The proximity of the resorts of La Clusaz, Grand Bornand allows you to admire wonderful landscapes in both winter and summer. You can practice all sports slips.

Christmas escape for a complete change and experience alpine surroundings.

Compact and set in a tranquil area. Everything you need is here. Good internet. Thones a few minutes walk and a pleasant center , traditional , and minus tourist bustle. Close by are the high passes and beautiful ski villages. The chalet is in spacious grounds , ample parking . A great place to holiday without the usual hassle of the better known alpine honey pots.

Super stay, British family on February half term skiing break

We are a family from the UK with two young boys and stayed at this property for the February half term break. Through Google translate, the landlady was communicative and prompt in responding. The apartment was spotless and modern, and a lovely location. Superb heating and lovely hot water. On some mornings it snowed gently, on other days it was warm enough for non-skiers to hang out in the garden and enjoy the views. The location is situated in a lovely, quiet, green suburb of the Alpine town of Thones, small enough to be charming and with splendid views, but with all conveniences within a couple of minutes drive - unlike staying in many resorts. There is a fantastic collection of ski areas (alpine, nordic, touring) in the general area within 30-minutes drive away. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this clean, conveniently-located and modern chalet; it was just what we needed and we would recommend it to future tenants.

Peaceful retreat with stunning views

The chalet is very modern and clean. We loved the patio and peaceful garden to relax in after a day of walking in the Alps. The owner Mme Plan kept in touch with us throughout the booking process and was very pleasant and helpful on arrival. It is easy to walk into Thones, which has everything you need including a good market every Saturday.

Beautiful well equipped chalet in fabulous location

Kind and very helpful owner. She helped and supported me when my husband had to go to hospital as an emergency. It really helped to return to a beautiful chalet in between hospital visits Gorgeous views. Good location for exploring the Aravis area. Local dog walks from the door. Shops just down the road.

Fantastic chalet in peaceful mountain surroundings

We all enjoyed our stay in the very well-maintained chalets set in beautiful surroundings. The owner, Mme. Plan, was very helpful and quick to respond to our needs both during the booking stage and throughout ur stay. The chalets are immaculately clean and maintained to very high standards, where attention to detail made our stay very comfortable - e.g. the kitchen and the bathroom are equipped with modern and good-quality appliances. The spectacular views of the mountains can be enjoyed from the living-room and, on a sunny day, in the front 'patio'. The location is also ideal as supermarkets and the main town, Thones, are within walking distance. Annecy, the ski resorts and chateaus are a short drive away whereas other attractions such as Chamonix and Mont Blanc are also within easy reach. This is certainly one of the places we would like to return to in the future.

Semaine au ski à la Clisaz. Nous avons séjourné à Thones dans un petit chalet très confortable avec 2 chambres et tout ce qu’il faut pour passer une belle semaine de vacances à la montagne.

Chalet très bien equipé avec bonne literie et jolie espace de jardin. La buanderie est également très pratique (rangement + machine à laver) Propriétaire disponible et très réactif qui partage ses bons conseils pour lieux à visiter et commerces à tester. I had a very enjoyable stay in this neat vacation house with a large garden in a quiet neighbourhood set in the beautiful mountains near Thones. The house was fully equipped, clean and had a pleasant, cosy atmosphere. The landlady was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommended.
