Relaxing spot

A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk.

Relaxation

A very relaxing holiday in this comfortable accommodation with great lakeside views and a wide variety of bird life. There are 5 pubs in Barton, some with good food and ales only 15 minute walk away. Sunday lunch in the newly renovated George Inn was particularly tasty and good value. Walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds , a trip to Cleethorpes 30 minutes drive away, and a quick bus caught just down the road took us to Hull in 30 minutes for a day round the old town and marina. Highly recommended with very friendly hosts and a breakfast cafe next door.

Very enjoyable stay

Location next to nature reserve is unusual but adds to the enjoyment. Owners are very hospitable and conscientious. Very good base for exploring the area. Would readily return for another stay, highly recommended.

amazing location

we arrived a to picturesque house and land and were shown to our cabin by Amanda. she was so lovely and friendly. the cabin/static caravan exceeded expectations by miles. it is beautifully finished with amazing views, comfy beds and everything you need away from home. the added bonus of the on site menagerie was amazing. the kids loved it so much. I cannot recommend this place enough, we wish we had booked a longerstay . far better than any hotel or b and b. 10 out of 10!!! xx

Caravan was clean and well equipped, enjoyed our stay immensely.

The caravan stands alone close to a lake so there's plenty of privacy. Ducks and geese welcome you every time the door is opened. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no problems recommending it.

Great Hosts for A Great Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay here and the hosts were so responsive and friendly and helpful. Watching the wildlife was an added treat and also visiting with all the resident pets and animals! Great animal lovers live here! Good places to eat in town and we enjoyed breakfast next door at the fish camp buffet. Sunset over the bridge can be fantastic! Highly recommend this rental!
