In Elba Island, right by the sea, this holiday house is located in a quiet and exclusive area, overlooking one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of the island. 20 meters far from the sea, direct access to the private area on the sea from the Mediterranean garden. This two-level villa is ideal for the holiday of large families with children, during summertime or wintertime. It is located on the North coast, it is exposed to the West, therefore it is perfectly sunny throughout the day, until sunset. The sea can be reached directly from the garden, the sandy beach is 2 minute walk away.
The property includes the main villa of great charm, with six bedrooms (for a total of 14 people) and four bathrooms, a large kitchen and a spacious living room; from the large panoramic terrace you reach a completely independent dependance with a bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom (for 3 people). In total, the property can accommodate up to 17 people in total, maximum comfort. The villa and the annex are rented jointly and are both included in the rent.
A spacious private area overlooking the sea, equipped with sun loungers, is for the exclusive use of guests; it is easily accessible from the garden. The large garden on several levels, terraced with Mediterranean shrubs, directly overlooks the sandy bay. Two canoes are available for guests.
The property is equipped with all services, including outdoor furniture and a barbecue to enjoy lunches and dinners outdoors on the large terrace, while admiring the splendid view of Capraia Island. There are two comfortable outdoor hot showers in environments that offer maximum privacy. Some areas have air conditioning. Highly reliable wi-fi is provided by stable ADSL cable connection. The private parking includes three parking spaces.

A great house in a great setting

We were 3 families, age 7 to 56, who stayed for one week in this house on Elba. The pictures do not make the house justice - the house and the setting is really really great. The layout of the house is very practical. Several bathrooms and furthermore two outdoor showers. The kitchen worked nicely for our group of ten people. The house and garden is cool and tasteful in a relaxed way that makes you feel comfortable. Beautiful sunsets from the terrace and lots of outdoors space with sofas and sunchairs. The most outstanding feature is the little path/stairs to the sea directly from the house. Although you have to pass a few meters of stones and rocks to get to the sandy seabed, we preferred this to the two otherwise excellent public beaches within 5 min. walking distance. You also have two kayaks at your disposal. Within 1 km there was a good bakery, ice-cream bar and several beach restaurants. All in all we really enjoyed the days in the house, the sea (snorkeling, bathing, kayaking, inspiring nature and places to explore and lots of relaxing). Gioia is very helpful and caring - she wants you to have the best possible holiday, and we did!!

A truly unique house

We were looking for the perfect mediterranean villa right on the sea and we found it here. The house is very special, full of style and charm with wonderful proportions and an unbeatable view. Gioia our host went out of her way to make us feel truly welcome in her home and gave us lots of really helpful information about Elba including the best restaurants (which she kindly booked for us), beaches and places to visit. The magnificent terrace where we could hang out, eat and soak up the view was fantastic, the rooms inside were large bright and very well furnished and beautifully decorated in a simple modern mediterranean style with some very fine retro furniture. The house is very well equipped with everything you need for relaxing and entertaining. Outside the owners have made the most of the sloping gardens, creating a series of terraces beautifully stocked with mediterranean plants with a path leading down directly to the sea. Several seating areas and a table tennis arena all overlook the beautiful bay with its turquoise water and sandy beach, an absolute joy for our three kids. There is a very special little spot to sit right on the water and you feel very lucky indeed to be staying in one of the best located houses on the island. Spectacular villa in perfect location

The property is really wonderful and unique - not many houses have direct, private sea access in amazing clear water (think Sardegna) and incredible views from some elevation. We really enjoyed being able to hop in the water from our private deck and then walk - as the sea is very shallow - to the beach ~30 meters away (you can also just walk 3 min down the hill directly to the public beach area). We also liked that the town/beach of Procchio is just a 5-10 min walk down the hill in the other direction if you're in need of a bigger, more equipped beach and don't want to drive. There are also some great restaurants/bakeries/etc in town. The house itself was super clean and very well equipped with good internet, great kitchen/bbq and tons of sleeping space. The "dependance" apartment was also great for a couple/small family seeking some added privacy - it has just been redone and is very comfortable. The views really are amazing and the pictures don't do it justice. Finally, Gioia is an excellent host - she was super responsive from booking and throughout our entire stay. We had almost no issues but anything that came up she dealt with immediately. Irina cleans the house and was also available. Stunning views + easy access to swimming + lots of space for large groups + walk to town + great host = this place.

Haus am Meer

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgerüstet, es fehlt an nichts. Die Nähe zu Procchio ideal für den Einkauf - obwohl der Fisch - und Gemüsemarkt im September nur noch am Samstag stattfindet! Einige von uns benützten den öffentlichen Bus für ihre Wanderungen, Bushaltestelle ein paar Minuten vom Haus entfernt. Die Zimmer auf der linken Seite hatten Lärmstörungen von den Nachbarn , Musik und Unterhaltungen bis spät in die Nacht / Morgen 03h - wir erlaubten uns dann am 2. Tag sie zu bitten, wenigstens die Musik leise oder ganz abzustellen. Der Einstieg ins Meer ist etwas schwierig - wir hatten einen kleinen Unfall als das Meer etwas unruhiger war. Sollte bei der Beschreibung bemerkt werden. Danke Gioia

Spectacular house with breathtaking view

We can 100% recommend Villa Conchiglia as a great place for family vacation. We spent there one week with the whole family from age 14 to 78 years. This place meets all different needs of all generations such as outdoor ping pong, canoeing, snorkelling or just relaxing at one of the terraces or at the beach at walking distance. The house is well equipped and tastefully furbished in mediterranean style. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals for a group including dishwasher and two large fridges. We really enjoyed our dinners with barbecue watching the breathtaking sunset over the sea. Gioia is a very charming and caring person who gives a lot of recommendations for activities or restaurants. Thank you Gioia for your great hospitality!

Un séjour de rêve dans un lieu sublime

Tout s’est passé à merveille. L’accueil est très chaleureux, la maison très bien conçue, confortable et agréable. Les terrasses sont magnifiques et la vue somptueuse. Nous avons eu tous les soirs des couchers de soleil magnifiques. L’emplacement de la maison est idéal, cette partie de l’île est particulièrement belle. Il y a beaucoup de restaurants à proximité excellents . On peut s’y rendre à pied ce qui est agréable. Un grand merci à Gioia pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. Veronique et ses amis

A beautiful for vacation house for families with children

We had a great experience since both the place and the service were amazing. The landlord has been always available supporting us from the very beginning of the booking process, advising on several activities to do to secure a great staying. She was there when we arrived welcoming us and securing a light dinner for us and the children. We met again the day after our arrival where she gave us a lot of tips on restaurants and beaches to visits and things to do. She has been always available when we had questions or there when we need local support. There are many services you can access. We found that the most valuable ones were the chef at home or have someone who can go out for groceries. The house is location is astonishing. Sometime, early in the morning or very late in the afternoon, looking at the seagulls flying close to the hills towards the sunset, I just held my breath to capture the beauty of the moments. The house building is good, many sleeping rooms (perfect for families with children or close friends) and many bathrooms. The kitchen is full furbished (including a dishwasher). The garden is very well maintained and there are plenty of sun-chairs. However the very peculiar thing of this house is the own access to the sea very comfortable and sheltering. I would definitely recommend this house to families with children or groups of close friends.

Traumhaus an wunderschöner Lage

Wir (8 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder) haben in der wunderschönen Villa La Conchiglia zwei super Wochen verbringen dürfen und können das Haus jederzeit empfehlen. Die Eigentümerin Gioia ist sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr warm empfangen. Sie ist auch mit Tipps für Ausflüge oder Restaurants, etc. gerne behilflich. Das geräumige Haus bietet Platz auch für eine grosse Familie und ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und top eingerichtet. Die grosse Terrasse bietet einen traumhaften Ausblick aufs Meer und die schöne Umgebung. Der kleine Liegeplatz direkt am Meer mit den beiden praktischen Kanus ist über ein paar Stufen erreichbar. Ein sehr schöner Sandstrand ist zudem in nur zwei Gehminuten erreichbar.

Perfekte Villa mit eigenem Zugang zum Meer. Toll für Familien/Gruppen. Panoramaterrasse!

Wir waren im Juli mit drei Familien in der wunderschönen Villa. 3 Terrassen mit Panoramablick, Eigener Zugang zum Meer, wo man mit 2 Kanus oder Luftmatratzen ins Wasser kann. Die Austattung des Hauses ist beeindruckend. Man fühlt sich tatsächlich wie im Haus von Freunden. Schönste Ecke auf Elba und dann kann man auch noch zu Fuß (10 Min.) am Strand in Procchio Essen gehen. Wir haben aber auch für 11 Personen den Aussen-Gasgrill oder das Großküchengeschirr genutzt. Die Vermieterin gibt tolle Tipps. Ein Traumurlaub

Villa Conchiglia is Magical

Villa Conchiglia is a beautiful, warm and comfortable family home perched above the sea. The beds, linens, bathrooms, outdoor furnishings, fully-stocked kitchen, internet, and many comfortable seating areas are all of highest quality. The property features private parking, outdoor ping pong and, best of all, steps down to the gorgeous cove for a swim or kayak. Easiest access by foot to and from town and beaches. Immediately responsive owners. Excellent housekeeping services are an available option. We loved every minute.

Wonderful villa

Do book this superb villa if you can - best location on Elba and you won't want to move! We visited Marciana Marina 10 mins away, went up the mountain on fun cable cars and the rest of the time we were near the house. Kayaks, amazing views, private access to clear waters sea, excellent facilities at this 30 years' family owned house. Don't hesitate! Gioia is very friendly and helpful and can't do enough for you.

Einzigartig !!

Tatsächlich träumen wir noch von dieser einzigartigen Traumvilla "La Conchiglia". Als Grossfamilie machten wir mit Kindern und Enkeln 12 Tage Meerferien in diesem tollen Haus. Bei dieser geschmackvolle Einrichtung und dem gepflegten Garten fühlt man sich nicht in einem Ferienhaus, sondern in einem Haus von Freunden. So wurden wir von der Besitzerin auch empfangen und betreut. Tischtennis, die beiden Kanus und der nahe Sandstrand machen den Ferienort für die Kinder perfekt. Wir können diese Villa jederzeit empfehlen und danken der Besitzerin, dass sie ihr wunderschönes Haus uns für diese Ferienzeit vermietet hat. Den einzigartigen Ausblick von der Terrasse mit dem Blick auf das Meer werden wir vermissen. Robert und Familie

traumhaus mit direktem zugang zum meer

la conchiglia ist eine wunderschöne villa mit viel persönlicher ambiance. alles sehr sauber und in bestem zustand. die grosse terrasse hat einen traumhaftem blick aufs meer, im gepflegten garten mit den verschiedenen lauschigen plätzchen, kann man sich zurückziehen. der kleine liegeplatz am meer ist mit liegestühlen ausgestattet und es stehen auch 2 paddle kanus zur verfügung. der nahgelegene sandstrand, besonders für kleinkinder, ist ideal erreichbar. die besitzerin ist eine äusserst charmante italienerin und tut alles, einem den aufenthalt so komfortabel wie möglich zu machen. auf der terrasse hat es einen grossen grill und die neue küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit 2 grossen frigos. wir haben unseren 2-wöchigen aufenthalt von a-z genossen und können die villa conchiglia jederzeit empfehlen. sandra und dieter aus der schweiz

Vacanza fantastica!

Abbiamo soggiornato a Villa Conchiglia una settimana a Luglio 2015, trascorrendo una vacanza fantastica! Eravamo due famiglie con in totale 5 bambini, dall' uno agli 8 anni. La villa e' facilmente raggiungibile in macchina e nota molto positiva dispone di un parcheggio interno con due posti auto. La villa e' arredata con molto gusto, molto spaziosa tanto che, anche in due famiglie, ognuno ha avuto la possibilita' di ritagliarsi i propri spazi per rilassarsi, sia all'interno che nello splendido giardino e terrazzo panoramico. La posizione panoramica, ma al contempo con accesso diretto alla spiaggia, rendono la villa ideale per famiglie con bambini piccoli. La spiaggia sabbiosa adiacente si raggiunge facilmente scendendo a mare dal giardino. Noi portavamo i teli in spiaggia con la canoa gentilmente messa a disposizione dalla signora Gioia mentre i bambini si divertivano ad arrivarci a nuoto o attraverso gli scogli. La spiaggia e' atrezzato con ombrelloni e lettini, e ce' anche un carinissimo bar che prepara ottimi pranzi. La cosa che i bambini hanno apprezzato di piu' e' stato il noleggio del pedalo' per andare a fare i tuffi e il bagno al largo e esplorare le atre spiagge vicine! La casa dispone di due docce calde esterne molto curate e soprattutto molto comode al rientro dalla spiaggia. Le camere sono luminose e spaziose, forse la cucina e' leggermente sotto dimensionata ma e' molto ben atrezzata, con due frigoriferi e molto spazio per la dispensa. La proprietaria e le sue figlie sono gentilissime, al nostro arrivo, dopo un viaggio di oltre 13 ore, ci hanno fatto trovare frutta fresca, focaccia e formaggio tipico! Villa Conchiglia e' ideale sia per famiglie con bambini piccoli che per coppie di amici! Giudizio ottimo, torneremo sicuramente! Delia, Øyvind, Caroline e Jesper :)

Traumhafte Villa für Individualisten

Wir haben die Villa im Juli/August 2015 mit 3 Familien und 5 Kindern gemietet. Die Vermieterin Frau Grandi ist absolut seriös und zuverlässig und immer darum bemüht, alle Wünsche ihrer Gäste zu erfüllen. Sie hat zum Beispiel extra für uns eine Gasgrill angeschafft, weil wir am Telefon nach einer Grillmöglichkeit gefragt haben, oder eine Kaffeemaschine mit Kapseln für Kaffee nach deutscher Machart. Die Villa und insbesondere die riesige Terrasse mit Meerblick sind einfach ein Traum. Das Gebäude bietet auf 2 Ebenen super viel Platz, auch wenn man sich einmal ein wenig von den Anderen separieren möchte. Wunderschön ist auch der Garten, der neben der Terrasse viele weitere schöne Bereiche zum Relaxen bietet. Die Ausstattung der Villa ist gut und geschmackvoll, allerdings ist alles Italien-typisch etwas mit "Patina" versehen. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist zudem die Küche, aber ich vermute dass Frau Grandi hier als nächstes nachbessern wird. Ansonsten bietet die Küche mit vielen große Töpfen aber alles, was man zu Kochern für eine große Familie benötigt. Toll ist natürlich auch der eigene Zugang zu Meer, das man über einen circa 30-stufigen Abgang erreicht. Unten erwartet einen dann ein kleines Plateau mit drei Liegestühlen und einem allerdings steinigen Einstieg ins Wasser. Also unbedingt Badesandalen mitbringen! Das Meer ist Elba-typisch traumhaft schön und sehr klar, außer wenn der Wind über Nacht Algen und Sonstiges in die Bucht getrieben hat. Und Vorsicht: Auf Elba gibt es recht viele Feuerquallen. In 2015 waren es zwar laut Auskunft der Einheimischen sehr wenige, trotzdem wurden unsere beiden jüngsten Mädchen "gestochen". Nach dem Schreck und der Behandlung mit Rasierschaum ist dann aber alles sehr glimpflich verlaufen. Fazit: Super nette und zuvorkommende Vermieterin, traumhafte Villa mit einigen Abstrichen in Sachen Komfort, zauberhaftes Elba mit allem, was die gestresste deutsche Seele braucht. Und wer nicht bei jeder Kleinigkeit aus der Haut fährt, eine wunderbare Urlaubslocation, die man natürlich nicht zum Nulltariv bekommt :-) Viel Spaß auf Elba!

Beautiful villa direcrtly to the sea

Superb location with a panoramic view over the sea. On walking distance to the village. Large terasses, suited for dining with 12 persons outside. Quit location. Some good bedrooms for adults, some more suitable for kids. Very good showers inside and outside witrh cold and warm water.

Wunderschönes Haus direkt am Meer

3 Familien - mit 6 Kinder und 6 Erwachsene - die Villa passte perfekt für jede Familie 2 Schlafzimmer mit Bad um sich "zurückzuziehen" und ein grosser Wohnraum für alle, zum essen, faulenzen, relaxen...: Die 2 warmen!! Aussenduschen für nach dem Baden am direkten Meer sind auch bei 12 Personen ausreichend gewesen. Die Ausstattung ist geschmackvoll (IKEA lässt grüssen :-) mit individuellen Elementen - man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Küche ist im Verhältnis zum Haus etwas eng - punktet jedoch wieder mit der vollständigen Ausstattung z.B. auch grosse Töpfe, Pfannen, Kaffeemaschine, Spülmaschine.... Ein weiterer Glanzpunkt ist der Aussenbereich mit herrlichen Zitronenbäumen, Terrassen auf zwei Ebenen mit einem wunderschönen Meerblick. Der grosse Tisch auf der Terrasse ist für bis zu 16 Personen ausreichend. Ganz klasse war das "Kajak" mit dem wir in der Buch wunderbar umher fahren konnten. Der Weg zum direkten Sandstrand ist über die Felsen sehr kurz (2 Minuten) und diese Bucht ist sehr schön zum baden. Wir haben den Urlaub in diesem Haus sehr genossen und freuen uns schon heute auf ein wiedersehen.

Herrliche Unterkunft an wunderschöner Lage!

Wir hatten zu siebt eine tolle Woche in dieser nahezu perfekten Villa. Schlafräume, Bäder, Wohnräume: alles in ausreichender Zahl und guter Grösse vorhanden. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt und es ist alles vorhanden. Die Küche ist etwas klein/eng und durchlebt, genügt aber völlig! Die Aussenbereiche sind herrlich angelegt: immer mit Bezug zum Meer, genügend Platz, SItz- und Liegegelegenheiten und das auf 2 Ebenen. Direkter Meerzugang, der Einstieg ins Meer ist aber etwas schwierig, da felsig. Die Hausbesitzerin ist eine aussergewöhnlich nette und hilfsbereite Frau. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und jede Minute geniossen.

Tolle Villa- tolle Lage! Traumurlaub!

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub mit kleinen Kindern in der Villa Conchiglia verbracht. Die Lage und die Ausstattung des Hauses sind wirklich toll. Das Meer ist wunderschön und die Lage mit direktem Meerzugang, aber auch die kurze Entfernung zum Sandstrand einzigartig. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Schlafzimmer und Bäder alle gut ausgestattet und alle mit direkten Zugang in den Garten. Auch ist das Haus in Bezug auf Geschirr und die Grösse des Tisches auf eine grössere Anzahl an Gästen ausgerichtet, was wir auch sehr genossen haben. Der Garten-, bzw. Terrassenbereich ist sehr gepflegt und bietet schöne Plätze zur Entspannung. Das Einzige das nicht ganz dem Rest der Villa entspricht, ist die Küche, diese ist eher eng und in die Jahre gekommen, aber das ist auch wirklich das einzige Manko!
