You will be surrounded by orange, peach and lemon trees, in a finca of 2500m2 (farm), with an indoor pool available all year round, the water is between 28º and 30ºC all year and illuminated at night.

We didnt stay we left after 10 minutes dirty worn out not private pool

We had to go and book a hotel. The carpet was worn out the sunbed pads were worn out the toilet lid was stained and the sheets mismatched. We left after 10 minutes. We tried to get vrbo who ignored our emails. We found a last minute last hotel room at 6pm at night and spent our holiday in a hotel as we couldnt even put our bags down on the floor. The owner doesnt speak English so we couldnt communicate either. We spent £785 at the hotel but this is not suitable for renting. There was also nothing open any where near to buy lunch food anything. The road down wasnt suitable and the pool was only private to the owner not to us who wanted a private pool. The pool is by the owners property downstairs. This property is not suitable for renting and weve put in a complaint. Vrbo who i called !?!?!

A very peaceful finca

In a lovely location ideal for exploring the area. Fabulous views from very private sun terrace with all facilities you need. The sole use of the large indoor swimming pool was a real bonus. Maybe basic in some respects but we were very happy with everything and would love to return in the future.

Relaxing break

We stayed for 7 nights, great little place with all required amenities. Claude left us eggs from his hens and fresh peaches from his trees. Overall very enjoyable break, nice quiet area, we hope to visit again Thanks Claude

Paradise

Absolute tranquillity, large private terrace was the centre of our 4 weeks staying here. Longed on sunbeds reading all day. The pool was 28 c and our daily swim was very enjoyable. The Owners Claude and Michelline were very kind and often gave us fruit and vegetables from their orchard and and eggs from their chickens. The views from the terrace were wonderful, and everything we needed was in the cottage. Local shops available in Granadilla and Mercadona and Lidl approx 15 mins away in Isidora. We shall be returning next year!

Peaceful and relaxing

We spent a fantastic 3 weeks at the cottage. Claude and Micheline were wonderful hosts always on hand if you need anything, even though they live in the downstairs cottage they do not intrude. The rooftop patio is a lovely place to can the sun and eat you meals. The swimming pool is an added bonus and we used this everyday. A car is essential if you want to get around and see the island. We will definitely return.

Perfect hideaway for two

Great location, really secluded. Beautiful sunny roof terrace, got up to 42C in December when official temp. was 25! Indoor heated pool is fantastic. We will be returning.

Quiet and comfortable

The property is as described and reviewed by others. It’s a very quiet location yet most South Tenerife resorts and facilities are within a 30 minute drive. A car is really essential and there’s a remotely controlled gate for access. The indoor pool seemed to be around a perfect 29 degrees all the time. The large private roof terrace certainly catches the sun but is also exposed to the wind when that’s blowing. Overall it’s certainly an attractive option for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxed getaway.

Quiet and relaxing

We found it quite difficult to find as the Sat Nav said we were there but we just couldn’t find it.. number 16 if anyone else has this problem Once there it was everything we wanted A week away from everything No hustle or bustle Just peace and quiet I do agree with the other reviews we would of struggled without a car

Charming, quiet cottage

This apartment in a rural setting was a delight. We enjoy the quiet life and this was perfect for us. Only a short drive from the airport (car hire recommended), it is easily reached. Magnificent views down to the sea and across to Granadilla from the sun terrace. The pool was private and welcoming. In the kitchen there was a welcome addition of a free standing oven which we use a number of times. The owner lives on-site but was completely unobtrusive. We highly recommend a stay here.

Great and peaceful place

Peaceful location away from the main tourist sites yet still easy to get to and convenient for the restaurant and supermarket facilities in Granadilla. Claude was an excellent and unobtrusive host, living on the premises. We communicated in French. Fantastic views and privacy from the sun terrace and short walk to the private pool. We hired a car for our full stay and would recommend that anyone staying there should also hire a car (preferably a small one for parking and access). The property has everything a couple would need for a great stay, although it does lack an oven. Highly recommended.

Peaceful cottage in impressive setting

We have just spent a very enjoyable and relaxing week in this gîte, situated in impressive countryside away from, yet within easy reach of, the bustle of the southern coastal strip. The accommodation is well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and is perfect for two people. The sun terrace is huge and gives fine views to the sea and the mountains. Claude and Micheline are excellent hosts. They live on site and are very helpful and certainly not obtrusive! A car is essential really, although you can access the Tenerife bus routes from nearby Granadilla (3km). The TF1 motorway is only a 15 minute drive away. We were able to explore easily much of the island, including the spectacular Mount Teide. There is an excellent large supermarket in Granadilla (closed Sundays, although a nearby smaller one is open every day). There are local restaurants, but most were closed in early May when we visited! However, we found an excellent one on the road from San Isidro to Chimiche, the Mirador del Salto “El Cordero” , only 10 minutes’ drive away. The hotel next to the church in Granadilla has a restaurant open to non-residents. The Frontos vineyard (10 minutes from the gîte on the Granadilla-Chimiche road) is well worth a visit. Overall, this accommodation provides a lovely, relaxing opportunity and we would certainly recommend it.

Charming spot for an extended relaxing stay

This small rustic apartment provided us with everything we needed for our 5 week stay in Tenerife - the sun terrace has amazing panoramic views of the surrounding area and I used the pool every day - and is great value for money. Claude and Micheline are perfect hosts - always available to help when needed and they were very generous with both advice and produce from both hens and finca. Nearby Granadilla is a friendly non-touristy town and although we felt we needed a car there are good local taxi and bus services in the town. If you stay the 20 minute walk to Bar Francis is Los Balanquitos will reward you with a very friendly local welcome and delicious local food and wine.

Wie zu Hause bei Oma

Das Ferienhaus könnte noch gemütlicher sein, wenn es sauberer wäre. Aber das ist unsere individuelle Beobachtung. Ansonsten ist es ein ruhiger Ort weit weg von der Stadt. Der Besitzer war sehr nett und stand für alle Fragen zur Verfügung. Der Besitzer hat Katzen, Hühner und Enten. Diese Katzen haben uns mehrmals besucht. Hinweis: Das Wasser ist aufgrund von Kalk nicht trinkbar. Lidl und Aldi haben günstige 5L und 8L Wassergallonen.

Tout simplement génial. Claude est disponible pour nous parler de la région ,de son verger rempli d'agrumes et autres fruits exotiques et en plus avec une vraie maison canarienne que l'on a pu visiter. Sans parler des petits cadeaux devant notre porte (citron,orange , papaye,oeufs ...) Gite simple , propre où il ne manque rien La piscine et la cerise sur gâteau . Merci à Claude

Skøn ferie

Steder ligger dejligt med skøn udsigt. Skønt at bo oppe blandt de lokale Vi var der sidst februar og 2 uger i marts. Sidste uge bedst. Værts paret er meget søder havde sat frugt fra haven da vi kom og vi fik friske æg alle dage vi Var der.var der. Dejlig ferie. Kan godt tænke os at komme tilbage.. Inge og gunnar Danmark
