FantaSea Home is a detached family villa that can sleep 7 guests. The private pool is 9.5m long x 5.5m wide and can be lit at night. The property is located near a hilltop over one of the most beautiful and longest white sandy beaches (Son Bou) of the beautiful island of Minorca (a UNESCO natural biosphere reserve). Menorca is the unspoiled gem of the Balearic Islands, Spain. The island is surrounded by the crystal clear and warm Mediterranean waters.
This modern Menorcan style house sits on a hill facing South/South-West. It offers breathtaking sea and sunset views . Son Bou is one of the 100 beaches of Menorca. Its west section is totally unspoiled and protected and it is surprisingly quite even during the peak summer season.
The property has been fully refurbished to a high standard in spring 2023. It has been decorated to give it a unique beach taste.
The villa has 4 spacious and cozy bedrooms, a bright living room opened to the outdoor porch offering magnificent views. There are two porches facing S/SW, both overlooking the sea and the private swimming pool with its large terrace equipped with shower and sun lounges. The outdoor dining areas and the gas BBQ are ideal for “al fresco” dining, and allows to fully enjoy the gentle evening breeze and sunsets over a glass of great local wine.
The kitchen is fully equipped. All rooms have air conditioning and free unlimited Wi-Fi. A HD smart TV offers international channels provided by two different satellites (Netflix is included as a complimentary service), and a mini Bluetooth Hi-fi system cheers up the evenings with guests’ favorite music under a splendid starry sky.

PLEASE NOTE: The property is on two floors connected through a stair case and the swimming pool terrace is at a further lower level accessible through an external staircase. Bathrooms

We were restricted to one bathroom between 6 people. The plumber came out 3 times and claimed to have fixed the problem, after the 3rd visit he admitted defeat and put the bathroom off limits. The problem was very unpleasant and smelly.

Fantastic sea view villa

Just returned from a fabulous stay at Fantasea villa. The villa has everything you need and is tastefully decorated. Everything you could possibly want has been thought of and is provided to a high standard. As a family group of seven there were plenty of space to relax. The sea views were spectacular from all three terraces with the pool area having sun all day. The pool itself was crystal clear and well maintained. The pictures don't do the villa justice. The location of Fantasea villa is perfect, central to the island only 20 mins from the airport and most places only an easy 15 minutes drive away, Ciutadella is only 30 mins away. A truly lovely villa and one that we all would recommend, thank you, we can't wait to come back.

10 days in beautiful Menorca

A very clean, well equipped property in a quiet residential area. The nautical decor is impressive. The balconies and pool area have privacy. The pool, which, is excellent is accessed down some steps. Air conditioning in the rooms is easy to operate and very effective. It is a steep hill if walking to the restaurants or beach but there is plenty of parking nearby. Manuele is extremely approachable and helpful at all times. He strives to ensure you have a great holiday without any problems.

Wonderful Property

We had a wonderful week at Fantasea - the Villa was immaculate, very private and the most stunning view over the bay at Son Bou. Our host was extremely responsive and provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The Villa is in a quiet spot at the end of a cul-de-sac, and is very modern. There are many different areas to sit and enjoy the view both shady and sunny. We had a wonderful time and are planning our return!

Amazing two week stay in this beautiful villa

Our first impression on arrival was wow, the view was incredible, some evenings you can actually see across to Mallorca. The villa itself was lovely, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The pool and pool area were a welcome luxury especially with the extreme heat. We loved the way the villas have been designed so no one is overlooked. Son Bou beach is beautiful and the sea is crystal clear, it’s not far to walk, an umbrella and two beds are 20 euros for the day, walking back up the hill can be hard going though but we did it even with a 6 and 7 year old. The supermarket at the bottom of the hill is good for basics but can be expensive, we hired a car for two days and drove to a supermarket outside Mahon which had everything we needed and was very reasonable. There are plenty of restaurants in Son Bou, we had an evening meal at the beach restaurant which had an amazing sunset. My boys loved the Copacabana and the Hawaiian bar where the waiters wear rollerscates. We also ate at the all inclusive hotel the Valentin which is just a 7 minute walk away. Thank you to Manuele who was always very helpful with any questions that we had. We had a wonderful holiday and look forward to returning.

We are a family consisting of parents and 3 teens 16-18 yrs. The villa was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our needs. The kids all stated that the photo's were for once spot on or more so, that they didn't show as nice as it actually is, we both agreed. As the chief 'booker', Manuale couldn't have been more helpful or quick to respond to any queries, which is always reassuring. The location of the villa gives great views even from one of the bathrooms. Whilst the kitchen was small, it suited our needs perfectly and everything worked as it should with plenty of glasses, cutlery, crockery etc.. The walk into town and beach is short, but steep, great on the way down, HOT on the way up! The town itself is small but lovely, a great beach and long enough for a decent walk. There seemed to be every type of holiday restaurant within walking distance if you don't want to drive in the evenings, taxi's also easily available. We hired a car from the local rental place which was so simple and easy (I hate the queues at the airport). We've been holidaying in villas from vrbo for years, this is a stand-out property and location, it's not often you get them both together.

Beautiful tranquil villa for restful holiday

The villa itself is everything we expected from the details given. It commands wonderful views to the sea over the terracotta rooftops below. The private pool and terrace are ideal for relaxing and sunbathing or for cooling off after a day sightseeing around the island. The location is also ideal for easily getting to other sites around the island to enjoy coffee and ensiamada and/or lunch before returning for an afternoon by the pool. Many thanks to Manuele for managing several enforced changes to our booking over the last two and a half years. It’s good to be back taking a holiday.

Beautiful Villa

We stayed at FantaSea Home in May/June 2022 and could not have been more pleased with our choice of accommodation. The villa is light and airy with the most stunning views. The property has air con throughout but we barely needed it as there was a lovely cooling sea breeze during our stay. The pool is a great size and our two kids loved it (as did the adults!). We made good use of the outside space on all levels of the Villa and the Weber gas BBQ was a fantastic option for a couple of lovely home cooked meals. Manuele the host could not have been more helpful and was quick to respond to any questions we had. He also provided great recommendations for eating out which were much appreciated. We had such a relaxing week and look forward to returning to FantaSea Home in the future.

Lovely stay at Fanta Sea

We had a wonderful stay at Fanta Sea. Manuel (the owner) was very responsive and helpful with any of our requests. The villa is in a lovely and quiet location overlooking Son Bou. It's about 20 minutes walk to the beach (although we drove on the occasions we went). Views from the balcony are excellent. The kind you never tire of. The windows are all double glazed to a high standard and good air conditioning throughout which meant we got a good nights sleep. When we arrived at the villa at 8pm, it was clear that there had been a dust storm between previous tenants leaving and our arrival. Everywhere outdoors was covered in dust and the bottom of pool was coated. I dropped Manuel a text to let him know and he attended to it immediately. The pool was cleaned before we were up the next morning (we never saw who did it) and house cleaners came next day and washed down all the outside surfaces.

Stunning views & location, high spec villa with eclectic decor

Villa Fantasea is an incredible place for an extended break. Located on the hill over Son Bou you get full 180 degree views of the sea - beautiful sunsets really help lift the stress away. It is pretty quiet and being at the end of a cul de sac, there's no traffic noise. You are in fairly close proximity to other villas and the town gets louder on the weekends. It is 5-10 mins to the supermarket and bakery downhill....bit harder walking uphill in the sun, but keeps you fit! Around 15-20 mins walk to the beach, but there's usually parking available if you want to drive it. The villa has AC throughout and a number of shaded areas to sit out. The pool is great for kids - about 8m, but with the steps, makes it tricky to do lengths. It is surrounded by tall flowering hedges which are beautiful, but you end up with petals in the pool in the mornings. Not an issue - quite pretty. There's plenty of space to hang out and read under the (new) umbrellas (don't forget to close them in the evening as can get quite gusty on the hill). Internet speeds were fine for email and you can stream Netflix / films via the smart TV. For conference calls it held up OK, but if you're doing multiple Zooms / sending large files, you should switch over to 4G - reception was excellent on most networks. The kitchen and separate utility were well equipped - we were missing certain things which Manuele purchased - including a knife sharpener and new knives (for anyone else frustrated by holiday knives so blunt you can't cut a strawberry!). What would really elevate this villa up to the next level would be a large fridge with ice machine! There's a decent Weber gas grill outside - perfect for cooking Menorcan chicken (they REALLY like their chicken on this island!) and just about anything else. Manuele had apologised in advance that he'd changed management companies the day before we arrived and we mostly dealt with him directly for any issues. He was really responsive and fixed anything. The new management company were pretty good too and the cleaners who came in mid-stay were superb. Bathrooms are high spec - and despite warnings not to have long showers, we never ran out of hot water. Finally....the slightly eccentric decor. I would describe it as maritime steam punk! Some things were quite cool, the kids loved it, but it won't appeal to everyone. From our experience, you quickly get used to it.

Exceeded our expectations

We couldn’t believe our luck when we arrived at this beautiful villa with its magnificent views. Everything about the way it has designed means that it offers the perfect base from which to enjoy your holiday. The only problem was sometimes trying to get my sons to leave as they were so happy to just chill by the pool there ! It is perfectly equipped with everything you may need and was spotlessly clean. Really appreciated the modern bathrooms. The location was ideal for exploring all the amazing coves on the north and south of the Island. In fact we enjoyed Manuele’s hospitality and villa so much we can’t wait to go back to visit again next year.

Lovely villa

This is a really lovely villa and worked well for a 2 generational party (we older folk and 4 young adults). It is very well appointed, nicely laid out (we let the younger folk have their own 'suite' downstairs and we took the bedroom and bathroom upstairs which worked very well), with a lovely pool and outstanding views of the sea and stunning wetlands. The town, with several restaurants and bars, and the beautiful beach (head west to escape the crowds in high season) is a 10/15 minute walk away. Overall we would heartily recommend.

Excellent well appointed luxury villa in the gorgeous Son Bou resort,

We loved our holiday in Menorca staying at Fanta Sea villa and will be back! The villa was superb - well laid out and equipped and beautifully decorated in nautical themes. The views over the ocean were simply amazing. The welcome pack was a real treat - thank you especially for the menorcan cake! The area on SAN Jamie was peaceful and Son Bou was a pleasant scenic resort. Manuele provided excellent communication from start to finish and we used many of his restaurant and beach recommendations and were never disappointed! Menorca is a peaceful unspoilt island with such beautiful and geological history we were really impressed, We will be back! Thank you Manuele.

Superb Holiday Villa

We would thoroughly recommend Fantasea Home. The villa itself is representative of a charming Menorcan style blended with contemporary decor and fixtures. The overall feel of the villa is clean, light and fresh. The views from the villa are particularly good as it is not overlooking the commercial centre of the resort but instead the residential areas down to the beach and sea. It was very peaceful around the pool during daytime and easy enough to walk to and from the resort centre of an evening. Manuele gave great communication throughout and was very helpful with providing additional local information and tourist advice. Son Bou itself is a great resort with a great beach offering safe bathing. Great holiday, great villa, Thanks

Excellent accommodation with beautiful sea view with very reliable owner

We chose this villa because it offered the four bedrooms we needed for a family holiday. As grandparents we had the upper master bedroom with adjoining ensuite, while our daughter and husband and the two grandsons had the lower floor with three bedrooms and family bathroom. Convenient but with enough privacy if needed. The setting is lovely with a brilliant view over the sea which we really enjoyed as a family, having breakfast on the upper terrace each day. Accommodation is spacious and the whole villa is well equipped, for example with dishwasher and washing machine, fridge freezer and so on. The grandsons really liked the pool, and used it every day, often after morning trips to the many beautiful and unspoilt places around Menorca. What really impressed me was the way that Manuele, the owner, replied instantly on every occasion we had a question, however small. This reassured us that the villa belonged to a real person who cared about clients, and wasn’t the kind of scam you often read about.. At the end of a great holiday in a lovely location, our security deposit was returned straight away. We would all heartily recommend this property to other travellers looking for a lovely villa in a peaceful location near to plenty of good restaurants and beaches. Well worth every euro or pound.- an excellent choice.

Fantasea Home Stay

We all loved this villa and our stay there. The villa is beautifully furnished and the rooms are both spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed being in the very large sitting room with picture windows overlooking the sea. Just outside was a large terrace where we took our meals and enjoyed the wonderful sea views. We never tired of looking at those views. The weather was very hot while we were there and we cooled off in the pool, which was so inviting and excellently maintained. We also appreciated the quiet air conditioniing that was available in the house and enabled us to sleep well at night.. We also liked the very well equipped kitchen and laundry. The easy to use dishwasher and washing machine minimised the domestic chores, which is essential on holiday. The bathrooms are also lovely and look new. It is an exceptional villa where so much love and thought has been put into the construction and decor. We would all be happy to stay there again. We all fell in love with the villa and the views and none of us wanted to leave. I think that is a sign of a very good holiday. We all look forward to our next visit. With best wishes, Ann

Wonderful villa beautifully appointed, amazing views and gorgeous weather.

Lovelly villa, great rooms, balconies and pool. Clean, tidy and with breath taking views of the sea. Wonderful to eat breakfast on the balcony every morning enjoying the view. Just one small downside several of the villas near by were having work done so there were periods in the day when drills, hammers and cement mixers were going.

A beautiful pool (max length 9.5m, max width 5.5m) which lits at night is surrounded by a spacious terrace, parasols and sun lounges. You will love the gentle breeze and the stunning sunsets as well as its flowers and the Mediterranean bushes and palm trees. It offers a modern beach style, after an extensive refurbishment in 2023 to the highest standards.
It was love at first sight and it is now a truly Fantastic Sea view property. We decided to call it FantaSea Home.
