A spacious, private and rurally located villa on the outskirts of Gata de Gorgos, on the east coast of Spain.

The house is secure with remote-control electric front gates and security lighting.

In the main house there is a large master bedroom with super king bed, stunning mountain views and en suite bathroom (with bath and shower). The house also features a double room, a twin room and a family bathroom (with shower). A further large bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite bathroom (with shower) can be found across the terrace in a separate annexe building. All bedrooms have air conditioning units.

The lounge has 2 x sofas (1 x 3-seater sofa/ sofa-bed, 1 x 2-seater sofa), air conditioning, wood burning stove, 60” LED television with Sky+ HD and Sky Sports HD, DVD player, a selection of books. An additional seating area is located in the Naya with a large corner sofa.

There is a fully operational kitchen with dishwasher, induction hobs, oven and large American style fridge freezer, along with a spacious dining room area with table and seating for 6-8 people. A laundry room with washing machine is also available.

The outdoor space is vast, with spacious outdoor terraces and numerous seating areas, including a dining table for 8 and a comfortable seating area. There is a 10 x 4 metre outdoor swimming pool with underwater lighting and 8 x poolside sun loungers. The house has a Sonos music system with BOSE outdoor speakers located on the main terrace along with a gas BBQ.

Wonderful stay

Absolutely loved our stay here, fantastic villa with stunning views. Only minor criticism would be the road just before the entrance is pretty horrendous with few large potholes which is a worry when you are in a hire car but that said we negotiated it without a problem. We loved the villa's location and would not hesitate in returning left feeling very refreshed - Thank you Simon & Amy

Another great visit - highly recommended

We returned for a second year to Casa Jenisi and loved it just as much this time. The villa is beautifully clean and the pool and terrace wonderful for lots of relaxation and fun. Gata de Gorgos is also a fab Spanish village where you won’t find many tourists but a warm welcome from all the locals. Javea is a lovely traditional Spanish beach town nearby and Dénia is a bigger but also lovely town to visit as well. Simon and Amy and Caroline (neighbour) all looked after us very well when we had any queries. Many thanks

Incredible Villa, amazing holiday!

We (5 adults 3 children) have just returned from 9 nights staying at this beautiful villa! A wonderful location, with a cosy and homely feel. Incredible spacious outdoor areas which were enjoyed by all. Gata was a beautiful village with a really authentic spanish feel and the villa was the perfect base to explore from. The hosts were brilliant and responded so quickly with any questions. Would also highly recommend a meal at Bar Arraval in Gata for some amazing traditional Spanish food! We would definitely recommend this amazing Villa and can’t wait till return!

A wonderful Villa holiday

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the villa with our family. The pool was fabulous and the villa very peaceful due to its rural location. The villa was spacious & the perfect size for our family of 6. We enjoyed days relaxing by the pool and evenings out in Morira & Javea. The owners of the villa were always on hand if needed and were extremely accommodating to our needs

Wonderful villa in a great location

We're just back from a fab two weeks at Casa Jenisi. The villa is really gorgeous and in a beautiful location with a great unspoilt view out to the coast. We spent many a happy hour on the terrace soaking it all in and also down a few steps in the swimming pool area . The inside of the villa is also very spacious and comfortable. We are a family of six (two parents and three adult children/one girlfriend in their twenties) and the villa worked well for us but would do equally well with younger children or children and grandparents with three bedrooms close to each other and an annex. We loved Gata de Gorges - some great restaurants with delicious food at excellent prices and a choice of bars to watch the world go by. Also the tram in Gata is amazing as it will take you easily to some great places - we went to Denia which is well worth visiting and only a 15 minute ride away. All in all we will definitely be back to spend some more time on that terrace and do a bit more exploring. Thank you! Fiona and family

We are very sorry to be leaving this property and what has been a fantastic family holiday.

We have had a fabulous holiday at Casa Jenisi and sorry we had to leave. The villa was wonderful and fully equipped with everything needed for our stay. We loved the pool area and dining on the top terrace, the views were stunning. Simon and Amy were great hosts and we're quick to respond to our emails before our holiday. We didn't need to contact them during our stay as everything was perfect. Thanks for a great holiday, we will recommend you to our friends and family

A wonderful week

A perfect location to explore from. We visited Javea, Denia and Moraira all of which very interesting with lovely lunches also. These trips were interspursed with time around Gata and this wonderful Villa. The villa has everything that anyone would need to provide a home from home experience. We were blessed with sunny days so the pool and bbq were well used. Arr Els retuarant a real treat and the beer garden opposite the cinema a true gem. Will return but next time for 2 weeks. We didn't want to leave!

Communication with Simon and Amy very thorough. Obviously they have thought of the renter as the priority without any worrying about extras you need to buy. Would return again if property is available.

Great stay

Speedy, comprehensive communication from owners and excellent pre arrival info. filled us with confidence for a great stay; and we were not disappointed. Location is peaceful but only 20 min stroll from Gata, which has good local facilities and Spanish feel. One week of our stay was fiesta which was unique experience for us, bull running, live music, fireworks, parades etc. Seaside towns of Denia, Javea and Calpe only 20-30 mins drive away for vast selection of restaurants, shops and supermarkets, with plenty of free / cheap parking. The villa is spacious and well equipped with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. The barbeque and outdoor eating area were well used. Super pool with many inflatables (and pump!) available. We would happily return.

Lovely Villa

Upon arrival after having taken a wrong turn we were impressed by the lovely villa and it’s surroundings. One slight niggle was the road up to the entrance which had bushes either side and was not a proper road surface so we were a bit fearful for our hire car every time we drove up and down. The villa was beautiful and plenty room for everyone indoors and out. The villa is quite rural more so than I thought which meant we had to travel every night into Denia or Javea for dinner and a bit of life as we had 3 teens with us. If you don’t like venturing too far then this villa is ideal as the town has everything you would need but for us it was just too quiet. Simon and Amy were very helpful when we had no WiFi on arrival and had this sorted for us as soon as they could. All in all it’s a great villa albeit too rural for us.

Great rural villa

Communication with the owners prior to arrival was very good, and a very quick response, we had a very late flight in so the owners arranged some beer, wine and nibbles in the fridge ( payable to the neighbour ) which was great before we went to the supermarket in the morning, which was only a 10 min drive at the most as we went to the large one just outside the small town, there are plenty supermarkets near all the local towns all just a short drive away. Some of the family walked to the local baker in the town on some occasions it was about a 20 min walk for some fresh bread ect. The villa was fantastic, finished to a very high standard had everything you would expect, and looks a lot better than the pictures, had air con in all the bedrooms which was welcome in the heat, we BBQ most nights and went out for a meal a couple of times, found a fantastic steak house about 15 mins away, mentioned in the quest book, also had ample seating area, and most days were spent at the lovely pool area having the added bonus of a fridge at it, had to contact the owners a couple of times during our stay for very minor things and the response was immediate, thanks, Over all we had a great time and would certainly come back, nice quiet location for a family holiday, with the busy coast only 20 minutes away if you require, once again thanks to Simon and Amy

2nd visit to this wonderful villa

This was a return trip to the villa, so we knew we were in for a relaxing week We are a family party with ages from under one to 65. There is so much space here that no one is I see each other's feet. There is always somewhere you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Simon and Any have installed a new BBQ so again lots of outdoor cooking. With a baby under 6 months the annex is a godsend! Mum dad and baby were all self contained so when and if he woke in the night it didn't disturb the rest of the house. If I had any thing bad to say it would be that the neighbours dog is a barker! But if course there is little that Simon and Any can do about that. It just ment that we had to shut the Windows at night and use the air-con. Once again thank you Simon and Any for a wonder time at your piece of Spanish heaven.

Pure relaxation

2nd time here and loved it even more than the first! Villa feels so spacious inside and out, you are never on top of each other. Pool and gardens beautifully kept. You can sit by the pool and puck your oranges to eat or squeeze for breakfast or your lemons for your drinks.. this makes it feel even more special. Love Gata... especially Arr Ells restaurant and Kieths little garden bar opposite the cinema. Can't wait to do back next year, may do 2 weeks as there us so much more we want to see in the area, feel we have only scratched the surface. Thank you for the most amazing stay... again! A perfect venue for a family gathering

A well appointed roomy villa with fantastic views all around. Clean pool and great outside areas. 15 mins walk to Gata town or a 5 euro cab ride. Loved it so much we rebooked for next year whilst still there.

A beautiful, relaxing villa to stay in with all you need for your stay. We highly recommend it.

This villa is set in such a beautiful part of Spain which gives amazing views of the mountains from all rooms of the villa. Plenty of space to relax (even with our large family) and we had all we needed for our stay to hand. Lots of thought and attention has gone into making it a holiday to enjoy and remember. We highly recommend this villa to anyone and wish to book again soon. The pool is set down in the garden with a lockable gate so we were reassured of our children’s safety. With local supermarkets and wonderful little Spanish shops, we didn’t have to go far for anything we needed. The locals were friendly and welcoming and Andy (caretaker) was very helpful and looked after the pool and anything else we required during our stay. We had the holiday we were always dreaming of and the luxurious villa was even better than we had imagined. The local area was absolutely stunning. If you book here, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic villa

We had a very relaxing week at Cass Jenisi. The villa is well-maintained and has everything we needed for a family holiday. Andy and Jackie were waiting for us at the villa and were very welcoming. The pool is lovely and very refreshing in the current heatwave. The air conditioning meant that we were able to relax indoors as well as outdoors on one of the three sun terraces. The villa is very spacious so we were all able to have our own space when we wanted it. You will need a car as the villa is a 20 minute walk from Gata de Gorgos and it is handy if you want to go to the beach. We really enjoyed Moraira which is a 20 minute drive from the villa. I would highly recommend this villa for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. Thank you Andy and Jackie for being so.welcoming and helpful.

Beautiful rural spacious villa with everything you need!

Arrived after a few wrong turns but once there it was easy to access the villa. Walking out onto the terrace and seeing the view is wonderful. Then glancing down to see the sparkling pool makes you realise you have chosen well!! The rooms are all spacious with much needed air con and were clean and tidy. We ate out on the terrace every mealtime but there is a good sized dinning table inside too. The kitchen has a nice big fridge. The fridge by the pool is an added bonus so you don’t have to stray far to get a cold drink. We went to La Republica in Denia for lunch and they were so friendly and the food was terrific, great for looking at all the lovely boats too. We couldn’t find the market in Denia but went to the beach instead which was a little rustic but the sea was nice and shallow for little ones and a good temperature. We also ventured out to Javea to La Boheme which also had great food and very friendly service, the beach there was much bigger but also packed with people! The local town of Gata is sweet and best to wonder down the side streets off the main road to get a feel for the place. We did one big shop at Carrefour and then topped up from the local supermarket which worked perfectly. All in all a wonderful relaxing break!

Great family escape

A little piece of heaven. From the greeting when we arrived, to the time we sadly left, we had a wonderful stay. The description on the site does not do the villa justice. A chance to relax in a Spanish villa with the occasional sound of the horses next door. We were a family group with 3 generations, aged from 3 to 64. There was enough room that everyone had room to relax. From the grandchildren in the pool from the minute we opened the gates, till we locked them out, to some of the adults relaxing in the swing chairs or on the terrace's. Peace and quiet relaxation!!! Word of warning. Don't let the teenagers use the wonderful sound system, if you want to relax!!! In the evening enjoying barbecuing the evening meal, and when you needed lemons for your drink, you picked them straight from the tree! If you want a beach they are just a 15 minute drive away. I would tell all my friends to book this, but I won't! I want to keep this piece of Spanish heaven to myself so we can rebook!!!! Seriously I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa for a relaxing family holiday. In fact I have already recommended it!!

Impressive villa in a lovely and peaceful location.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The villa is in a lovely location, very peaceful and within a few minutes drive of the local town of Gata de Gorgos. Numerous and spacious outdoor areas, giving lots of options. Fabulous terrace with shaded table and chairs, for long lunches and even longer evening meals. There's a separate seating area on this terrace, which is lovely for sundowners. Very well equipped throughout the villa. We would not hesitate in staying at Villa Jenisi again and can not recommend it highly enough.

Exceeded All Expectations & More!

The Location - As first time travellers to this region of Spain, we had no idea what to expect. It would be fair to say it surpassed all expectations and some! The immediate surroundings to the villa itself are private, spacious & tranquil. As for the views, they are far reaching, beautiful and just damn right impressive. In terms of positioning for excursions and eating out in the evening; the villa manages to find the 'perfect' balance between having a peaceful and exclusive base, but also being very close and accessible to the area's must see's! These include the local town of Gata de Gorgos and neighbouring towns, such as Dénia & Xàbia. If you are more of a city goer, both Alicante & Benidorm are very viable for day trips. As for for the villa itself - wow, just amazing. Upon arrival to the villa, the first and foremost feelings you have, are exclusivity & class. Once you have successfully passed through the electric gates and have parked in the large & private drive, you get a feeling of not only how large the villa is itself, but also the scale of the entire plot that accompanies it. To the best of my memory, this comprises of: Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, 3 reception rooms and kitchen within the main villa. Then a further self contained double room and ensuite apartment accessible from them main terrace / BBQ area. All of the bedrooms / bathrooms / reception rooms & kitchen are finished to a very high standard and also very well equipped. For us personally, the 'pièce de résistance' of this villa is the multi levelled, well lit, large outside space. Immediately from the kitchen door, you get what we called the 'upper terrace'. This consists of a dining area with optional sun cover, fully functional BBQ and then a further 'after dinner' chill out area with rattan table & chairs. This is where we soaked in the the sensational views, come morning, noon & night. This is also a great night time drinks area as has great outdoor lighting and music system. Then a winding stair case takes you down from 'upper deck' to what we called 'the middle deck'! This is a perfect sun trap and equipped with modern swinging sun lounges. This area is great for some midday professional sun tanning or with our goofy bunch, some very abstract musical production - using the winding stairs down as there entry to the 'stage'! ** Also please note for prankster husbands, the swinging sun loungers are directly under a window; cold water alert!
