Everything was great for my adult kids and I at the apartment. The kitchen was fully stocked, beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. Response time for minor problem was quick.A note of caution for anyone with mobility issues, this is not a good location to get into and out of town center or to the beach unless you have a car or take taxis.
An absolutely amazing apartment. Extremely well furnished and all the equipment you would have at home as well as loads of supplies. Would stay there again.

Nice apartment, noisy neighbours upstairs and lift broken down on arrival.
Apartment met expectations and great views. Unfortunately we had noisy neighbours upstairs and we could hear them from 6.30am every morning but appreciate this is one of the problems with staying in a multi floor apartment. The broken lift on arrival was a little annoying, The late check in at 6.00pm seemed a little extreme when check out was at 9.00am but appreciate the need for a deep clean due to coronavirus. Having said that the extractor in the kitchen was greasy and so must have been missed. Remote control in bedroom didn’t work but we weren’t bothered about watching TV so not an issue. Builders noise outside from 8.30am so not as peaceful as we had hoped but nice apartment and as regular visitors to St Ives, we love it here.
The apartment was everything we expected. The photographs online were true to life. In fact,the apartment was bigger than expected and truly sumptuous. Exceeded expectations.
We were three ladies on a ‘friends catch up’ break. I was lucky enough to have the master bedroom but there were no ‘bad’ rooms so we were all happy with a bathroom each!
The walk into town was easy and even though it was uphill coming back,it was not that difficult and we had the cosiness of the apartment to look forward to.
The views were spectacular,both on a good day and a wet and windy day that we had.
We cooked over three of our nights and the person in the kitchen still had the wonderful view so no one minded being in the kitchen!
I would recommend the apartment without hesitation.
This is a fabulous, well equipped, spacious, contemporary and modern apartment in a great location. The property is very well looked after and managed by Orange Roofs. Strongly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was immaculate and I would highly recommend 8 Salt to any of my friends and family.
The rooms are decorated beautifully, everything you could possibly need is provided and the views are stunning.
Amazing apartment would love to visit again.

Amazing property with amazing views
We just loved our stay at 8 Salt. 3 generations for an early Christmas celebration. The apartment was so well equipped it was just like making dinner at home. There was nothing missing. The quality & style of the place is superb. Sam from Orangeroofs was so helpful and made the whole process and stay so enjoyable. We just didn’t want to leave.

Superb - No 8 Salt!
Just returned from a wonderful week's stay at this apartment. Very stylish, modern
but comfortable. The open plan kitchen/dining area and lounge was great for all members of the family to get together and having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms
meant everyone had their own space. The apartment has everything you could wish for and we spent part of each day sitting out on the balcony, gazing at the wonderful view. It was really helpful to have 2 parking spaces too. Sam at Orange Roofs was really helpful with all my enquiries and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

This apartment has the wow factor from the moment you walk in. It is immaculate, and everything you could possibly need is in it! The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you would have at home and much more. The beds were so comfortable, and the fittings are extremely top quality.
The view was gorgeous from the lounge, kitchen, and master bedroom. a nice stroll into St Ives which took about 10 minutes, perfect spot for a perfect holiday!
We will definetly return very soon!

Perfect location - wonderful view of the Bay and Hayle towens - the apartment was spotlessly clean - very comfortable and had everything we wanted for the weekend - the purpose of our visit was a wedding reception at the harbour hotel so it was absolutely perfect 😊 The only criticism was the lack of bins to recycle bottles/ cardboard etc

Much Better than the Pics. Would stay there again. And again.
We originally had planned on going to Dublin for holiday, but my Dad has Alzheimer's, and was having a problem with the hustle bustle of big cities. This is a one-level, 3 bedroom, 3 bath apartment home, with beautiful views of the sea, and of the sunrise. Everything you could need for comfort is there, including a washer/dryer combo (one unit). We typically washed and air dried in the laundry room. They don't show the the other two rooms in the pics, but they are of a good size, and are very attractively decorated. The home looks to be professionally decorated, in a soft, modern style which I found appealing. There are also loads of walking trails near the property. My only recommendations are 1) get a new peeler (the one in the unit is dull) and 2) give better instructions on lowering the parking stick that prevents someone from parking in your space. Very minor comments, our stay was awesome and I would stay there again in a New York minute.

Modern, sparkling clean !
We could not fault the accommodation in any way - exactly as described if not better ! We had a lovely restful stay with no cooking ! plenty of good restaurants fairly close by. The welcome pack of goodies was a lovely thought and appreciated. The town and especially the Harbour are a fair walk away with some quite steep steps/ slopes to negotiate but remember this is typical in Cornish Resorts ! All in all a lovely clean, modern, large, peaceful apartment in a good location as a base for exploring Cornwall .
