alcazares. The villa was even better than we expected and our children were calling it home within minutes of arrival. It was indeed a home away from home, everything we needed was provided in the villa and it was spotless. Graeme and Brenda were very helpful before our arrival and during our visit to the area. Local shops and restaurants are within walking distance and the beach and Plaza are approximately 12 minutes walk away and after an evening out in one of the wonderful restaurants (We ate out on several occasions and the two restaurants I would recommend our RUN and VENI), a taxi back to villa will cost around €4.00. (you can ring a taxi in advance and be picked up coming out of the Plaza). There is a fun fair every night during the months of July and August, and there are markets on every night beside the fair set up beside to Lidl). The pool is one minutes walk from the villa and is rarely busy. The local people and owners and visitors of the surrounding villas are very friendly and helpful and the area is very safe and children friendly. We had a fantastic holiday and have returned home totally refreshed and relaxed. the villa was absolutely lovely,everyone delighted

Hi Brenda, Just to say on behalf of my party a Big Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely villa it was everything as described and more, it was beautiful and very well equipped with all the utensils needed for self catering and the roof terrace wonderful and private Amazing. The area was peaceful and only a few minutes from the centre of town with plenty of excellent eating places ie. Rosalinds, The Penny Farthing, The Pasty Shack and loads of others and all good value and very good food. The beach was only 10minutes walk from the villa with great views over to La Manga and also plenty good watering holes all along the front. Places worth visiting included La Manga, Cartagena, Masaron & Murcia. Overall I can say it was an excellent 2 weeks accommodation, facilities, area and sunshine what more could anyone want. Almost forgot Graeme and the young lady who picked us up and dropped us off at the airport on our arrival and departure and for information given to us about local amenities, a big thank you to them. Great time

Hi Brenda, Just wanted to say thank you for our recent stay at your gorgeous property. Me and my husband Paul were both impressed by how lovely your house is and are quite jealous! Fantasctic well equiped spacious Villa

Myself, partner and 2 children aged 7 and 5 stayed in Brenda's beautiful property for 11 nights during the Summer holidays. We were greeted at the airport by Graeme who drove us to the villa (5 mins from the airport). We were blown away by the space and size of the villa as well as the fixtures and fittings, there was nothing we lacked for our holiday. We made great use of the outside space, the roof terrace was a lovely place to sit in the evening. We enjoyed the short walk to the supermarket which had everything we needed and slightly further to restaurants and bars. The walk to the beach was slightly longer and small legs did get tired but the beach was so clean and the water very safe for the children who's swimming came on a great deal. This was also assisted by daily visits to the pool close to the villa, we we mostly had the pool to ourselves which during school holidays was very much a luxury when on holiday. Thank you Brenda for the ease of booking the apartment and letting us stay in your beautiful villa. If we came again (which I hope we will!) I think we would consider car hire to enable us to explore further afield or try the local bus's. We had a fantastic holiday and my partner who has not self catered before was blown away by how much more relaxing he found our time away than on previous package holidays.

Relaxing holiday in a well maintained property.

It was a pleasure staying in such a well maintained and equipped house. The onsite agent was helpfull without being intrusive. The booking and payment system was easy with good communication from the owner. The town is just as the owner described and has just the sort of atmosphere we like with lots of nice restaurants and quiet bars.   We would not hesitate to rent this property again.

Home from home

This was the first time me and my husband had tried a self catering holiday so we were a little apprehensive prior to our arrival. We need not have worried. The care to detail and the service we had was five star. Brenda the owner had arranged everything through her agent Graham who was an absolute gem. He picked us up from the airport and took us the short trip into Los Alcazares and gave us a quick tour of the town and recommended places to eat etc. The villa itself was immaculate and well equipped. The memory mattress was amazing and we both slept well in this quiet little street. The wine, fruit and personal note from Brenda was a lovely touch. The villa was perfectly situated for us as it was within walking distance of all the central areas. We absolutely loved the area and did not even feel the need to hire a car, which was another first for us. I have to say that this was one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. We plan to go back very soon but would definitely stick to the spring or autumn as the temperatures then are perfect for us. The promenade is so amazing that we walked for miles very day. We will probably hire a car even for a few days next time to explore the surrounding areas. Looking forward to our return to Brenda's beautiful home from home.

A Great Place To Stay

Super villa and service

December is a great time to visit, it is still warm, lovely walks, beautiful restaurants El Patio and San Antonio and then back to your lovely villa to rest in when your legs are aching! Wonderful holiday

We have just returned from a lovely, relaxing holiday! The villa was perfect for us, and our 18 & 14 year old daughters had a great time too! We didn't use the fabulous roof terrace or bedroom terrace as it was so hot but the downstairs terrace was great for breakfast as sun was just coming round then great for a few refreshments before dinner as it was shaded. The finishings in the villa are beautiful - marble stairs, oak doors/wardrobes, comfortable bed in main bedroom, fluffy towels etc AND travelling good old Ryanair with 10kg each, we really appreciated the beach towels!! We went to the square a few evenings but also went to The Arches (left at bottom of road) as this was a bit closer although more English than the square! Brenda kept in touch with us and Graeme picked us up and dropped us off at airport - will definitely be back!!

Fabulous holiday!

We have just returned from a stay in this fabulous villa. The welcome note, wine and cherries (delicious - they don't taste like that at home!) were such a nice touch. You said the villia was our home from home and you were absolutely right, you also said the bed was comfy, TRUE, this is the first time that we have not been looking forward to getting home, just to get in our own bed! We have stayed in Los Alcazares many times, but this was, without doubt, our favourite accomodation. We made full use of the sun terrace on the roof, and the cushions on the sun loungers were great - usually have to make do with hard plastic! The kitchen had everything (and more) than anyone could wish for, and was perfect for preparing a light lunch to eat on the terrace. Los Alcazares is a lovely town, with far more Spanish than Brits (which is what we love) and the Square is a fabulous, vibrant, place to go in the evening, with many restaurants and bars. The villa is is a great location, just a 10 minute walk from all of the action, but a lovely quiet place to go home to. We will return to Los Alcazares and hope we will be able to stay in your villa again. Finally, Graeme was great, pick up and return to airport was flawless! Thanks again Brenda. Melanie and Andy
